Opatija Hotel

Close to the Grand Bazaar ( walking.distance) and the tram line going towards the Sultanahmet square and Eminonu. The location though was very quiet, private parking, good breakfast, very clean.

Every morning departure towards the city center began with climbing a very steep slope( not as bad though, if u are in shape) :)

Very good location, rooms are comfortable and clean. The highlight of the stay is the staff, extremely helpful and kind.

A gem of a hotel, perfectly located for all the main attractions. Really attentive and friendly staff, very clean and comfortable and the balcony was an added bonus.

The hospitality and friendliness of the staff were outstanding from check-in and breakfast to assistance with any questions. The room number was perfect! And cats. Lot’s of cats:)

Upon arrival in the evening, the location seemed a bit remote, but later it turned out that getting to all the main attractions was no problem.

We did not like anything and checked out after one day. A New Zealander we met in the breakfast room expressed his dislike for the accommodation

The location is great you can go to every sight by walk but the closest area at the hotel is very dirty.

We have been coming back to this hotel for few years and it never disappoints. Very clean , quiet and amazing breakfast. Best staff ever . They are always kind, helpful, and ready to assist with anything we need. Thanks to Can, Emre , Emin and their colleagues !

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Can (pronounced John) went out of his to meet our needs. The location was close within walking distance distances to everything. Felt safe!

Good value for it’s money! Location very close to all the tourist attractions. Clean and spacious room with AC. But most of the appreciation deserved by hotel staff! Also very tasty breakfast!

It is quite downhill but the hotel always drops guests up by buggy so even that minuses were rectified

The people were just extraordinary, the breakfast was excellent but the cookies they made there ....fantastic, EPIC!! We will come back there as soon as possible! :)

The breakfast was excellent, the stay exceeded my expectations, the cave room with the incredible view was worth the trek up the stairs. The staff were brilliant.

The A/C is centralized. It gets warm at night. We need to open our patio door.

Really good breakfast. Staff is very friendly. The room was very tidy, they changed our towels daily. All of the hotel was really clean and nice. Good value.

The hotel is really nice, clean, comfortable beds, the breakfast food is delicious, the staff is very polite and gave us some useful tips. I have requested a parking spot and they have reserved one (parking in Istanbul is a nightmare, so that was very nice)(and it is free, unlike other hotels). Close to public transport. Highly recommend this hotel!

There is really nothing bad about this hotel. Maybe the neighborhood is not that nice (but you can feel the local vibe and eat good food nearby), but the location is good as you have public transport nearby.

The room, the good signal from Wi-Fi, the free parking for my car, the breakfast, the politeness of the staff makes you feel very good.

The property is very conveniently located, walkable to almost all main attractions in the city. The local area also is very nice, with many restaurants and shops. It is a very authentic stay in Istanbul. Also their breakfast is top notch.

Newly refurbished, everything new. Nice breakfast.

There was some mix up with rooms - I ordered 2 bed room, got double bed room. They added second, portable bed and next day moved us to another room.
