Elmira Pera Hotel & - Special Class

Abdallah was the best employee at the reception. He was incredibly helpful with all our requests and went out of his way to assist us. When we arrived at the hotel at 11 AM, he made an exception to arrange an early check-in for us, which we truly appreciated. Thank you, Abdallah, for everything!

Too noisy during day and night zero sound proof you can listen to the neighbors movement all the time day and night Moreover there is a night club immediately next to it where the loud music won’t make you sleep till 5 in the morning

The proximity to public transit, stores, and restaurants

A nightclub that’s opened 7 days a week, from 1am to 5pm of non-stop music… that reverberates through the building

The location is great. It is above Ficcin, an incredible restaurant and next to Breakfast in Pera, a very cute breakfast restaurant.

There was no running water in my room on my last day there. There were animals running in the walls all night long. There is no soundproofing so heard extremely loud sex every night. There is a night club directly next door that is so loud that my bed was vibrating until 6 in the morning. I stayed there for 7 days/ 6 nights. I asked to change rooms and couldn’t get a straight answer. I decided to keep my room in case the second option was worse. I basically did not sleep for a week straight so I do not recommend staying here more than 1 night.

The hotel was near the town especially taksim square. The hotel was very clean, presentable, and had nice interior designs. I like that the workers there were very friendly and welcoming. They gave us some tips on traveling as tourists and took some time to get to know us. On our last day they were also very kind and accommodating. They made sure we had such a great experience and I would recommend 10/10 to stay at this hotel if you’re staying in Istanbul for a few days and want to be near most of the sights. We were close by to galata tower, taksim square, karakoy pier and galata bridge. We were able to get such a good discounted price and would love to stay again at this place the next time we visit Istanbul.

The room looked as it appeared on photos, the room was spacious, bathing section was also relatively large. A warm blanket was provided on request. Staff was very helpful. A variable illumination in the room and strong working AC

A chair and curtains were missing from the balcony. The room was generally dirty, showing a bit of neglect and the lack of proper cleaning, bed sheets had tears and towels had stains. Shower was partially dirty. It was a noisy place due to neighboring club right next door. The noise died down only closer to 3-4 a.m. The toilet paper was handed out directly to guests with no package. Due to the building being historic, every noise could be heard from other rooms, walls are thin

the location was great, the turkish man that was working there (i’m guessing he was the manager) was actually caring about the customers also the spa ladies are the best, compliments on them! The room was pretty nice I liked how there was a mini kitchen inside.

The staff, especially the receptionists were not helpful at all, once we ordered some amount of food from outside and instead of talking to me as a customer of this hotel he was talking to me like i’m his friend and he said like “this can’t be happening, what’s going on?” and when I called back to get the manager’a phone due to this inappropriate conversation he was like “of course here you go complain however you want” in a very arrogant way. They don’t really talk English so they won’t be able to help you with details for sure, they open google translate and try to communicate which is not really professional for a hotel in Beyoğlu and sadly their Turkish is also not that good. We stayed 4 nights and after the 3rd night our sheets were changed but they didn’t even give us fresh towels this was also annoying. Some random moment the electricity went away in the middle of a morning AND the toilet flush was working strange if you didn’t push the small button after flushing, the water was continuing to flow for hours. Also the AC wasn’t working and I had to call them for them to push a button or something in reception for ac to work? The door had this holes because they’re made from wood but you can actually see outside from those holes this was also a bit weird.

Location is perfect

We were hosted in an apartment on the opposite side of the hotel. There was plumbing issue and we had no water. We weren't offered any solutions or compensations, just a 5 liter bottle of water. To wash ourselves or flush the toilet, I don't know. 2 nights with no shower and going to toilets in restaurants. Pure misery. The owner did not lift his finger or at least try to act concerned. He just left and stopped responding.

Great location, just 2 minutes from Istiklal street. The room was very clean and looked very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi worked very well. For this money, it is a great option.

The main problem is that after 12am, the loud music is turned on in a club nearby. You can hear it very well in the room, as well as the vibration on the bed. The fun continues until 5am, and it is very difficult to sleep at this time. The staff offered us a solution to the issue and for this we are very grateful. On the second night, we were offered to change the room or take earplugs. We decided to try the second option, and with them, we could already sleep more or less normally.

-Proximity to taxim. -Building was beautiful! -The female receptionist was amazing! Very helpful and great english.

-Lack of amenities. We had to ask again and again for the basics. Eg toilet rolls. -The noise from the local bars was second to none.

Location. Price. The stuff was very polite and helpful. The hotel design. Flooring sealing lightning. Everything was good. I lll go again.

Location is super close to istklal street Restaurants and cafes are few steps from the hotel and the staff are very friendly and helpful specially Abdullah and zahra thank you so much for your help and you can choose breakfast between two places outside the hotel both of them are good transportation is easy to take also wither it’s taxi or tram or bus and don’t worry about safety it’s in a good area certainly I recommend people to stay in this place and hopefully i can stay here again
