Khai Karakoy

The staff were extremely polite, helpful, kind, and professional - this was definitely the highlight of my stay. They made me feel welcomed and taken care of.

However, there was one uncomfortable moment: in the morning, staff attempted to enter my room without prior permission. This affected my sense of privacy and felt unpleasant.

The hotel is close to Istanbul’s main attractions and public transportation. The level of safety and cleanliness is excellent. It also has a restaurant, and most importantly, the prices are reasonable.

The location is amazing it’s near to Taqseem street you can go walking and near to the grand bazaar and if you would like to walk beside the sea it’s near also all by walking … and the staff are really helpful and nice all of them specially Mateen.. the rooms are small but it’s ok cause it’s only for sleeping.I really recommend this place one of the best

The property is perfectly located. I’d rather stay on this side of Istanbul close to Galata Tower than the other side -Blue Mosque-It is close to a lot of attractions at night, and you can feel the good vibe the whole day. However, if you wanna go to the main attractions, you can easily walk 30 minutes, cross the bridge and you’ll be fineFood at both restaurants is great and the service at the front desk too They are all very helpful

The rooms are small. They don’t offer breakfast. They do not have a gym nor other amenities

The Hotel was centrally located, had friendly staff.The Interior of the hotel was quite modern, and rooms were clean and cozy.Reaching this hotel was easy, being close to many public transportation stations.

Everything! The staff was absolutely wonderful! Room was clean and a good size. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower was amazing! Everything was just a 10/10 and when I make it back to Istanbul I will absolutely be staying at Khai Hotel again!!

Room specific regulation of AC would have been great - now it was typically either too hot or too cold.

Perfect location, close to most touristic and non touristic sites, and super close and easy access to public transportation. Mettin and Ulker were great and helpful throughout the stay.

The location is excellent! Close to Galata Tower, walking distance to the old city, beautiful views from the room. I loved it!

I had very comfortable, warm and safe stay here! Making the most out of my stay all thanks to the reception team, all of them, they were absolutely welcoming and helpful in every way ?As a boutique hotel, it has almost exactly what it needs, with a little bit of additions to the rooms it can be perfect (like kettle, tea & coffee station Bec everything close at 10pm and sometimes you might need a hot cup of something before sleep, maybe an additional coach as well)I didn't get the chance to try their roof top because of snow, but I'll surely do if I ever came back to Istanbul because it's worth it!Great thanks to the hotel team and as well the Opaque restaurant team❤️

it was in general really good the atmosphere was very warm and the workers were always so kind and went out of their way to be hospitable more than some other places and the hotel was pretty much in the city centre with easy acess to famous places.

i wouldn't say there was something i really disliked. The weather was very snowy so the first night was quite chilly but they did have heating in the room so it was tolerable

Last time there was some construction work in lobby. But now it is perfect bakery and bar.

Stayed at Khai for 4 nights and it was great! New hotel at a central location. The rooms were spotless and had a minimalist eclectic design. Thank you Ikler, Mateen, Azeez and another staff who worked the night shift (sorry didn’t get your name) for being so attentive to our needs. I used to frequent Istanbul a lot and have stayed in over 10 hotels here and in my experience, the value Khai provides far exceeds what you’ll pay for in other hotels in Karaköy/Istanbul. ? There’s also jazz/live music performances on certain nights. Wish I had the chance to catch them! + Plus points for the 24 hour Doner/juice shop right downstairs for when you’re feeling peckish. ?
