Wyndham Grand Istanbul Kalamis Marina Hotel

Breakfast was good and I would send my thanks to Mr ali… lead member in reception helped us in check in and 3 persons in breakfast hall Mr Murat , Mr Edo and Mr Osman Emir

While the hotel has some appealing features, there are several areas that need improvement. The *mattress felt worn out and uncomfortable*, clearly needing replacement. The *shower pressure was extremely weak*, making it difficult to enjoy a proper shower. Although the *rooms are clean and spacious*, they are *quite old-fashioned* and could benefit from a modern update. Additionally, the *location is not very convenient*, as it’s *not close to many good restaurants*. For the price — *around $264 per night* — the experience feels *overpriced and underwhelming*. Also, *no staff was available to help with our luggage upon check-in*, which was disappointing for a hotel in this category.

The overall hotel is nice, the staff could be nicer and more motivated. I liked the location and the restaurant Jigger at the roof and the scent of the whole hotel was nice. Room service food is nice and the room service and staff as well.

The prices in hotel caffe and restaurants are high. The service in lobby caffe could be organized better. The accomodation taxes, property taxes, service charges, add up to the final invoice a huge % so be careful when spending in lobby caffe, room service and hotel restaurants. The rooms are loud you hear every "activity" of your neighbors and it is very unpleasant when you are there with kids. Overall there is not much staff and the hotel looks much bigger on photos. Also the streets around are VERY LOUD. Even one night there were HORRIBLY LOUD construction building noises at 2-3am which surprised me and we could not have a good sleep. Overally we will not come again. For example both Polat and Crown Plaza were a much better experience overally. The breakfast is VERY expensive and should be much better for 30 euro per person.

Clean, up-to-date, comfortable, very attentive service, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed, enjoyed the shower, ample room size

There was an issue with getting the proper room type but the staff/managed it to best of their ability.

The property is premium and spells luxury!Guest Mnager Myra,(hope I have the name right) was very kind to us! Made sure the experience was above expectation.Room View was good.Breakfast Spread was amazing, The honeycomb, delicious!And a vast variety of breads and cheese, and everything!Simply abundant.

Location, Staff and the Interiors.

the location was very good 10 minutes from the ferry if you wish to go to Europe . the room was good and very clean .the Breakfast was really good also its close to other good restaurants

The hotel is perfect for a getaway trip, the spa and pool facilities are great, breakfast with plenty of things to choose from, the rooms are big and comfortable.

The shower pressure was not great, I don’t know if it’s a problem in Istanbul in general because my friend who stayed in diferent place had the same problem.

We like everything at the hotel. Breakfast is perfect and so many choices. All the staff are so kind and helpful. Mr. Baris is help us so much about the room. Thank you for everyone.

There was a construction during our stay, which really disturbed us, starting from morning till 21:00. If we knew about it, we would not stay there this time. Except from this, everything was ok as always

The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. The hotel cats were so adorable.

Rooftop pool, nice breakfast, restaurant ouzo was super nice. Location was nice

The rooms smell like cigarettes (there was a clean ashtray in our room) we just think guests should not be allowed to smoke in the rooms and the light switches are so far from the bed

Loved the pool. The room was nice, too! It was also close to the marina, which was cool! Also, this side of Istanbul was super charming and less touristic.

The view was not as nice as advertised.

Bed are a little soft for me but they were fine.I just prefer a very firm mattress but the beds were good I'm sure most people like them.

We had stayed the prior week in Sultanahmet in a boutique hotel where the AC kept turning off. We showed up at the Wyndham Grand and were first impressed by the beauty of the hotel, the restaurants and the pools. But the rooms were our favorite. Good sized and great AC ! Loved the location by the marina which had good restaurants. Also very close to the ferry. We could uber every where. Concierge helped us plan a great day trip to the beach. Buffett breakfast was also good. Loved our stay here!!!

I had a excellent experience at this hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay — a special shoutout to Andy and Merve.The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options to start the day right. I also really enjoyed the pool area — clean, relaxing, and a perfect spot to unwind.

However, I was quite disappointed with the drink prices at the bars and throughout the hotel. They were far too expensive, which took away from the experience a bit.
