Osmanhan Hotel

The location of this property is excellent... within walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia Mosque, Arasta Bazaar, and a host of restaurants and shops.

the room was a little small, but very comfortable

The location is excellent, close to major attractions. The breakfast was great and rooftop is very nice.

Just not enough table to put your belongings and outlet to charge your phone. The bathroom has no counterspace.

Great location close to the main attractions on the Anatolian (Asian) side of Istanbul.Really comfortable room with AC, great electric pot yo make tea or coffee in the room, amazing breakfast, beautiful rooftop terrace, exceptionally warm, kind and helpful staff. I was allowed to check out an hour later to accommodate my flight.

This is not a deal breaker for me - the water pressure on the 4 th floor was not ideal.

The location is very central which we loved! Breakfast was good as well.

Our room was pretty small and the A/C didn’t work great. The decoration was nice but it’s lacking in amenities.

Beautiful rooms, central location, amazing view and excellent breakfast.

Bars nearby can be quite loud until very late but the soundproofing is thankfully quite good

Location - right at the heart of Old City, walking distance from Hagia Sofia, Hypodrome, Main Cistern, Blue Mosque.Room - clean, very well maintained (we stayed 3 nights, got the room cleaned after each)Breakfast - the terrace where this is served makes all the money, to sip the tea with local sweets while enjoying the Bosphorus Strait - unforgettable moments!

Central location so all Sultanahmet tourist sights are within easy walking distance. Quiet street. Spacious room. Clean. Fresh varied and rotating breakfast choices on rooftop, both covered and fresh air options. Very helpful concierge!

Excellent location

Room rather tired and lacking fine touches. No soap, milk or sufficient drink sachets. Breakfast heavily focussed to Eastern Europe cuisine.

Breakfast was delicious and had a great view of the water. The location is very convenient and the receptionists were all very friendly. The shuttle to the airport was €50 and easy to set up.

no elevator which means you have to climb four flights of stairs to get to breakfast

Perfect location close to Hagia Sofia and the Blue mosque. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Good breakfast. Very nice rooftop terrace where breakfast is served and where you also can admire the view in the evening/night. Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect.

This small boutique hotel was such a great find!! The building and rooms are so well maintained, super clean, and very pretty. Breakfast is very good and the views of the Bosphorous from the breakfast room are beautiful. I also loved how the decor of the rooms and lobby was in keeping with the Victorian age of the building. And since it is located in the most historic part of the city it really helps you to feel like you are stepping back in time to when Istanbul was part of the 19th century Grand Tour for educated young men of a certain class. Istanbul is now a must see for everyone and this hotel is in the best location just steps from all of the great sights. But what is best about the hotel is the very friendly and supportive staff. You feel like you are visiting family. They are so warm and generous and really try to anticipate your needs with advice and support. Ali even told us to call him if we were out and about and needed help, even with something simple like translating. Our last day was the cherry on top of our visit, we had an extremely early morning checkout and just assumed we were going to miss breakfast, but when we came downstairs at 3:45am Mahir had breakfast sandwiches wrapped up and ready to take with us! We were so surprised and grateful! That is the very high level of service you will get at Osmanhan Hotel!!

Old Town center can be reached by feed very easily

The most noisest hotel room we ever had ! We had a room on the 4th floor right underneeth the breakfast room. We had to wake up every day at 07:45, because then the loud noise started from the breakfast room. Staircase works like a loudspeaker in this hotel you can even hear in the 4th floor if somebody is talking in the ground floor.

Great location, very clean, friendly staff. I strongly recommend this hotel if you go in Istanbul.The only thing I didn’t like so much was the breakfast, I was expecting something more traditional.

The hotel was really cozy and beautiful, the amenities really clean and the terrace where the breakfast is served, has an amazing view. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, they even allow us to do an early check in and upgraded our room! Totally worth it and we will definitely be back ?

Fantastic stay in this fabulous boutique hotel. Reception staff were brilliant with a truly warm and friendly welcome and always more than happy to assist with anything you needed. A special thanks to Emir. Breakfast was fabulous. A great selection of freshly prepared food which changes every day. This can be eaten in the lovely rooftop breakfast room or, if warm enough, out one of the two terraces - both have great sea views.. The location is excellent 5 minutes walk to the centre on Sultanhamet and all of the tourist attractions on offer.and access to the tram/mentro. Lots of bars and restaurants within 2 minutes' walk. Felt very secure and safe walking around the area.Can highly recommend . Would not consider staying anywhere else should we return to Istanbul.

Absolutely nothing

Perfect location. Less that 10 minute walk to Hagia Sophia & tram. The breakfast was lovely. We look forward to it each morning. Loved seeing the cats on the roof.

A lovely small, cosy, newly renovated hotel with only 7 rooms. The room was spotless clean. Friendly and polite hotel staff offered advice on local restaurants and getting around. A simple but delicious breakfast is held on top floor with a beautiful view. Hotel is centrally located, only about 5 min walk from the Blue mosque. Highly recommended if you are looking for a small centrally located hotel.

The only minus points would be for bed duvet. There was just one duvet on a double bed too small for two people.
