Feronya Hotel

The location was excellent. everything else was below average.

The rooms are very small and the window view was just of another hotel windows, not much light went in. Bathroom is tiny and isn't maintained well. The corridors feel like they haven't been cleaned or renewed in a long time.

I really liked the breakfast it was good and had some variety every day. The staff at breakfast were also really kind, especially Mr. Emre, who was always nice and sometimes brought us tea with a smile.The reception staff, especially Mr. Hedyat and Mr. Omer, were very polite, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. A special thanks to Mr. Omer, who went above and beyond he suggested great places to visit and eat, helped with transportation advice, and even called a technician late at night to fix an issue in the toilet. When we decided to extend our stay, both Mr. Omer and Mr. Hedyat were kind enough to help us move to a room with a view, which made our stay much better.

The room wasn’t very spacious and the lighting wasn’t nice, especially in the rooms without a view. The cleanliness wasn’t great either. Our room was booked for three people, but we only got two items (like drinks and towels). When we asked the lady to bring a third one, she complained instead of just helping. We also mentioned the cleanliness issue, and later an older man at the reception came and started shouting at our room, even though we weren’t saying anything. It was very rude and made us feel uncomfortable.

When we left our hotel room, we closed the door and then tried to open it to make sure it was properly locked. To our surprise, the door opened without needing a key. We then noticed that something had been placed at the top of the door, preventing it from fully closing and locking. I reported this to the front desk, and the staff said they would review the security camera footage to find out who was responsible. They also offered to move us to a different room. The next day, I followed up with a receptionist to see if they had found any explanation for what happened, but the response was simply: no.Actually, we didn’t feel safe staying in the room, but since it was just a one-day visit to Istanbul, we decided not to spend our time changing hotels.

The staff was very nice and tolerant, the hotel location is suitable, the rooms are quiet, the breakfast needs to add more dishes and improve more.

The location was good and the room was relatively clean.

Almost everything else was disappointing. The room was extremely cold and the air conditioner didn’t work at all. It was so cold that I skipped taking a shower, but I still ended up getting sick the next day. The furniture and facilities were very old and worn out. The breakfast was honestly the worst I’ve ever had — not even up to a 2-star hotel standard.

All the staff are friendly , kindly, and I thanking soo much for Mr :Ibrahim , because he always smile in morning and he helped me a lot for take eat to my children and he made this with all love , I thank him alooot and told him , I tired you all morning thank you ?????

Very good stay like always, it’s my fifth time and will not be the last, the location of the hotel is near the most important amenities ( taksim square/ hava bus stop..) , staff very professional, kind and helpful, room clean and very good wifi

The attitude of the reservation staff was not good at all. The beds were not comfortable at all. The breakfast was very ordinary. I would have liked to have at least one type of Turkish food in the breakfast since I traveled to Turkey, but the breakfast was very simple and ordinary.

Breakfast can be better, heater of the room directly linked to the window, in case the window is not well close the heater wont function, but the technician was always available to support

It’s located 1 min walk to Havas bus stop.. 5 min walk to Taksim.. good breakfast.. clean rooms

Toilets don’t have inner locks. While asked maintenance said this is the standard design in all rooms.. surprised how a room accommodates 4 personnel with out bathroom lock

You could feel the metal springs in the mattress which is horrible for 4 nights stay. Breakfast is just as any standard turkish hotel, nothing special.
