An excellent hotel for the price, located centrally with plenty of shops and restaurants around.I would like to highlight Özhan, who gave us a tour of the Asian side of Istanbul. It was unforgettable.

Our only suggestions would be more frequent room cleaning and towel changes.

The staff (owners) of the hotel were really friendly and helpful for guidance and discussion. The room was clean and the location conveniently placed near a tram station. Definitely suggesting it for first time visitors in Istanbul.

Very good hotel for its price. Everything you need is there, good interior, enough space so the room does not seem too small, there is air conditioning and heating, and the staff is very friendly and can help and advise you on everything you need literally at any timeOverall, I can recommend this hotel

Hotel is located in good place, 10 minutes to tramway station. 20 minutes to old Bazar. Room was clean and cozy. Everything you need was in it: tv, refrigerator, AC. We are very satisfied.

Location at night is spooky

The hotel is clean, it's in the center, the owners are welcoming and friendly.

It was a really good place, and especially the boss of here and the employees of the counter was really gentle and nice.

The only disadvantage of this hotel is that there is no elevator. But the employees or boss in front of the counter will carry your luggage into your room.

It was clean and the stuff was friendly

A little bit thin walls, so you hear everything from the room next to you.

This is the second time that I have stayed at Sand Door Hotel and both times it has been an incredible experience. Özhan and Ramazan are so kind, helpful and accommodating. The hotel has undergone recent renovations and looks amazing. The facilities are very high class. The location is great, close walking distance to Sultanahmet and the tram line. I also really appreciated as a female traveler that the reception staff would stay awake until we got back to the hotel at night to make sure that we were safe. I really cannot recommend Sand Door Hotel highly enough! Make sure you visit:)

The hotel was clean and cozy, everything was fantastic. The host, Ramazan/Ramon (I hope I got the name right) was top tier, always willing to help and guide in the right direction. Highly recommend!

The location is perfect for shopping, sightseeing, quite afternoons, beach side walking only 7 minutes walk, seafood heavens 10 minutes walk . It’s just perfect location to be honest. Mr Özhan and Mr Ramazhan are one of the best hosts I’ve ever met we came as guests we are leaving as family . We had major issue with my family going to the airport and Mr. Özhan even after duty he helped us pay from him is own account to the driver and we paid him back in the hotel . Such a gentleman . Great people.

It must be one of the cleanest hotels in Istanbul and definitely the cleanest at this price point. The hosts are incredibly gracious, helping us with travel plans and recommending some excellent places to eat and visit.We had çay in our rooms, and although breakfast is not included, our hosts served coffee/çay each morning.The hotel rooms are very comfortable—small but exceptionally clean (one of the cleanest showers I’ve ever seen in a hotel)—and equipped with all the necessary amenities.We will definitely return here the next time we are in Istanbul. We loved this place!

The location is amazing giving you the opportunity to experience local elements and then just up a very steep hill you get the grand bazaar, the tram and all other tourist areas. Such a nice walk to the Blue mosque and the Hagia Sophia and other placesThe hosts are exceptional. There are no other words but exceptional Room has comfy beds and is clean. The stairs to the room is an adventure every day but added to the funWe loved it and def would be back

The stairs can be a bit tricky for people who struggle to get around. But as I said in my pros. It added to the fun and experience

The owners are incredibly kind and go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. They don’t just welcome you to their property—they provide excellent recommendations on what to see, where to go, and where to shop. If needed, they’ll even personally accompany you, like helping you find a local SIM card. The place is comfortable, and the location is great.

It's very cozy nice place. Everything was really good - comfortable bed, good shower, silence and cleanness in the room. The owner is very friendly man. Thanks for home in our vacation!

The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and efficient. The room amenities were nicely done and rooms were very comfortable.. The sleep quality was excellent, and the mattresses felt like sleeping at home.Location is great as you have mosque nearby, shops, restaurants etc. Highly recommend ^^
