    Pros +

    • Hotel Dimora was such a gem! We loved the traditional style. It felt like we were staying at a friend's house. I had the most comfortable stay and the staff was so welcoming. Thank you, Davut! It's in a great place in Kadikoy - just close enough to the busy parts but also quiet enough that you can rest. It's also near metro, bus, and ferry service. Great value and would definitely stay again.
    • The hotel is beautiful! Our room was very comfortable, and had great light and plenty of storage space. All of the hotel staff went well out of their way to make us feel welcome and help us with whatever we needed. They gave us great recommendations, and made us look forward to coming back home at the end of each day. We want to especially mention Daud and Amir who are such lovely, kind people. They made our trip feel really special.
    • Location was great. So close to Kadikoy bus station, metro and ferry port. The workers were very friendly even thought they didn’t speak English there was no problem communicating thanks to google translate. Very accommodating. Building and room was very charming, old ottoman building so it wasn’t 100% spick and span but nonetheless it was clean. Lots of lovely food shops nearby, I definitely recommend !!!!

    Cons -

    • Sometimes it could be tricky to get the shower water dialed to the correct temperature.
    • No complaints whatsoever.. All positive.
    • Condition of building, old

Excellent staff and location, as well as the property. Very comfortable, quiet, clean, and great central location for markets, etc… Superb friendly hosts. Will definitely visit again?

    No complaints whatsoever.. All positive.

I recommend Dimora for anybody staying in the heart of Kadikoy. David at the front desk was amazing, super friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located, walking distance to multiple restaurants

    Good staff, location, price

The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was decent, but rather small. The hot water was functional, and the bed was pretty comfortable. The location was good, close to the ferry and subway, a 5-10 minute walk at most. Shops and food places were available nearby.

The noise. The hotel is situated on a street with a couple of bars / restaurants, like 2 doors down. Those places tend to blare music loudly through the night, until 2-3 AM. Even with the windows closed you can still hear it. The walls are pretty thin, noise from the other rooms is easily heard as well. So if you're looking for a quiet place to sleep in, this doesn't seem to fit the bill.

Good location, comfortable room, toiletries provided, friendly staff.

A little mildew in the shower, a bit noisy, couldn’t open the window for fresh air, not the most comfortable mattress.

Place is centrally located in Kadikoy, but not in the same street where the caffe or restaurants working late.so, no noise from the street.Stuff is young and very, very polite, they were eager to help, for whatever we asked for.

soundproofing in the rooms could be better, but it's not something that could ruin your experience here.

Top location, amazing hospitality, and fast service!Great and honest people work here — always ready to help with anything you need. I would always come back here!

We only stayed one night, but I can say it’s a cozy and lovely local place! David, the receptionist, is an absolute gem — warm, kind, and genuinely helpful. Amin and the other lady were also very friendly, and the owner, Onur, was always available on the phone or WhatsApp whenever we needed anything. He helped us arrange a taxi to the airport. The location couldn’t be better — just about an 8-minute walk from the port, bars, and restaurants. It’s on a quiet, clean, and local street that feels very homey. The mattress was super comfortable, and the room had a lovely, warm light. The staff speak English, and to make communication even easier, they use a translator app — which worked perfectly for everyone.

Some guests were a bit noisy past midnight.

Close to ferry and metro, excellent location. Clean. Comfortable

It can be loud, there is no soundproofing

    7AdrienPosted on: 10-12-2025

Easy check in/out. Staff available 24/7. Located close to lots of restaurants and cafes, shops.

Smaller than expected. Both the hotel itself and the rooms. Lots of street noise.

They were super friendly and great location

It was cheap, which was great, but it was a very tiny room, bed wasn’t too comfortable, and the walls were very thin

    10GeorgiiPosted on: 6-10-2025

Excellent location of the hotel!! Everything is nearby, delicious food, markets, the sea, ferries to any point and to the Princes' Islands. We liked everything very much, the room was cozy and very sunny!

    Everything was fine ?

    9AlexanderPosted on: 6-2-2025

The hotel is cozy, comfortable, nice small kitchen area with several tables where you can make and have your own meal and enjoy the free tea and coffee offered by the staff. The staff is exceptional, they really genuinely want to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, and very industrious. The owner is a great guy, speaks perfect English and ensures you have a great stay.

If only that you may sometimes hear your neighbors if they do something loud or an occasional door slam. Didn't bother us, the neighbors were all good and we had no problems.

Went last month. Perfect location, close to public transports and vibrant locality. Room was neat and clean. Clean bathroom with all amenities ✨✨ But the best thing was the staff!! So friendly and welcoming. Had a great time chatting with brother Dawood and a lovely lady who even shared her food with us but unfortunately we didn’t catch her name ❤️ Will be staying there if we ever visit again.

It would be nicer if the rooms were a little bigger and better ventilated.

Great location for exploring Asian side of Istanbul.5 minutes to the stop of bus transfer to both airports.

Stairs are quite steep. You have to be very careful going down.

The room was cute and clean, the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the location is great and within walking distance to the bus station, the ferry docks, the metro and a train station.

I had a wonderful stay at Dimora. The location was perfect. It was close to the metro station, bus station boat, dock, restaurants, bars, pubs, etc. While being a walking distance to everywhere, its street was not loud at all.The room and bathroom were clean and spacious enough. The staff was great. Special thanks to Davut who was attentive to everything and kind.
