Friendly staff, good food, and ideal location.

Everything was great, the location, the room, the service and especially the breakfast.10 min walk to the most important landmarks in Istanbul.The room was cleaned every day and the snacks very good.The traditional turkis breakfast was the best.

Amazing location in the heart of the city. The hotel Smells good, amazing staff, upgraded us to a larger room for free. The robes are really soft and the rooms super cozy. They also allowed late check out.

This is a small charming hotel located in a short walking distance to all historical sites one needs to visit as a tourist in Istanbul. There are many restaurants and shops in the area. The hotel feels traditional with authentic architecture and furnishings yet has all the modern features. Our room was spacious and very clean. The traditional Turkish breakfast is excellent and it is served by very helpful and attentive staff. Every afternoon different snacks and pastries are served in the room, which is a nice touch.The hotel manager, Azer, is very friendly and attentive to the needs of the guests.

Proximity to many significant historical sights The neighborhood had great resraurants. The hotel had a wonderful staff especially azar who took care to make sure our stay was perfect. Delicious large breakfast included.

Room sound proofing could be improved.

Quiet location, easy 7 min walk to the top historic sites (Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace), excellent hearty breakfast every AM, comfortable beds and rooms, very helpful staff. Wonderful value. Would stay again!

Location, clean, amazing staff

Not much

The staff was very kind and will try to help you with everything. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh. The location is central and in a quiet corner away from street noise, but also walkable to everything.

The Wi-Fi worked for about 3 hours over the course of our 4-day stay, The staff kept giving excuses, but not having Wi-Fi to rely on was disappointing and frustrating, especially at the price point for the hotel. There were a couple of light bulbs burnt out in our room. And the breakfast service was relatively slow, and not they don't have enough tables for all the guests so you had to wait if the room was full. And do not ask the hotel to provide you with a taxi/ride to the airport; their service was ridiculously more expensive than getting an Uber/taxi. The hotel ride was going to cost 8200 liras and the Uber/taxi was 2500 liras.

The staff was amazing and they did the best to accommodate us, they even upgraded the room at no extra charge. The breakfast was delicious and a huge variety of dishes to complement the meal. Property is walking distance from the main attractions

The noise from the other guests…We had the lower floor bedroom next to the dining room and the noise from guest walking up and down the stairs, talking, dragging suitcases and chairs can wake you up if you are a light sleeper. This is NOT THE HOTELS FAULT.

From start to finish, our stay at this quaint boutique hotel was perfect. Azer welcomed us and continued to delight us during our stay with his friendly and impeccable service. The location is perfect a mere 5-10 min walk to the great historical and religious sites of Old Town Istanbul. Super easy to navigate all over the city and take in the whole town. The Turkish breakfast was added bonus to start our day. A lot of food! Breads, pancakes, eggs, with all the side toppings—cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, jams—served with classic Turkish coffee or tea.

Azer is an exceptional host; one can see he really cares about his guests having a wonderful stay, so thank you! The hotel is located a stone's throw from Sultanahmet Square so you'll be close to all the main attractions (the Havaist airport shuttle stops there, and the Arasta Bazaar is nearby, which is not overpacked). The room we had was spacious and clean (pics didn't lie), with A/C and blackout curtains – much appreciated. Yes, the building is not soundproof but they provide earplugs (I used mine and heard nothing). Every afternoon we looked forward to the sweet treats – they were exactly what one needs after a day of exploring, to keep sane until dinner. And they surprised us with extra cake on my partner's birthday!

We had booked a room with a private hammam but the stone slab is not warmed in the summer, which was a real pity (as this is not mentioned anywhere), so just be aware. However, on checkout Azer waived our breakfast cappuccino bill to make up for this. As to breakfast, it is delicious but does not vary so on day four I was already a bit tired of having the same spread in front of me. Lastly, I always judge hotels based on the availability of hair conditioner in the bathroom, and it was not provided this time.
