    Pros +

    • The location, view of the Bosporus, Breakfast room
    • The breakfast was first rate. We requested help from the staff and they complied right away. The bathroom had ample supplies.
    • We loved this hotel so much, very old building and amazing view very beautiful and very polite and helpful staff, our room was clean but the best part was sitting outside for the breakfast! we were invited for wedding there and it was amazing

    Cons -

    • The only ventilation in the room, was to an internal courtyard l, where one night there was a noisy event, and people were smoking . Way too far from Istanbul
    • The room was narrow with only one bedside nightstand.
    • The smell of smoking in corridors, the carpet was a bit out dated old and this beautiful building needs attention and more renovation because everything looks a bit aged specially in the bathroom

    Clean spacious rooms

The rooms are old so is the bathroom. The bathtub is too high and i don't see the point of keeping it like so. A walkin shower will be better

The staff were all fantastic and very friendly. Many spoke English. When we mentioned concerns with our room(s) they moved us with no hesitation. The communal areas of the hotel are amazing, traditional / old style.Nice view of the Bosphorus from the dining/breakfast area.Great public transport links, but away from the busy centre of Istanbul. Friendly local shops and cafe's etc.

The air-con was not working and our room only had an internal facing window, making it very warm, 28C. On the second night we were moved to another room with windows to the street, but the room was tiny. On the third night we were moved to a reasonable size room with windows to the street. The rooms were clean (daily room service) but the decor was in need of updating/refreshing. It seemed like they were in the process of decorating some of the rooms, probably in readiness for the summer season.

Fuat Paşa is one of the few hotels along the upper Bosphorus and is a historic building so liked those aspects.

Not worth paying extra for sea-view room since it's across the main coast road and you need earplugs to sleep through the noise. My room was also pretty small and had silly chair that made getting round it harder. Pillows were like rocks. Breakfast was pretty poor for price I'd paid in a country that prides itself on good breakfasts.

Such a beautiful and opulent hotel. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Clean and comfortable.

In Room 113 the internet service was weak. However, it was lovely to sit in their comfortable lounge and use the internet there with a turkish tea.

Noisy, hot, breakfast menu almost the same daily.

Our room’s window open to the inner portion of the hotel so it’s hot and the lights shine into our room. Hotel held weddings and functions almost daily so it was noisy since we had to keep the windows opened for ventilation otherwise it would be hot. Hotel wanted us to pay extra to get another room.

Staff were faultless, very friendly and helpful. Full marks there. The bed was a good size and comfortable - pillows less so (but see below). The hotel location is fantastic - right on the northern waterfront of the Bosporus with fantastic views of same and the ability to walk for miles.

breakfast. Was rudimentary, some cheeses, meats, bread rolls. Not particularly appetising. The room itself had no functioning air conditioning (I was told its seasonal) or a window that allowed any fresh air to circulate (it looked out on to a central space in the hotel). As a result the room was like an oven night and day and very uncomfortable to sleep in - I could only change room with expensive upgrade. The bed in room was a good size but took up almost the complete floor area of same, making it almost impossible to move around. Room wi-fi was of a very poor quality - it dropped in and out constantly throughout my stay. It was marginally better down in the lobby but incapable of allowing streaming of content.

Fouad Pasha Hotel is the best hotel in Istanbul The hotel is very clean, the restaurant is wonderful, and the view is very beautiful The best thing about the hotel is the staff, all of them are helpful, cheerful, and welcoming, and their behavior is wonderful and very quick

    It is goo location

Rooms very small and not comfortable and the staff refused late check out (our flight was midnight)

    9MonirPosted on: 9-27-2024

The location is so romantic and quiet

-The internet is always discounting and unstable.-The breakfast needs more variety.

Very very nice. Wait staff was very professional. Restaurants in the hotel were lovely. Beautiful hotel. Marble throughout. Loved the hotel.

Air conditioning could be much better. That was a big issue for us. Each room was given only one key to open the door. Other than that, it was a very nice hotel.

    7AngelaPosted on: 9-7-2024

Loved the balcony and the view

Pool was dirty and ladders in pool broke so had wait over 1 hour to be sorted Also not much choice for breakfast

    10NataliiaPosted on: 8-6-2024

Breakfast is quite good. There are not so many options, but the quality is really high, and you will get all that you need. There is a nice terrace where you can have a cup of tea or coffee.

Definitely, tea for guests should be free. The pool is small, and the water is cold. It is more decorative.

    Clean, beautiful view, excellent restaurant

Breakfast was not satisfying… portions were small, not much variety…fruit didn’t taste good

A beautiful hotel, with staff that provide excellent customer service. Nothing was too much trouble.

The location, because it was only me and my 20 year old granddaughter there isn't much about the local area, although we were able to get the ferry and visit other parts of Istanbul.

    6SamirPosted on: 7-2-2024

    Pleasant

The internet is very weak, it was impossible to communicate. Breakfast is poor, the variety is very small for a 4-star hotel

    6IremPosted on: 6-17-2024

Staff is friendly and helpful all the time, everyone from front desk to kitchen

The experience is nothing close to staying in a special Bosphorus house, they opened the pool and the outdoor area for breakfast only on our last 2 days, rooms have no view unless it’s vip and there isn’t even a proper tv or kettle in the room. It’s just a basic old small room for the sake of staying near Bosphorus.

    2NataliPosted on: 6-6-2024

The location was ok, different restaurants in the area.

Service was extremely poor. My airco wasn't working and even after asking multiple times they simply did not solve my issue (I barely slept the 2 night as I had 27 degrees in my room) but kept gaslighting me and saying that everything was working even if it wasn't. This was the worst stay I ever had in a hotel and I travel a lot. Also there was no window to air the Room- the window was looking internally. I asked to change the Room and they just kept saying everything was working. Terrible!
