TAKS-INN Hotel

The hotel was spacious and near Taksim Square. There were a lot of food choices nearby. Receptionist provided excellent customer service - every time we messaged him for assistance, he was very prompt and helped us right away! Would recommend!

Hotel including facilities were old and required immediate renovation. Room furnitures are old with stains and tears everywhere. Doors handles are broken with holes, towels are not so clean, no hand tissues in the room. Breakfast is so basic with zero varieties, coffee and juice had no taste. Noisy and malfunction elevator. The hotel is best described as a 2 stars hotel, clearly not 4! The only positive thing was that the receptionist Mr. Mohammad has agreed (upon asking) a late check out till 1:00 pm instead of 12:00pm given that i have checked in at 8:00pm. Also, be aware that if you loose the room card there will be an extra charge of 40 Euro!!!

"The staff were lovely and attentive. The location was great—very close to Taksim Square, yet in a quiet area. We were able to check in early, which was much appreciated. They also kindly stored our luggage after check-out."

The cleanliness was disappointing. We requested multiple times for the room to be tidied up, but it didn’t improve. The Wi-Fi connection was very poor and only worked in the reception area. The bathroom was outdated, and the breakfast options were limited with very few choices.

Overall the stay was good. good location, staff were helpful and room was spacious enough for 3 people.

Very bad and rude staff

I only give this hotel one star because the hotel is to blame for our trip being ruined. The hotel room window could not be closed, and we asked for assistance to be able to close the window, the reception asked us to leave the hotel room so that a repairman could come to look at the window. While we were out, the hotel repairman had opened our suitcases and stole 200 dollars and 4700 liras from our suitcase. When we went to the reception and reported the theft, they did not even ask the repairman about the incident, but blamed our friend because she must have stolen your money. They also said that it is your own fault for not using the safety deposit box.We did not get any apology that this had happened in their hotel. They blamed our friend for the theft. We went to the police and filed a complaint with the police.

We stay for couple of days here. Everything was perfect. Location, staff, cleanliness, specially room service. Very hard working and trustworthy.

I think there is room to improvement specially Breakfast. I am sure they can do this easily which will be cherry on top.

The location was good. The breakfast was basic but good.

The cleaning team not too much the bathroom still dirty every time she try to clean.

The rooms are not sound proof. A small slim hotel the rooms are clustered around the elevator . At night the noise from the elevator and the rooms keep one awake . Very noisy .

I liked the location

The cigarette smell. Carpets could do with a DEEP clean to get rid of the smell of smoke. Also breakfast was not great, which I’ve found to be the case in many Turkish hotels. No bread variety but plenty of cheese and olives. No cereal for kids or granola and yoghurt for those who prefer to eat something cold. The spa also smells abit funky! Also it’s worth adding that the windows open fully so if you’re travelling with children be very careful as anyone could easily fall out! We were on the 7th floor and could easily fall out its actually scary! Even for a grown adult the window is literally a death trap, they don’t have any safety mechanisms on the windows so when I say they open fully, they OPEN fully.

When we arrived at the hotel, the hotel reception offered us a suite on the 8th floor of the hotel instead of the 3-bed room we had booked, which was really great. The facilities of the hotel were very limited and quite old. The treatment of the staff (except the breakfast time staff) was very friendly and they tried to help.

Rather basic accommodations for a supposedly 4 star hotel. Breakfast was average and not being replenished efficiently.

This is our second time in this hotel in 2024. The Hotel has a very good location, very clean, and the staff is the best, spacially Serai KAZIM who deserves 10 points.

Overall the room was good but I did not find it comfortable

The room had a very hot Air conditioning system running which was by default locked at Hot I was trying to change it to cold but it was locked. Secondly, the system was creating suffocation that was in reality not pleasant for us to stay.As far as the housekeeping is concerned they did not change the towels but staff kept them again to reuse. This was a bit disgusting. We kept used cups that were not garbage and were the way it is. Lastly, on breakfast, I found the staff was not entertaining. At the time I asked them to refill they said sorry it's finished it was 9 am and breakfast time was still not finished.

Staff are very nice and helpful, rooms are very clean and close to taksim square and metro station.

The hotel is wonderful, very clean, location is wonderful. Staff was very friendly, specially sezayi, Aziz, kadir and kazim. Sezayi is very helpful thank you for everything, this hote is my favorite in istanbul
