Pros +
- Location
- Rooms are small, but on par with all properties in this price range in Istanbul. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was the standard bread, cheese and olives, but had some nice extras. The property is very well situated for the Asian side of Istanbul with Old Town, the harbour and public transport all within just a few steps.
- Location was amazing very close 5 min to port and to Metro
Cons -
- No English TV channels on the tv
- Dirty, not always enough hot water for the bath, not enough storage space for basic things, towels in terrible condition, the rooms are old and broken, the room has a very small window, ants are running in the bathroom, wi-fi falls off all the time, they leave adverts for some gold exchange offices in the room, every once in a while they forget to give out a set of towels.
- It is beyond basic: not even a plug to charge phones. It was full of insects and I got horribly bitten during the night. The staff was inefficient and didn’t even share any information about breakfast hours (the buffet was really poor anyway).

It was in a quiet street in Kadikoy quite close to the port.

I am deeply disappointed with the receptionist, Parish, at this hotel. He was unwelcoming and completely uncooperative. In fact, he is one of the worst receptionists I have encountered in my life. This is the second (and definitely the last) time I am staying at this hotel, and unfortunately, the same behavior from this employee was evident again.
Excellent locationRoom clean
The lift was very noisy. Whenever someone used it during the night I was disturbed .
I like only the interior room design, except the door because there’s a gap that I can hear everything when people walking and closing their doors, and the sounds of the elevator, I can hear every single thing very uncomfortable. And even the shower doesn’t have a glass partition when taking a shower all the waters are flowing and getting wet the whole bathroom floor.
I had a very disappointing experience at Emirtimes Hotel. I specifically requested a high-floor room but was given one on the 2nd floor. I also requested a quiet room, yet I could hear people speaking from downstairs, as the rooms are not soundproof at all.Additionally, I asked for a non-smoking room, but there was already an ashtray inside, which was very frustrating. The bed was extremely uncomfortable—too hard, with noisy old springs that made it difficult to sleep. On top of that, the AC wasn’t working, forcing me to open the window just to get some cool air. When I raised these concerns with the reception, they told me there were no available rooms, yet when I checked Booking.com and Agoda, it still showed availability. This felt dishonest and unhelpful. The worst part was discovering bedbugs in the bed. I couldn’t sleep the entire night, constantly worried about them. For a hotel rated 4 stars, this experience was completely unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here.
Good breakfast, the room quite big and comfortable bed. 7-10 min walking from ferry station and metro station.
Great location, gentle staff and good breakfast options.
Some threadbare towels
Hotel is in a great location. easy access to a lot of things and close to public transport
The hotel was dated and could do with being updated.
“stayed at emirtimes hotel kadikoy for a couple nights n it was honestly better than i thought. room was clean and comfy, bathroom also good. staff was nice, they helped me with whatever i needed. location is fire, easy to go anywhere in istanbul. only thing is wifi was a bit slow sometimes but not a big deal. for the price u pay, its 100% worth it. would def stay again.
the staff was great.they trying to help almost everything. we stayed with my fiancée. it is a family hotel.there is some maintenance going on but it is not really distrubing.they not do maintenance at nights or early in the morning so not a big deal.every staff was greeting us whenever they see us very helpful and smiley faces. we loved the staff. they making new rooms due to maintenance and they try to remake the rooms.our room was new everything worked perfectly.cleaning lady was so kind and she worked hard to clean everywhere.receptionists are really became our tourist guide ?. emirs english translation skill was saved us literally.he speaks like a native speaker.even the manager was great we wanted to switch to a bigger room and they were like of course.location is great you can travel everywhere eaisly lots of transportation possibilities. it was great we will visit again !
for this price there should be nothing to not like.
It was very close to the town and metro station. Breakfast was good but I feel they could add more varieties to their breakfast.
The hotel was undergoing renovations and water supply was being cut without notifying their customers. I don’t think they believe in providing good customer service as long as they get their money. I had to face water cut 3 days and had to call them each time it happened. Additionally I sent message to the hotel that I will need to extend my check out timing to 3pm because my return flight was later in the evening. I was messaged back it can be done but after I checked in they said I will need to ask them on the day of my checkout and shockingly they denied my request and said they were full. This is clearly not a customer friendly hotel
location, breakfast
A bag with sneakers was stolen from the room, staff didn't know how their security cameras work to check it, smell of smoke in the room, window didn't close properly that's why it was cold, no soundproofing, broken fridge, no second key from room, old and dirty bathroom
Location, breakfast amd room.
Location and price is great
Everywhere smells like cigarettes all the time including rooms and corridors. Do not come here if you don't smoke.
location is very centric, room is prestine and clean, amazing breakfast
the staff not very welcoming, abrupt and commanding
The staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble, breakfast was good. This hotel is in an excellent location, slightly away from the centre, but equally near enough to all amenities.
