Hotel Momento - Special Category

Our room never cooled below 26°C. We asked to change rooms and we were on the second day placed in two new rooms that each had the same problem. I made an appointment to speak with General Manager, and she denied there was an air-conditioning problem.

We were told repeatedly that the AC would cool the room, but it never met our expectations. The carpets are extremely stained. Smoke is in the ventilation system. The breakfast buffet is incredibly good. The wait staff are friendly and attentive.

They are always helpful,always ready to help with early check-in and even invite me to go for breakfast.had even booked one extra night by mistake and agreed to reimburse us.

It was a good experience staying in this hotel. WiFi was good, Breakfast was very nice. Cleanliness, Comfort all good.

It is a very nice hotel ! Great hospitality , very clean , great staff and great breakfast . Everything was just perfect !! I am sure that i will return in the near future !

We had a very bad time at the hotel, the staff is very bad, a friend came to see the room they did not allow me to do this, I ordered Turkish coffee it was 11:48 but they brought me someone else's bill that was on the bill and two other coffees that I did not have those the bills they brought me was a bill printed at 11:09. On 29.01.2025 the receptionist who was working at 01:00 had very bad behavior. There is nothing good in this hotel except that it is in a good place.

The hotel is close to important sights, you can walk to them, the breakfast was excellent as was the hotel staff.The room is comfortable, towels are changed and beds are made every day which is great.

We have been going to this particular hotel for several years. It is spotlessly clean, has an excellent location, you are close to all the sights, the metro and across from Kapali Charsi, the staff is always willing to help you with everything. All of them are excellent (especially Messrs. Elvan and Nail) I consider them my family because due to professional obligations my husband and I are there 4 days a month. I highly recommend it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at "Hotel Momento - Special Category", and I couldn't have been more impressed! The location is absolutely perfect, it was easy to explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and shops, all within walking distance.The breakfast was another highlight. It set a great tone for each day of my stay!What truly made the experience memorable, however, was the staff. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and at ease. It’s clear that they genuinely care about their guests and are dedicated to making each stay as comfortable as possible.Overall, I highly recommend "Hotel Momento - Special Category" for its unbeatable location, incredible breakfast

Everything was great, professional staff and very kind, spacious and clean rooms, location os great as well, just a walking distance to go to all major attractions, metro is close, a wonderful breakfast is served everyday, we loved our stay there

Loved how attentive the staff at front desk were. Especially Nail who helped us walk to the next hotel to pick up an expat tour. The main man sitting at the desk whose name I cannot spell was so lovely he booked tours for us and could not do enough for us. Another man with white shirt showed us were to get men's haircut from. Overall was sad to leave and would love to come back to stay again ?

It was a great hotel! Thank you for your welcome, your kindness and your professionalism! Special thanks to Burak who was very kind and helped us book different things. It is a very clean hotel, the cleaning was done every day, the room was superb and large! As for the breakfast, it was varied to suit everyone. The hotel is very well located, close to the Grand Bazaar and tourist places. Thank you for this stay, I recommend it !

The location is in the old city, Sultanahmet, close to all tourist attractions.

A bit difficult to arrive at hotel; blocked streets, high traffic in the area...

We had a lovely stay. The staff were so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent, the coffee was good, the room was lovely. They made us feel very welcome.

The location was perfect. Comfortable walking distance to most major city sights. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was small but very comfortable and we really appreciated the cute balcony for drying washing and the kettle in our room for making tea and coffee.

Cleaning the room, some staff attitude specifically during breakfast service, two much noise no privacy u can hear next room easily and noise in the corridors, breakfast not changed for 8 days.

The room was very spacious and great welcome fruit basket. Staff very helpful and friendly. Offered good advice on local area.

The street noise but that's not within control of the hotel. Need bigger cups so can enjoy the coffee more ?I booked a smaller room via the hotel for 3 extra nights, smaller room had no air conditioner control but they did accommodate when I wanted the temperature changed

This is my second time staying at Hotel Momento over the course of 9 years. The staff is always professional, quick with service and ready to help. I'll happily stay again the next time I'm in Istanbul.

Nothing I didn't like! One word of caution for less adventurous tourists, the hotel breakfast is more of a traditional Turkish breakfast than a Western style or Continental breakfast so if you want bacon and sausage, look elsewhere. That said, the Turkish breakfast is delightful so please give it a try!

Our room was spacious, very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We will stay there again.
