Rooms Galata

Friendly staff, and super helpful! Very large and spacious room and excellent walking location to restaurants, shopping, and pubs!

The location

Small and lack of light in the room. It was dark inside.

Location

Not clean, many things are broken

Room was large. Bathroom excellent, good water pressure and hot water on demand. Hotel was 5 mins to Galata Tower and 10 mins to Istikal. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooftop seating area had great views of the Bosphorus.

We had a double room with terrace. The only problem was there was no view only the stone wall of bldg next door.

Good location, helpful personnel rooms clean and good as well.

I had one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had at this property. We had to change rooms three times due to serious issues. The shower faucet was broken, the AC did not work properly, and overall, the service was extremely poor. The bathroom was dirty and clearly not cleaned to acceptable standards. It felt uncomfortable and unhygienic. In addition to that, the location is on a steep hill, which makes access difficult and exhausting, especially with luggage. This hotel was far below expectations, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, or well-managed place to stay.

The staff were very courteous and accommodating, even flexible with my dates after booking. The rooms were clean, cozy, and uniquely decorated—especially the one with the balcony, which was a highlight. Located in a safe, friendly neighborhood and close to everything a tourist would want to explore in Istanbul. Highly recommend!

Staff was very helpful. Location good.

Cleanliness of room, seemed like they did the bare minimum. Problems with outlets and the toilet made sounds all night. Very noisy both from the outside (even with the windows closed) and next door rooms/hallway.

Quite dirty, many elements of rooms need renovation. Nice concept but execution was failed. However, good value for money.

The stuff was really kind, the rooms spacious and some of them have balcony. Also the Galata area is great, just be prepared to climb the hills :)

Everything was fine

It's like an ancient building brimming with vibrant memories. The rooftop view is simply breathtaking, offering a perspective that inspires endless appreciation.

The property has a lot of potential, but it could benefit from some updates. A few areas, particularly where the walls have cracks, would really enhance the overall experience. Additionally, we noticed the TV remote was missing batteries, which prevented us from enjoying TV during our stay. It would be helpful to have a system in place for guests to request items like batteries more easily. Overall, with some minor improvements, this place could be even more enjoyable!

The room was very beautiful, well decorated, very clean and nice place to stay Also the location is perfect and easy to access metro and other transportationsAlso the front desk people were very nice specially Mr.kamaran was very helpful and nice I would totally recommend this place

The location was so perfect. Was right off the main shopping street, but so peaceful and serene. Only a few minutes walk to galata tower. I was able to walk to Hagia Sofia, blue mosque, grand bizarre and all the major sites. Close to everything! The staff, especially Kamron, were very helpful and accommodating! The room itself was beautiful and every room is unique. Would 10/10 recommend and will definitely stay here again!

Big room, clean. Friendly host.Good view, perfect location

Size of the room is big. location is good

Day 2 hot water was not working in the morning.

Great Location, Great Staff and good value for money. Free water bottles provided in the fridge for all guests. Staff couldnt be more helpful,

Our electrics kept switching off so Galata Rooms couldnt be more helpful in swapping rooms for us to a slightly bigger one. Only issue with this one was the Toilet kept running all night so could hear it every now and then but was not a huge issue at all

Ideal location of the hotel, there is an elevator and air conditioning, polite staff. It is convenient to get to Istiklal and go down to the tram on foot. We really enjoyed staying here, we will advise our friends

The shower hoses were leaking, the drain did not work well

excellent room and location

light in bathroom didn’t work and toilet seat was cracked

Great location and full of character, each room is very different and things like original brickwork give the place so much personality. It's quiet, away from noisy bars and restaurants, and there's some great little cafés and shops nearby.

A few things need fixing, but nothing major.

Location is great! And the huge terrace we had in a room was over our expectations

The did nt provide you with the key from the building entrance and sometimes the receptionist was sleeping so it was difficult to get in
