I recently stayed at the Sheraton Esenyurt and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing.First of all, there was no mirror in the room. When I called and asked for one, and asked why a hotel room wouldn’t have a mirror, they told me that “my booking doesn’t include a mirror.” I honestly don’t understand how a hotel room can come without a basic item like a mirror, except for the one inside the bathroom. This was very inconvenient.Secondly, I requested an extension for one more night and specifically asked to stay in the same room. The man at the reception was extremely rude, unprofessional, and had a very bad attitude. He refused to let me stay in the same room for just one night, and while I was speaking to him he suddenly ended the call on me. When I asked for his name, he hung up the phone in my face. This behavior is completely unacceptable from a hotel under the Sheraton brand.However, I would like to thank the Guest Relations Manager, Ms. Bus (B.U.S), who sincerely apologized and handled my complaint professionally.I also want to thank Hussein from the bellman team for his help and kindness.And finally, my thanks to Erdem, who I believe is one of the managers, for trying to apologize on behalf of the receptionist with the bad attitude whose name I was never given. His professionalism was appreciated.

something that was interesting for me , was the manner and the behavior of the staff that has improved a lot. I do come to this hotel very often and I am witnessing the tangible maturity improvement of the staff .specially the reception desk staff ( Mr. Onur among those) and security staff and even the Bell boys(Mr. Hoseyin as a sample) impressed me a lot. finally as usual Ms. Buse continuous presence and her warm welcoming to the guests and taking care of their requirements is quite outstanding.

I did not find anything missing .

Clean hotel and great stuff, parking included. Cozy to stay in.

A little bit far from center and touristic area. Is good to have your own car to move around

The hotel was excellent, clean and luxurious. The staff was extremely polite and helpful and tried very hard to provide a good stay for me and my two children. They easily upgraded our room. A gentleman named Gokay was very respectful and compassionate and guided me and provided excellent conditions for our booking. I thank him very much and hope to see you again in your city.tanks gokay???

Receptionist Recep was there to just ignore what you want and tell “no” and “can not” just asked him to issue bill under company name so I can get it from my company as it was business trip. With all his negative attitude ignored and didn’t want to make and in the end he didn’t make his duty and ignored. I hope luck to all those guests who come across with him.

The taxi you are order for us today Wednesday Is very bad Yesterday we toke taxi its cost 1000Lira now its going to be 4000 naira he took us to airport after to sisli and he is screaming all timesHe is saying cus traffic He didn’t say it ll cost this much

Pathetic staff for a brand hotel

I have made reservation for 3 nights. Second day, even without staying second night I had to leave due to some emergency. However next week one more day I needed to stay in Istanbul again. So I kindly asked the receptionist if I can use that one night which I paid for and not using now for next week.He said he has to ask this to his boss and he will inform me. To this day they have not returned to me with any answer. Any answer, even no is an answer but they did not show this smallest respect to their customer.Normally I asked for an invoice and receptionist automatically said he can not give me invoice and I should ask this from Booking.com. I showed him relevant Booking.com link which is clearly written they should invoice, he again did not give me invoice and said he will talk to his boss to be sent.Today I received an email, a wrong invoice on my name. I should have given them my company details etc. I am even tired of writing these for this pathetic people. They have ruined my mood and even stolen my time. Clearly will not be going there ever.

Amazing staff and management, particularly Mr Kadir the from disk manager. We had an event and he took the extra mile to make our event move smoothly

Chlorine smell in the pool was a bit too much

I had booked a King-size room with a sofa bed at the Sheraton . There’s a price difference between rooms that have a sofa bed and those that only have a regular chair, and I paid extra specifically for the sofa bed. However, when I arrived, they gave me a room with just a regular chair. When I brought this to their attention, they simply said that the rooms with the sofa beds were all taken. This is completely unacceptable. If I paid for a specific type of room, I should get exactly what I booked. It’s not the guest’s problem if the hotel runs out of rooms; they need to manage their bookings better.

It was a Turkish breakfast so a little limited .No fresh berries ,. Strange tasting eggs . They need to invest in a new coffee machine
