Basileus Hotel

The hotel is a small boutique hotel and feel very comfortable. The staff were exceptional and provided anything we needed, from coffee, snacks, advice, etc. The location is perfect as well.

The shower area could use a bit of upgrading as there was some real wear and tear around the edges.

Conveniently located close to the major landmarks like Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and walking distance from other spots. Modest in appearance yet comfortable with free breakfast and internet. Staff is very friendly & extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

Great staff (so friendly and helpful!) Great location (walking distance from some of the key sites). Great rooms (some with balconies -- all clean). Really a wonderful experience!

Everything was great!

Staff is friendly, location is excellent.

the manager attitude was very accommodating.

The people! The staff is amazing and always ready to help with great advise. Felt like coming home every night. Thank you guys for a great experience.

The Hotel Employee was the quintessential host. Ask for the James Bond map of Istanbul.

Staff is wonderful. Got free upgrade from basement room and staff made turkish coffee to try out and many handy tourist tips. Wonderful stay

Close to the Bosphorus, Blue Mosque and Haga Sofia. Nice rooms and helpful staff.

Great location, great facilities and a great team - Farouk and the other members are very helpful for any needs you may have.

Very friendly, clean. Nice property in good location in short walking distance to historic center

Great location- walking to all attractions Excellent staff - great advice on what/whereClean, safe, quiet

No complaints

Faruk was very kind and responded promptly to any inquiries I had. He also stored my luggage for free when I was away. Thank you!

Very good licalisation. Friendly and helpful receptionist. Very good value for the money.

View from the window. But we didn't stay at the hotel during the day, thus it was not so big problem.

Very clean and very pretty. Great location and good value for the price.

WiFi didn’t work most of the time.

Location was great

We made reservations for a non smoking family room with breakfast included. We got two separate rooms instead. One of the rooms reeked of smoke, the other one didn’t have a shower door, which resulted in everything being wet. The sheets didn’t look clean, the pillows smelled bad, and there was black mold in the room. The hotel site advertised breakfast? But upon asking about breakfast location we were told that they stop serving breakfast years prior. I’ve attempted to gather information from the staff and the guy who was napping at the time seemed annoyed that we woke him up from its nap. Location was good as it was walking distance from a lot of the sites.

Property was clean and staffs were helpful 24/7

Access to view point was not there but in online it showed can access top view of hotel was bit disappointing

Excellent location for tourist sites. Competent, friendly staff, especially faruk, very helpful .

The main room heating was not working ,freezing, but they gave us electric heater

Really friendly and helpful staff. Gave us information about Istanbul when we first arrived with things to visit and see.

affordable

It could have been more cleaner, Cigar smell all over bed and pillows. As I do not like smell of cigar, it was not easy to sleep with that. Hair on bedsheets
