Hammamhane

Everything was great, we had a lovely stay at this hotel! It's located on a quieter street, but still close to a lot of cafes, a few supermarkets and transportation stops. The staff was super friendly and helpful with all our questions. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, with all the essentials provided. The Wi-Fi worked great as well. The staff were super nice, friendly, and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and the breakfast area was cozy and inviting.We also liked the location. It’s close to two public transportation options and not far from the main tourist street, yet the area itself is much less crowded, unlike the Fatih area, for example. There are also plenty of nice coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

FABULOUS + Quaint Hotel!!! Hidden on a side street away from hustle and bustle but a 5 minute walk to access everything Istanbul has to offer. The Hospitality is second to none by the staff. I have already rebooked to stay for several days on a long stopover in Istanbul.

I chose this hotel because of the location (my favorite Istanbul neighborhood), but grew to love it on its own: quirky (but in a good way); caring staff; delicious breakfast. I describe it as a hotel for people who don't like hotels, in that it has a warm welcoming feeling that is genuine. Staff takes time to assist guests with tourist, transportation and other issues. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood with narrow streets and cute little shops, not as crowded and touristy as Taksim but very vibrant. The reception staff is extremely nice and helpful. My room was in a part that you can access from inside the hotel or directly from the street. The room is spacious enough with a cute feel to it. It has a kettle, free coffee and tea. The bathroom is spacious and clean and has toiletries and slippers. The bed is comfortable and the pillows as well. The restaurant where the breakfast is served is charming and the breakfast itself is generous and varied, with different kinds of eggs preparations and fresh orange juice. The best part of it all is the hammam area that goes back to 1831. The turkish hammam is quite an experience that shouldn't be missed. The staff at the spa are also very kind and professional.

Since my room was directly on the street, it was a bit noisy specially that it was a weekend. At night you could hear dogs barking, young people shouting, and in the morning, the trash truck was very noisy as well. If ever back, I will take a room on the upper floors.

Everything was wonderful! The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. The place always felt very homey and comfortable a true home away from home.

Nothing to complain about this is my favorite hotel, and I keep coming back!

The location is wonderful , quick walk to many restaurants and cafes and shops. Also very easy walk to the metro station Tophane stop. The room was very spacious and had a lot of amenities like laundry, a stovetop, dishes / drinkware and a microwave. The bed was comfortable and there was easy access to a closet with more things should you need them (extra towels, soap, etc.)

Staff at front desk were so helpful with directions, activities and restaurants. Also, the included breakfast was excellent.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast every morning was really good. The hotel is located on a quiet street, so there was no noise at night.

I never knew how to enter breakfast. The washer/dryer in the room drove me crazy (staff helped with that though - and I don’t have experience with that kind of machine).

Great staff. Helped us with how to get around the city. Loaned us a Tram card. Taught us a bit about the turkish language. The room was large with a living room, bedroom, kitchen, washer dryer (we needed it). All of it was clean and nice.Breakfast is over the top great. In a very nice room, Great Turkish Bath on premises. Stayed for 5 days and we will recommend to family and friends.

Beautiful structure near cute shops, cafes, great restaurants and public transport. The breakfast was unbelievably good, delicious and varied. Probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had in a really long time. Staff was friendly and helpful and made our stay the best it could have been. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Istanbul.

As we drove through the side streets at night, we wondered where we were going BUT we found an amazing hotel waiting for us . The staff were fantastic and really accommodating , the breakfast was more than enough to set us up for the very. Its days and the rooms with balconies, kitchens and living rooms were just perfect.

I have traveled quite a bit and this was by far my favorite place ever. I wholeheartedly recommend Hammamhane for a wonderful stay, comfortable beds, and a fantastic breakfast! The staff went out of their way to create a special experience for every individual. I think that effort really made the difference between a great stay and an exceptional stay!

This is our home in Istanbul. Having tried many places, I can vouch that this is the most comfortable, hospitable, friendly place with a perfect location. As everywhere, the big difference is the people, who work here: not just polite, but genuinely motivated to make each guest feel at home. Add to this: most comfortable beds and pillows, appliances that are often better than the ones in your own home, splendid breakfasts and the charm of cat and people life of true old Istanbul streets around you.
