Cronton Design Hotel

Location is perfect for site seeing. Walking distance to major sites and easy access to trains/ferries. Staff was very friendly. Ali was an especially great host. There was also another gentleman who helped carry all our bags in the rain smiling!

Excellent location and great staff.

First of all, I would like you to know that I feel very lucky to have chosen this hotel.When I arrived at the hotel, I was greeted by two wonderfully smiling faces, Mr Memduh and Mr Emre. I would like to thank you both very much for making my holiday perfect.When I arrived at the hotel, I was feeling a bit under the weather due to the cold weather, but my wife and I were served fresh hot fruit teas. They upgraded our room free of charge. If the world is still standing, it will be thanks to these two wonderful people. Stay well, and we will definitely return to this hotel for you.

Bathroom, however water was switching alone between cold and warm

Below expectations by far, looks like a palace in the pictures, while in reality is very old

Excellent staff with friendly service, everyone went above and beyond to be helpful. Our room was well furnished and had one of the best rainfall showers I’ve had anywhere in the world!

Location is near the spice bazar, which is great for shopping but can be a little chaotic when you step out the door to get your bearings

The breakfast was included, the choice was wide, cuisines from multiple countries, and the quality was sensational. The location was central in the old town, short walk to many bars and restaurants, and main attractions Special shout out to Valeria on reception, she was an absolute joy

I would have loved a Juliet balcony, the room felt a little claustrophobic. Also building work opposite added a bit of noise and wasn't a great view

The staff were very helpful, the reception was ready to assist with anything, I just can't say the same about the night staff, because they don't seem to like to smile and I called reception about a problem and they didn't answer and didn't call me back, maybe they were sleeping.

The room was cold, there was a lot of noise, the electricity went out during the night and this problem continued for 1-2 hours.

I would like to thank Mr Emre and Mr Memduh first and foremost for making this beautiful hotel and our stay in this historic district in the heart of Istanbul so incredible. They are very friendly, professional and knowledgeable people who made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely professional, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. In particular, Emre and Memduh truly stood out with their exceptional service. They were very kind, helpful, and always attentive to our needs, making us feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. Their professionalism and positive attitude greatly enhanced our overall experience. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again

Location, spa and the rooftop bar.

The “king room” had no king bed. It was a queen one. Also, the staff told us a schedule for the restaurant and rooftop bar that didn’t match with the correct one. At last, the cooling function of the A/C didn’t work. The lowest possible temperature was 23 ° C.

The employees were very hospitable and kind and always kind to us. I do recommend staying here. It is a safe hotel and amazing location. Especially Can, Memduh, and Emre they were really good.

The Cronton Design Hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Beyond the stunning aesthetics, the staff were incredibly professional and kind throughout our entire stay. They consistently went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended! A 5 stars to Can and Elin

Great location, but poor climate control and unprofessional checkout experience​I have mixed feelings about our stay. On the positive side, the location is excellent and very convenient for exploring Istanbul. However, considering the high cost, the room and amenities were very ordinary. I have stayed in several other hotels in Istanbul that offered much better facilities and comfort at a lower price point; this stay simply was not worth the price.

​The most uncomfortable part of the stay was the temperature control. The windows were drafty, letting in a constant stream of cold air. When we turned the AC on to compensate, the room quickly became like a sauna. There was no way to find a comfortable balance for a good night's sleep.​Finally, the checkout experience was highly unprofessional. While the staff were nice and friendly during our stay, one staff member pressured us at the end to give a 10/10 rating. He asked to see my phone, opened my booking, and insisted I rate everything a 10 in front of him. This felt dishonest and manipulative. We prefer to provide honest feedback based on our actual experience, not under pressure at the checkout time.

Disappointing

I'm writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with my recent stay at your hotel. On ( 12.12.2025 ) , I stayed in room ( 502 ) and unfortunately, I was a victim of theft. The amount of 2500 SAR was stolen from my room.I demand a full investigation and compensation for my loss.* I've traveled a lot and all my bookings were through Booking.com, and this is the first time I've received such a high Booking.com rating for this hotel; it was u

Not much / was truly impressed

Very nice hotel in the middle of the historical city, close to every key location. Friendly and helpful staff.

The location was close to various areas like the grand bazar and train

It was very loud due to construction outside! We wanted the AC on and it was turned off multiple time leading to no sleep. We had to call multiple time due to the electricity going out. Once I was in the shower and the lights went out . We had a family with a child next door and we heard the baby cry all night

The location, Staff (special thanks to Emre he was very professional, gentle, supportive with big smile & kind attitude) also have nice caffee and unique interior design.

I was on the 2nd floor so I could hear the noises from the street also the windows need to be fixed as the air was coming through them. Luckily there is AC and I turned it on 27 C and that helped. Finally, in my opening the price is over estimated
