The staff were very friendly and helpful — special thanks to Mr. Adnan and Mr. Akram for their warm hospitality. The location is convenient and the overall experience matches expectations for a 3-star hotel.

One of the rooms I booked had a strong unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, likely due to a plumbing or infrastructure issue. Thankfully, other room did not have this problem.

The hotel was certainly really good 20 years ago.Nowadays: old furniture, dead power sources in the room, tired elevator The key card controls the electricity in the rooms (including fridge and aircon).. When you are not there, these ones just do not work.The reception is reluctant in providing a second key.

The hotel is near the tram station which made commuting easy. The staff were friendly and supportive specially Adnan he never hesitated to assist the guests and always with a smile.

The only minor issue we noticed was that during strong winds, there was a noticeable noise in the corridor, as if part of the roof was lifting or shaking. It didn’t affect our stay too much, but it was a bit surprising.

Breakfast was, to put it mildly, poor. Over the course of seven days, the options included fried and boiled eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, a few types of cheese, strange butter and even stranger honey, cereal, and coffee. The hotel is old and everything is worn out. Cleanliness is below acceptable standards. The hotel is in urgent need of a complete overhaul and renovation. The price they charge for what they offer is far too high.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Green Anka Hotel . As soon  we arrived, were greeted with warm and friendly service. The check-in process was very smooth, and the staff were incredibly helpful, offering great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. Really greatful to Adnan to keep ours luggage extra hours and booked taxi to airport. The room was spotless, well-furnished, and had all the amenities we need. The on-site restaurant served delicious breakfast every morning with excellent selection of food. The location is perfect—close to everything  we want to see , train station is only two mins walking distance. we had really  enjoyed our stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

The mattress was too soft for me, but other than that it was ok considering I stayed 1 night it didn't bother me too much.

We will definitely book this hotel again on our next visit to Istanbul! The hotel is very centrally located, with a tram station nearby, and you can easily get a taxi right outside. This was our top priority. Bayezit/Sirkeci/Eminönü/Sultanahmet, where the main attractions are located, are easily accessible by tram. Therefore, 10/10. We enjoyed the breakfast, and the hotel was clean. On Fridays, there is a bazaar just a few meters away. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Everything was beautiful and quiet and the staff were very kind. The place is clean and they care about the comfort of the guests in the hotel. Believe me, it was the best stay I had in Istanbul at this hotel. I advise you to visit it.

It’s just steps from the T1 tram line, which conveniently connects to major landmarks like the Old Bazaar, Eminönü, Galata Tower, Aksaray, and the Spice Market, as well as multiple bus routes offering easy access to other parts of the city. A major plus is the free parking, a rare and valuable amenity for those traveling by car.Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and we’ll certainly return. Highly recommended for all travelers!

Location and hotel lobby was good but the rooms were terrible!old pictures of the rooms on hotel website which are very misleading!

Room cleanliness was miserable, door lock was not working and was not fixed during our stay.Dirty rundown bathrooms, could not think of taking a shower even!No hooks in bathroom to hang towel or clothes.
