Galata Rasso Hotel

The location was right next block to Galata tower with all restrts just few steps away. The staff was exceptionally helpful and did everything to make sure our stay was enjoyable.We initially booked this hotel just for 2 nights but ended up staying 5 days

None. When we got there the AC wasn¿t working properly in our room but then they gave up a different room with an upgrade so no complaints.

Great. Easy to find, a block from Galata Tower. Staff most helpful, allowed storage of luggage prior to check in. Not far from Galataport. Manager personable and helpful, arranged low cost taxi to airport. About 14 rooms. Highly recommended.

Before I arrived, the staff at the hotel were working to ensure a smooth and pleasant stay. I had a hotel transfer arranged by the hotel complete with an instructional video of the pick-up point. I was met at the door by reception upon my arrival and was asked to sit on a lounge whilst I was checked in. Given water and offered coffee. My bags were brought to the room. Every single time I left the hotel, the reception staff would stand and bid me a nice day and welcome me back and ask if I needed anything arranged. Fresh towel, more water, coffee or a taxi. Above and beyond what I expected. The room was massive and very stylish and modern. It had a large shower separate from the toilet. Both private. It had air-conditioning, which could be adjusted by staff upon a simple phone call to the desk. The beds were comfortable. The location was right at the foot of the Galata Tower. I recommend going to the Tower pub around the corner for a pub dinner and beer. Great vibe when busy. Great food and a resident dog ?. The room also had plenty of storage, and the balcony had a view of the city. The blue mosque and Bosphorus Bridge. It exceeded my expectations, which were already quite high. I would definitely go back. Thank you for making my stay so great.

The only downfall was that my holiday had to end, and I needed to check out. Seriously though, there is no restaurant in the hotel, plenty of food around outside. The coffee is only instant. If could private pods or similar- even if at an additional cost. Maybe breakfast option would be nice too (even a continental one). But these are mere suggestions rather than complaints.

Everything was really good.

A quaint, well centered place to hide away from the busy crowds. We found Galatea Rasso to be more than adequate and surprisingly modern on the inside. Yes there was plenty of noise coming off the street but that’s the price you pay for being in the shadow of one of Istanbul's major tourist attractions. The rooms were clean and the staff ready to help. we definitely recommend this hotel for someone needing a safe central place to stay.Until next time Turkey…“Elveda”

There was some construction on the building next door to the establishment, which wasn't ideal but mostly, this did not bother us as construction was only done during the day when we were out and about, and no construction was done at night.

The staff in particularly to Ibrahim was super helpful and friendly at organising our taxi transfer(£50/55EUR) which I highly recommend too. The location is just right the next road to Galata tower, going to restaurants was super easy.

The rooms could’ve been cleaned more often as the rubbish did accumulate, but it was clean when we initially came in.

Lovely staff, always available to help out. Very simple boutique hotel, but has every you need, very clean and felt always safe.Definitely recommend and will go back

Great location in the very city heart. Very warm hosting, always ready to be in service.Stable wifi, clean bathroom with shower.

It would be great to have two blankets when two persons are living in a room even though they share a bed.

Location was perfect - right around the corner from the galata tower, and close to a metro. Really enjoyed staying in Galata area.

- Toilet door kept on making a loud noise and we couldn't really use it. We reported it three times to three different people, with no visible action or feedback- Balcony is not very beautiful due to the house on the other side being full of trash

I think that words and a high rating aren't enough to describe our experience. Baran isn't just a hotel owner; he really puts his great effort to offer the travellers the best hospitality! The location, the beautiful rooms, the services... everything beyond our expectations! Definitely recommended for a unique experience in Istanbul!

The location it was on a small street next to Galata towel, it was dark and a little dirty in the night, and noisy in the morning, also note that you cannot access in front of the hotel with a taxi

Location is great, close to Galata Tower where you can find a lot of restaurants and shops. Even though the area is full of life, the street is very quiet. Communication with the staff is easy and efficient. I recommend to take the transfer they offer you from/to the airport. I fully recommend this hotel.

The owner is so so friendly one of the friendliest hotel reception we’ve ever come across. He helped with so much and took us up to our room. The room was amazing. It had everything we needed so clean and lovely. I would definitely stay again and again and recommend to all my family and friends. I can’t stress enough how lovely it was to stay here and how kind the staff are. It’s a 1-2min walk to Galata tower area so close to all the restaurants and shops. It’s a perfect location

Excellent hotel for visiting Istanbul! I stayed twice there, the first time I got room 303, which had a stunning view of the city skyline and a nice balcony. The second time I got a more modest room, but still perfect for my short stay. The hotel is super clean, the lighting in the room is full of configurations that greatly change the mood of the space to taste. The staff is nice and always present and the location is just perfect to access any highlights of the city. Fully recommended!
