Demiray Hotel & Spa Old City

Good location and the view from the restaurant.

Room was very cold.

Hotel location was 5 to 6 blocks from major cultural sites. Breakfast buffet choices were utterly amazing!

It was not near a major road to get a taxi. We had to walk uphill to reach it. But those were NOT real problems.

The view from the rooftop restaurant was amazing !!! The staff were very helpful and we enjoyed the food we had in the restaurant in the evening. It was very good value for money.

If you have mobility issues it is in a steep location to walk to from the attractions of Istanbul, but we were fine.

The staff was wonderful, they are available to help at any time of day. The view of the bosphorous on the dining floor was spectacular at anytime of day, but especially at night. The room size was large and comfortable for unwinding.

The location, although it seemed close to everything, involved walking through various hills and stairs, which are completely dark at night. This hotel is located in the wholesale district, so there is not much to look at on the walks and from the rooms

Very clean! Room was chic and stylish , super comfortable bed and staff were very nice, especially the night staff! The view from the restaurant was amazing! Would love to stay here again!

The only downside was the hill on the way to the hotel!

The Massage and spa locations were not clean enough.

The staff was very helpful and nice. We requested another room because the one assigned didn't have a real window, only a door to an interior wall and they changed it as soon as possible. The guy from the spa reception was very friendly and even made us a souvenir to remember our stay in Istanbul. The restaurant has a nice view.

The fact the room initially assigned had no window. The breakfast was a little disappointing. The food was average. The hotel is well located, just 10-20 minutes away from different means of transportation, but the immediate surroundings of the building aren't so good looking.

Everything was great, especially the location and the restaurant with a stunning view over all of Istanbul. The hotel also has a beautiful spa, with a sauna and a warm-water pool. Everything was perfectly clean, and the staff were very friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed.

The hotel was in a wonderful location and their breakfast room provided a wonderful view across Istanbul.The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient with the breakfast being a highlight.

Could not regulate the temperature in the room.

The breakfast was very good and the views were beautiful. The bed was comfortable though a little soft for us but that’s a personal preference.

Breakfast was exceptionally good. Staff, including housekeeping, were stellar. Location was excellent.

Lighting in room is not bright enough.

Room at lobby level is much too small for the $ I paid. (I also booked 2nd room which is located at 4th (or 6th?) floor, which is much spacious that I only paid a little extra $.)AC in the room did not work. The AC setting on the wall looks good, but nothing worked. Technician came, but not helpful.

Rooftop view was amazing. Staff was very friendly and more than willing to help with getting taxis or if we needed extra towels. Quick walk to Grand Bazaar and plentiful of shops/food near by

Location was great, staff was very friendly and kind. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the rooftop terrace is a great bonus. The spa was also very nice and hammam experience with Erhan was very enjoyable. If visiting Istanbul again, this hotel would be my first choice.

10/10 for everything in this hotel! Amazing staff, they answered my emails very quickly, arranged a airport-hotel transfer, upgrade our room! Even made breakfast before the “breakfast time” due to our very early flight. Highly recommend!

The hotel was clean and the staff very hospitable. My daughter was unwell and they were able to accommodate an early checkin. The view from the hotel rooftop restaurant was fantastic with stunning views of the city.
