Aspera Hotel Golden Horn Istanbul

It was very close to main attractions in Istanbul, a min walk from Galata Tower and many shops and restaurants. It's also a mile away from Taksim square.

They hadn't added toiletries in the bathroom and all the bottles were almost empty that we had to ask for extra ones upon arrival. There was no curtain or anything separating the shower area from toilet and water could spill out easily.

Rooftop terrace with great view, big smart tv, elevator, occasional water as gift, overall nice deluxe room, good location

The location is excellent, 1 minute walk to the subway station and a 5-6 minutes walk to the start of the Istiklal street. Lots of bakeries, coffe shops and restaurants close by.The hotel is nice, the staff is friendly and ready to help.Rooms are great, beds are really confortable.Large terrace on the 4th floor to enjoy your morning coffee with a sea view. A big plus is they have a few parking spots for those that come by car.*The only issue we had is with cleaning because if you walked bare foot, you had to wash your feet because the cleaning staff did not vacuum or clean the floor well enough and that was a bit dissapointing because this hotel has a great location, rooms are good and the price is great. I think the owner needs to check on the cleaning staff after they cleaned a room because I think he is unware of the poor service they do.

Turkeya a staff member was very nice and helpful but the manager is scam and greedy

The manager there is a scam , he keeps canceling your credit or debit card and cancels your reservation so that when you arrive to the hotel he offers you a different room with a higher price than booking. After 2 nights stay there and paying a higher price with a room he offered by the same way i mentioned, after i found another room on booking with a good price , the manager didn’t like the idea he tried to convince me with a higher price room and when i refused his offer he rejected my credit card assuming its invalid and then canceled my reservation while i was in a trip and my luggages were there, i whatsapped him he told me sorry no rooms are available look for another hotel.

The partial sea view room was a good size, the bed comfortable, the shower the best we've had. The position near Sishane metro made it easy to get around. Despite being near the metro entrance we experienced little noise.

The rooftop area is a partial building site so while providing great views is not user friendly.

Clean & comfortable double-room with aircon & bathroom with large shower. Table & 2 chairs by the window with a limited view of the Bosphorus. Much better view from the terrace, but there seemed to be some renovation work going on.Hotel manager was excellent. He personally led us to the start of the easiest route into the Galata Bridge and on to the old city, which is 20-30 minutes away. Galata Tower is 5mins away with plenty of eating outlets in the area.

Liked everything. As a suggestion, it would be helpful to have the hotel's name on the side wall. When you leave Sishane metro station, you have to rely on Google maps to find it, despite it being directly opposite or to info about the correct metro exit on the hotel details.The hotel is located directly next to a busy road/intersection, but that didn't spoil the stay.

The location is perfect, just next to Shisane metro station. It is in the hub, walking distance to Galata tower, Istikal street, and Karakoy area.A new hotel, room is decent and very clean. My room is a city and seaview.We can see the sea, hagia sophia and blue mosque in the distance from the rooftop terrace.The staff, Mr. Fahri is warm and kind. He was very helpful to show us how to go around.I strongly recommend this hotel

The property was clean and greatly maintained. The staff was very helpful especially the person at reception who helped us during the stay and also for booking a taxi back to airport. Appreciate him being very helpful. The view of Bosporous from the property(we stayed on 3 floor) was great.

The room is a bit small especially when you have baggage. We did have a bit of goof up by the person on reception to give us early checkin and then after we reached to mention that rooms are not ready but it was okay as they were helpful after that point. The location is next to metro station which is helpful but a quieter locality.

Great location. Free parking. Good communication with the staff. The room was cleaned every day and towels were changed also. Clean and Nice place to stay.

The terrase is not in good condition.

Good value for the money, but don't expect 'The Ritz Carlton'. Best shower (pressure) I've ever had but resulted in a bit of bathroom flooding. Very comfortable bed.

Would love to have had a coffee 'bar' available in the lobby/eating area available at no extra charge. Would also have liked a couple of more pillows (only 2 provided).

There is a metro station close to the hotel. Room was just like in pictures and it was perfect for our needs.Very good wifi and friendly staff.Definitely we would stay here again!

Great location in the city, walking distance to all main sights. We were lucky to get a parking spot right downstairs, but better ask the host to book you one in advance.

No elevator, just climbing 3 floors and it`s just one room with 1 bed, couch and a bed IN THE KITCHEN. The bathroom was pretty smelly and because the apartment was so small - it made an impact.We were with friends - and totally not enough space for 4-5 people, as stated on booking.Just for sleeping - fine. But you won`t like hanging out in there.The host wasn`t answering on our messages and when we asked for help he said we should contact booking.com, not him. Not the best impression of the host, the apartment is satisfactory.

Hospitality cleanliness and information provided were exceptional. Staff was exceptionally helpful. She became my right hand lady. Well.done , Altın!

Staff went out of their way to help us pay for a taxi late at night that didn’t accept our credit card. Extremely kind and helpful. Room way better than expected too, clean and modern.

Duvet a little small for 2 persons, minor detail. Great value for money.

Location next to Sishane metro station was amazing.

Hotel didn’t have a breakfast service so we didn’t get to use the balcony with the Bospherous views. They also didn’t clean the room each day plus they didn’t provide extra tea when we asked. The staff was nice but didn’t provide the service you would expect in a hotel.

It can be considered SCAM at this point. Photos are misleading regarding the real state of Jacuzzi and rooftop. This is unacceptable for the price of the suite.We reserved a suite with Jacuzzi and see view. Room 203.Issues:1. Jacuzzi is in a very bad state... Only 1 out of 3 button "works" so you have only lateral bubbles. Light and floor bubbles don't work. I add that the "buttons" are covered in rust and one is even completely broken.2. Jacuzzi floor "holes" for bubbles are circled with DISGUSTING black mold ! You will hesitate to bath at all...3. Shower handle on the floor is broken so you are forced to hold the shower-head....4. The ventilation grid is too small for such a big Jacuzzi, the WHOLE room feels like we are in Bangkok regarding air humidity... Even the bed feels kind of wet because of that...5. The terrace (rooftop) is a COMPLETE scam. It's still under construction. Fall protection barriers are made with TABLES on one side ! Absolutely NO SERVICES is provided on the rooftop (no bar, nothing). Just use this rooftop to have a quite good view on Old Istanbul and smoke. That's it.6. No balcony and poor angle to enjoy the see view...

The view from the rooftop was really amazing! The beds were comfortable and the noise insulation was very good
