The receptionist wanted me to pay in cash instead of by credit card when he saw that I had cash on me. "You have cash, cash is better". I insisted on card payment. Not very helpful staff when asking where to buy the Istanbul card or where the nearest shop is. There was still pickled, smelly food in the fridge from the previous guest, and the carpet was crumbly. Not a nice place, but at least there was good access to the metro and bus. The pictures, especially of the building, are not true and are very exaggerated and with filters. Tiny room with 50cm of space to walk in front of and next to the bed. Shower about 50cm size.

Location is perfect ,breakfast very good,especially restaurant manager very professional and helpful.

The location was perfect, easy access to the metro and tram stations. Staff were very nice and helpful and always went the extra mile to help us when we needed it. We got a free room upgrade too which was brilliant. The rooms were nice, clean and spacious.

The breakfast could be improved as it was an extra 7 euros for breakfast and then a separate charge for other items such as an omelette or a latte etc. which could be included in the whole of the breakfast.

They offered us a nice, spacious room with a view in front of the hotel. The staff was very kind, ready to help us solve any problem. Many thanks to Yusuf, the receptionist who was on duty when we arrived, with whom we could talk in English (and this happens quite rarely in the area), who offered us tea upon arrival and who made our check-in quickly. He also sent a boy to show us where the parking area was and how to get there.Because at the time of booking on the hotel's website it was said that cars can be parked in a private location behind the hotel, they helped us reserve a place for our car in that location. It was very crowded and we probably wouldn't have found a place for our car there, without their help. There is a safe in the room.On the ground floor there is a cafe where you can serve, for a fee, a very good coffee.A lot of shops, restaurants in the area and very close to public transport (metro, bus, tram), even a taxi station. However, you can reach the Grand Bazaar quite quickly on foot(15-20 minutes), and even in the square between the two mosques, at the fountain, but you have to be prepared to climb a lot, because the streets in the area are on a slope.

Not too much to say, but….the bathroom supplies were not replenished, and a housekeeper gave us a very nasty reply "Finished" when we asked for soap(not all employees were rude, I think she was the only one). About the neighborhoods-narrow streets, congested, with a lot of garbage in the evening; the noise from the garbage trucks in the morning.

The only one person on reception was helpfull (Yusuf). The rest 2 were completely unprofessional and rude. They did everything to make sure that it was last time in that hotel.

Refurbished rooms. Great location, near metro and trams. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Air conditioning wasn’t great but we could open the window instead.

I was greeted with a warm welcome from the friendly staff. The check-in process was quick and efficient. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. The bathroom was spotless and stocked.

I wish instant coffee was available in the room

Breakfast is good enough. Many dishes and assortment. Location is very good. Better do not have a car, because there is private parking behind and its too crowed of cars.

Breakfast left a lot to be desired and the bathroom could have done with a deep clean. Metro isn’t as close as seems as difficult to cross main road resulting in a walk to a footbridge with Steps or an uncomfortable crossing at a busy junction.

Convenient location near Yenikapi and 15 mins walk from the Grand Bazaar. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff and communication was good throughout our stay.

Really nice small hotel with very friendly staff, made checking in and out really quick and easy. Perfect location for the Champions league fan festival.

Nothing, everything was great.

Excellent food, big variety of dishes and different combination of dishes every day- all delicious. Big choice for vegans. The chef is a gem. All the staff very kind and friendly. The room and the bathroom beautifully arranged, very comfortable beds. Good acoustic insulation- can't hear the noise from the busy street when the window closed but provide yourself with the earplugs to not hear the next door neighbours.

No private smoking area (kind of terrace of back garden) only at the fron door. But the tables, chairs and ashtrays provided there.

Family Friendly. I stayed 7 nights in the hotel with my family including 2 kids. The hotel was family friendly and we enjoyed staying there.The rooms. The rooms we had were spacious, well-lit and smelled well. When we were booking this hotel, especially, my wife was not sure how the rooms would smell in this hotel. However, she was very pleased with smell of the rooms. The rooms were cleaned daily. The staff let fresh airs in and applied air fresheners. We could feel it when we came back to the hotel in the afternoon. The rooms were clean and tidy everyday.The staff. There was a guy called Yusuf. He was nice. He was so helpful and responsive. He resolved issues quickly, arranged airport transfers for us. He offers different tours and can arrange them for the guests. Also, he advised us how to get to the certain places and lent "Istanbul card" (Istanbul card is used for underground and other public transports) when we needed. All other staff were also respective and provided excellent support.Breakfast. Breakfast was so delicious. Everyday we had different food. My wife loved cakes and had them everyday.Location. Location was perfect for us as it is close to the underground stations and shops. The area had variety of restaurants and eating places to choose.

Everything was perfect for us during our stay. I would suggest to have more staff who speak in English.

We liked everything! Eventgough, most of the staff did not speak English, they were very friendly and helpful.

We did not like the fact they charged us for bottles of water we did not use. It is clearly stated in the room the charge for items in the mini bar (Fridge). However, the bottles of water on your night stand are included in your cost. But we were charged for them as well. Cheap shot. Another thing was, the room did not have a universal outlets . We had to buy an adapter, in order for our phone chargers to fit.
