Great location and price for visiting Ortakoy

It smells of smoke - both in the hallways and the rooms. On two nights there was a party in the next room with at least 6 people chatting and smoking until at least 5am.

Hotel is very well located. The room is a decent size. Overall was clean. The staff was very polite and helpful.

The smell of cigarette smoke was always coming in to the room. My room had an ash tray so I assume smoking is allowed in the rooms. The shower leaked and there was mold in the bathroom.

I didn't have breakfast. the location is good

hot water in the shower did not come regularly. you had to wait a long time for it to heat up

The room was nice, they are pet friendly

The receptionist is not very nice, I understand they might he shy about speaking english, which I don't mind, but they are always annoyed when you ask them questions or they give you very short answers. Today I had half an hour beautiful conversation with a turkish stranger who maybe spoke 5 words of english but I could tell his attitude was super helpful so it's not really about the language but more of an attitude of wanting to genuinely help or assist your customers.

I have been several times at the hotel. Super comfortable, super clean. The staff is nice and helpful. Best deal in the area.

A spacious clean room with everything you might need.The hotel also has a laundry service and very small shared kitchen with a fridge and table.There is a very small fridge in the room.Good location, near the sea and a small market. A lot of different stores near, including food and fresh fruits/vegetables stores.24 hours reception, friendly staff.Stable wifi.Very good value for the price.

No breakfast option, but there are food places very near.Not near a metro station. But there are few public transport busses stopping nearby that can take you to several landmarks.No lobby, but not really needed.

The noise in the hotel at night . It's unbearable . People screaming , yelling , being loud and noisy all night long.

Well equipped room for a great price. Shops and bus station nearby.

Stayed for two nights, the wifi worked only the first night.

I have stayed with them for a long time more than once, but the administration has some racism from foreigners, especially people with special needs , they told me in a humiliating way not to book in their hotel again because of my weight in an inhuman way

Staff were very friendly and attentive. They provide a very helpful transfer to and from the airport. Big room with comfortable beds and nice shower and bathroom. Very good location with lots of shops and restaurants near by. Near to bus and boat links.

The air conditioning unit kept making a weird noise every minute or so which was fine during the day but quite annoying at nighttime. The flooring was stained in places and could do with being updated.

It was good value for money - for an incredibly cheap price, it provided the bare essentials like a proper bed, private bathroom (with a great shower and good water pressure), great air conditioning, and a lift to get to the upper floors. The location was okay - it was walking distance to the ferry port, but there was no other public transport nearby in the form of buses/trams.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable and only one crappy blanket was provided instead of an actual doona/duvet so we would either freeze at night with the air conditioning on, or overheat when we turned the air con off as the room would quickly become stuffy and warm. The walls were paper thin so it would get very noisy and our sleep was interrupted by loud voices, music, etc. in the early hours of the morning on multiple occasions. Our room was definitely not cleaned properly before we arrived, since we found a dirty cigarette butt in the drain of our basin in the bathroom. Also - the default mode at this hotel is to not tidy up people’s rooms unless the guests have indicated so, which we found odd. Anyway, we indicated for our room to be cleaned on one occasion and came back to our same used towels merely hung up in the bathroom rather than being provided with fresh towels. Also, the toilet paper in the bathroom had not been restocked - and had merely been hung back on the toilet-roll holder so we had to ask for toilet paper at reception and were given one small roll, which felt like we had to ration toilet paper or something. We also returned to the hotel one night and someone had clearly stepped in dog poo outside and left poo all over the reception carpet, as well as in the lift, which smelled awful and was quite repulsive - particularly since the reception was manned with staff who did not appear to be making any attempt to clean it up. Furthermore, we could smell cigarette smoke in our room on more than one occasion so clearly other hotel guests were smoking in breach of hotel policy, which we did not appreciate. Lastly, the hotel staff did not greet us unless we said hello first, and even then, sometimes we were greeted with a blank stare, which felt a bit unfriendly.

Helpful friendly staff. Close to main road and lots of shops.

The mattress was terrible, it sank in middle, used pillows to level up but didn't sleep at all. Mattress should be replaced. We complained and asked for another room, it wasn't available so suffered 2 nights. Moved to another room 3rd night.The location was terrible, not mentioned on advert. The hotel is on a steep hill, it's a struggle to walk up, drive up, cars parked both sides, very narrow roads. Ideal getting taxis.

Spacious rooms, mostly cleaned, staff very nice.The hotel was situated in a great area with lots of restaurants and very close to sea and public transportation. It was very easy and fast to move through the city from hotel location. The bed was very comfy.

Cigarette’s smoke everywhere, not so clean and a lots of unaesthetic improvised furniture and walls issues.

Great location, bus stop is very close, nearby you can find the harbour, shops, restaurants. Repectionists are very friendly, nice people. Very clean, nice rooms, big bed

The bed was a bit uncomfortable for us, but we are used to less hard mattress

Good location near sea and restaurants

Facilities acceptable for the price but will do with a bit of tlc. The bed sheets appeared not ironed and hair on pillow and bed sheet. The room was open to main road hence very noisy.

All perfect!! Location is very close to shops,, atraction, bars, restaurants. Safe area , nice and helpful reception staff , rooms are clean, big, comfortable beds , Defo will recommend to everyone and back again, Ewel x
