Hard to say other than that Breakfast was traditional and good.

Unfriendly staff. Refused to keep bags in the storage. Deposit of $100 is delayed I still didn’t get the email of refund. Will check when I return back

It was clean

We had to carry our suitcases along the street to get to the hotel because cars could not drive down the street. Also some members of our family were in one building and we were in another building about half a block away.

Difficult access.

Location is very difficult to get to by car so we were dropped off about two blocks away. It was very difficult to access the hotel walking with suitcases through narrow stone streets. Also there are a lot of stairs and rooms are in different buildings so make sure they give you rooms in the same building, especially if you have kids.

This hotel has a wonderful central location! I loved everything about it! Staff were very friendly and welcoming and they made sure my husband and I had a comfortable stay! The breakfast was yummy and there was quite a variety everyday. Although the area can get loud at night, however, staff were able to place us in a quiet room away from noise. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for great hospitality!!

Excellent service and an ideal location for exploring Istanbul. The hotel is stylish and well-maintained, and the team was always ready to help with recommendations and directions. Very good buffet breakfast to start each day.

Friendly Staff, Cleanliness.

We were on the first floor. The first night, the bar was very noisy, but the other nights it was fine. They also offered to move to the upper floors, but we were lazy.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. Absolutely ideal location, everything you need is within walking distance or public transport from Taksim. The hotel staff is very friendly, helpful and always smiling. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room, comfortable beds and a varied Turkish breakfast exactly according to my expectations. Room service every day, clean towels, full minibar. Don't be afraid to pay a little extra for a room on the top floor with a balcony and a view.

The location is nice but the area is not nice. The stuff should not have this attitude, unless they are kind mostly with men. (Of course that goes for specific people and not all the stuff) Very dark rooms. Room cleaning service.

Very kind the people of the hotel. Marian at the spa was amazing. Very good massage.

We had a wonderful stay at Akka Suites in Istanbul. The hotel is located right beside Istiklal Street, one of the city’s most vibrant and crowded areas. Despite this, our room was very well soundproofed, and we had no trouble getting a restful sleep.The staff was welcoming and accommodating, even allowing us to check in earlier, which made our arrival much more convenient. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped.If you’re looking for a hotel in a prime location but still want peace and comfort, Akka Suites is a great choice. We would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable, clean, shops and bars nearby

Wonderful position, located in a super cozy little street but just couple of minutes walking from the big and beautiful shopping area, restaurants, clubs and Taksim Square.Big rooms.Friendly and welcoming people, a special thanks to the house keeping always professional and very helpful?

I’ve been 10 days, and unfortunately the entire area serve very loud music, every day, until very late at night, at certain point if you need silence to sleep, better to get with you a good hear plugs; thanks AirPods for the “noise isolation”? TV are not smart, and you can’t even connect any personal device to watch some Movie or whatever, only 2 channels in English with Arabic subtitles; get with you a computer if you plan to stay more then a weekend and maybe enjoy a movie some night.

It was a very pleasant stay! Great location, super nice service. We have been upgraded with the room. Breakfast is a great choice of buffet. We also used a hammam, which was really nice after a whole day of walking.Totally recommend, when in Istanbul will book this hotel again.

The staff didn't bother to help us carry the baggages from the car to the hotel when we arrived at the hotel. The hotel is situated at some height with a narrow lane, hence, the car was parked 100 meters from the hotel. Likewise, while checking out, too... Moreover, we're given two rooms on the first floor of the building without a lift, though the hotel has other buildings with a lift... i was with my wife, 10 year old daughter and aged mother.... i had to drag the bags to my room... it would be worth mentioning here that, i reserved the rooms 3 months back, despite i was told that the hotel was occupied and i willnhave to accept the rooms in a building without lift.The restaurant staff behaved rudely... we are vegetarian, hence we were carrying our packed vacuumed food with us. We requested the restaurant for vegetarian food, which was denied. They also didn't allow us to have our food at the restaurant and instead told us to have it in our room, which we did... .Overall, it was a very bad experience.... would never recommend anyone.

Location and cleanliness. It’s near Taksim Sq so quite central to the main shopping and restaurant area.

Not a total dislike but some junior staff are a bit ignorant. Our room do not have bath gel and I asked for it. They gave me body lotion instead. I told them that I wanted bath gel and they say their lotion is their gel. I told them to double check. Sure enough they came back with bath gel. This is a slight mistake, overall staff are very courteous and polite.

It was a very comfortable room with upgraded bathroom. We had a nice view of the city and the location in Taksim square was good. Lot of restaurants close by. The hotel served breakfast in their sister concern across the street and we enjoyed the food !The train/ tram station was within walking distance which was convenient.
