Delicious breakfast with lots of variety, beautiful interior, great view, friendly and helpful staff for the most part, comfortable rooms.

Some of the staff members weren't very competent at their jobs. Often at breakfast we'd ask for something simple like a spoon, and would have to ask several times to get it. We had to ask because the silverware bins almost never had spoons for some reason. Once, my girlfriend and I each got a tea and only mine had a spoon, she asked for a spoon and the waiter simply moved my spoon onto her side. Staff would also often stand with nothing to do in the middle of doorways, blocking the way. When we were in our room in the daytime, cleaning staff would often talk very loudly in the hallway, and we once heard them complaining about other guests. Finally, the dining area would frequently stink of cigarettes because of people being allowed to smoke.

The location is great lively and warm… The cleanliness was very good specially housekeeping they have done great job. Breakfast was very nice. Staff were friendly. Specially guest relation manager Bahar, she was great…

It is a historical hotel in the city center of Istanbul. It has a very beautiful interior.Breakfasts were amazing! A buffet offers a variety of cheeses, olives, pastries and several hot options.The view from the rooftop is stunning!

Our room was quite spacious, clean and comfortable and our mattress was quite luxurious. We were impressed by several things including the very extensive breakfast buffet that was included in our room rate, the amazing views from the roof terrace (where one can order food and drinks) and the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. We found this hotel to be well worth the price. It's a very close walk to the Galata tower but on a quiet smaller street.

Rooms are amazing, location is great, people from reception are friendly and welcoming and really nice, they helped us with a lot of things.

The rooftop staff are not so much nice and friendly like another staff in hotel. Rooftop is amazing and the view is great, but the service and people upstairs not so much.

Perfect location in Galata. Very fancy historic hotel with amazing rooftop views. The breakfast is fantastic. One of the best I've seen at a hotel - especially when it's served on their amazing rooftop. I will stay here again if available!

The street noise can be slightly noisy, but honestly wasn't too bad.

Location is great, less than 1 minute walk to galata tower. Hotel looks and have that classy feel. Terrace is beautiful and yummiest breakfast

It's such a wonderful hotel in a perfect location for exploring Istanbul. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! The most accommodating I have ever experienced. Breakfast was amazing on the rooftop restaurant with picturesque views of the city and Galta Tower.

Location . All main restaurants and attractions were easily accesible from the hotel. Taxis, train were easily accessible from the hotel; the hotel staff was knowledgeable about best routes, pricing, and places to visit. Safety: the hotel is located in an area safe for tourists, plenty of places to shop and visit. Food establishments and supermarkets abound and are safe to visit .

The location was amazing and staff were friendly but not always knowledgeable or helpful. The concierge did message me during my stay to see if I needed anything and they provided us a bagged lunch for our early check out which was very nice! The room was aesthetically pleasing overall.

The air conditioning in our room did not work. The elevator did not always seem to be reliable so had to take the stairs up a few flights of stairs, not the biggest issue normally but after walking up and down hills in Istanbul it was just extra on our sore bodies. We were only given 1 key card which was required for the electricity in the room, so could not charge devices while we were gone. There was a clog in the sink, when you looked in clearly so much hair, and the water drained very slowly.

We had a wonderful stay at Meroddi Hotel! We were welcomed with a sweet treat upon arrival, and a birthday cake was even brought out during breakfast — such a thoughtful touch. We also enjoyed a complimentary non-alcoholic drink in the hotel’s lovely garden on our first day.The staff were incredibly helpful and responsive, assisting us with everything we needed. We lost our room card, and they kindly provided a replacement without any hassle. The view of Galata from the hotel is stunning, and having direct access to the Galata Tower made it the perfect location. Highly recommended!
