Taksim La Marino Hotel

It was the perfect location, just a short walk to Taksim square. Lovely restaurants and supermarkets close by. Staff all very friendly. Free wifi

It was difficult to find when we first arrived

The place is just a short walk from the square, where you can easily access the metro, bus, and tram. I stayed with my friend, and even though it was just the two of us walking between the square and the accommodation—day or night—we never felt unsafe at any point. The street in between is lined with small shops run by both male and female staff, all of whom are very kind and welcoming.The hotel staff and owners are wonderful—always friendly, extremely helpful, and most importantly, they made us feel safe.

This is not what i didn't like but the hotel facilities aren’t top-notch, but the room was clean and equipped with electricity, a lock, and basic appliances like a kettle and a mini-fridge. They also provided water, toilet paper, and towels whenever we asked, without any hesitation. We didn’t request an iron, so I’m not sure if they offer one, but there wasn’t one in the room. Overall, considering the very affordable price, I would say the accommodation offers great value for money.

I am easy to please. the only thing I recommend is IF they say 1st floor... as a customer you must know that is the basement. some customers would not care for this,; for me, it was more private. everyone's ? ?‍♂️ floats differently!

It was one of my favorite experiences with Booking.com. The room was clean, charming, and I had a lovely small balcony overlooking the city. The staff, especially the man at reception, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even offered me an early check-in, which I really appreciated. They also brought me coffee and water, making the stay even more pleasant. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I hope to return in the future. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family as well.

We booked two linked rooms with a balcony. The rooms were good and the beds were comfortable. The location is 5 minutes from Takseem Square. Staff were nice and helpful

We booked an apartment with the kitchenette, however, there was no stove. When I asked them where is the stove, they brought a picnic gas. I wad shoked. They said there is no gas or electric stove, and we could not cook anything during our 10 days stay in this hotel..Internet connection was horrible. We did not have any wifi connection in our room. We had to go to the stairs to be able to use Wifi.It was the worst experience I had in Istanbul.

Comfortable and clean place, respectful and wonderful staff. I recommend it to families and singles. It is also a place near Taksim Square and an excellent price.And close to all services

Everything was nice and tidy

The best part of my stay was the staff. The brothers who run the place were so nice and super accommodating. Would definitely stay here again! Also super close to a great area with lots of restaurants, cafes, and shopping.

I highly recommend this hotel. It is a small boutique hotel near Taksim Square (many amenities). The bathrooms and rooms were thoroughly clean (with a bidet) and the staff was stellar. I had a terrible issue and needed to extend my stay multiple times and the staff ensured that I was comfortable and tried to help me navigate my issue as best as they could. You can WhatsApp them any question you have and they keep tabs on your well-being. They are open 24/7 (to my knowledge) and are truly great hosts. As a solo female traveller, I made a really good choice.

Nothing comes to mind but be mindful of the hilly nature of the area - much of Istanbul is that way but I did get a good workout!

They sut me in the basement last room not fresh air in the name of window there is a wall in front of window. noty type of room not worth the price either.

It wasn’t clean. They never sent someone to clean my room. The bathroom smell and the room smells horrible.

Will not be back

I booked the room with patio and instead got the room in the basement with the wall panel in front of the window. It was very claustrophobic.The room itself was tiny. The host couldn’t speak English and it was very difficult to communicate.
