Small Room , but we’re in Istanbul not to stay in Room ?

Location is superb ! Nearby metro makes it easy to go to Balat and/or Asian side. Also taxi ride is inexpensive from hotels location to go literally anywhere!Service was very good and staff are very friendly and professionalsBreakfast was ok,

Location and stuff

The hotel is very clean. Sauna, gym, swimming pool and the parrot made our stay fun. Mustafa and the crew provided first class support.

The breakfast was good and diverse, but was lacking some traditional European breakfast ingredients and coffee could have been better. Probably it was just more traditional Turkish breakfast (still enough options to fill protean and fibers requirements for me).

Good location, helpful guy’s working at the reception, they changed my room to bigger one because the cold AC doesn’t work in winter time and it was hot in the small room, swimming pool was very clean and nice, the old guy and his ? who’s I guess the manager is very polite man and positive. Definitely coming back to the same hotel in the future.

We stayed here twice - one night at either end of our trip. Breakfast was included. It was a fabulous Turkish-style buffet. The staff were very helpful with a 3am transfer to the airport at the beginning. The room was small but adequate for our short stay. The hotel is located in the old city so close to all the main attractions.

Just know that Sultanahmet is a tourist area so everything is expensive. While this hotel was great I'd like to stay in a different area when we return to Istanbul ( and I did say 'when' not 'if).

I stayed at this hotel and had a great experience. The room was clean, everything worked properly, and the staff was polite. I especially want to mention Mustafa at the reception — a true professional and a genuinely kind person. He really helped me with a few things and made my stay much more comfortable.

The front desk service was wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable, gave us all the necessary instructions and answered all the questions we had. Also, we were very thankful that they also arranged for transportation to the airport, which made the trip back stress free. We loved the hotel's central location, which not only allowed us to walk everywhere, but all the means of transportation were close by: the ferry, metro station, buses and trams. Once we walked out the door, there was a big selection of restaurants and places to eat, all of them excellent choices.If the weather was rainy were were able to enjoy the pool and sauna located in the hotel.Breakfast was really nice and had a variety of foods and drinks from which one could pick. Our favorites were the freshly made eggs, the cherry tomatoes and cucumbers. The staff is very attentive to the guests, and if there was something needed, they replenished the items immediately. We loved seeing the hotel's parrot every morning, he was very cute, and entertaining.The room we stayed in was nice and clean, very comfortable bed, and clean sheets. The temperature in the room vas perfect, and since we were able to open the window enjoyed the fresh air.Thank you everyone at the hotel for the hospitality; we felt like home!

Sometimes there were noises coming from the adjacent rooms, but since were not much inside it was not a big problem for us.

The staff was kind.

The hotel is located to a very bad neighborhood and right when you go outside people start yelling at you trying to convince you and inviting you to eat at their restaurants. Typical behavior at Istanbul. Our room was unfortunately not clean as there were finger/foot prints on the ceiling, the flush was not working properly and there were stains at the curtains. Not a lot of breakfast options as well. Lastly, beware of the fitness center which does not operate due to technical reasons without a single notice on the website. We booked this hotel exactly for this reason since we wanted to use the fitness center. The staff kindly explained this to us however they informed us that if it operated we would have to pay for 25€ per person which is extremely expensive.

The location to historical sites were wonderful. Mustapha and the cleaning staff were great.

There was no water in the rooms. This was shocking to me since if you’re arriving after a long-haul flight the last thing you want to do is go exchange currency and then go out and find water. Also, the pillows were a bit lumpy.

From the room I could hear a lot of noise, doors closing, people walking, and noises from like a machine, these noises were up until late, like 3 am

Staff was friendly, location was great! It's really near the port so it made our trip to the Asian side really easy.It's also close to all the popular sights!

This hotel is in the centre of all tourist attractions and right close to the tram and the park, yet its on a pedestrian street so it’s quiet too! We loved having all the shops, tourist sites and restaurants literally on our doorstep while being on a cosy, quiet street that is connected to the pedestrian zone. The staff was very helpful and offered me bread when I wasn’t feeling well one evening. I was recovering from a facelift so my friend visited the sights while I went to medical appointments during the day and we went shopping and had dinner together in the late afternoons and evenings. The prices of the shops in our area were very competitive too ! It’s not the fanciest hotel but it was clean, comfortable and the staff were helpful. We were two women and we felt completely safe at all times. The location can’t be beat if you want a real experience of Istanbul in complete safety.

The breakfast was good with an egg station, salads, cheeses and fruits but didn’t have croissants or pastries.
