The location was very nice. The hotel is located in Sultanahmet walking distance from the water.

The rooms are not the same as what they show in the picture. The picture of the restaurant is not where you would have your breakfast. It is the picture of the restaurant nearby.

Hotel staffs extremely rude.We avoid asking them simple thing as very unhelpful and very stressful to talk to them. The room is very small, also the bed is old and uncomfortable. No privacy as housekeeping enters room without knocking even if u r sleep!

No proper room service as even if you repeatedly call them they won't come to assess you. Internet is very slow and frequently disconnected. Bottom line was really bad experience as the worse ever hotel that I can think off as anxiety provoking place.

Loved the proximity to the Blue Mosque & Hagia Sophia. Free breakfast was ok, free wifi definitely a perk.

Was not told that we would not be staying at the main hotel, but in a separate building at the backside off of an alley. The room was very small, but ok.

Starting with the location: spectacular. We went upstairs to the restaurant several times and could see the Hagia Sophia with no problem. It's located where you can walk to most places. The staff was so nice to us as soon as we walked through the door. They upgraded our room to one with a view to the sea. The decor was beautiful, the room was cozy. They provided us with so much information and options of what we could do. We ended up taking one of the tours that was recommended of the city with a tour guide. The breakfast had a lot of variety and also was very good each day we were there. Next time we're in Istanbul, I will definitely sign up for their Turkish Hamam/Spa!

Honestly, very little negative things can be said about where we stayed. Since we were right below/next to the restaurant, sometimes we would hear the staff cleaning up, but it wasn't too bad. Also, on our last day, we noticed the bathroom sink had started leaking and a patch of paint was chipping off, but we told them at the front desk and they stated they would look into it immediately, so again, cannot complain.

Location, walking distance to all attractions. Nice and comfortable hotel. Clean. Professional staff. Excellent breakfast. Nice and elegant rooftop bar/restaurant.

I have been 14 times in Istanbul, and this was my first time in this hotel. Spotlessly clean. Modern amenities combined with its historical building. Walking distance to all historical places to visit in Istanbul. Night life all around the hotel. Very nice rooftop bar/restaurant. Delicious and fresh breakfast with a wide variety of sweet and savory options, very friendly staff assisting at the breakfast.

We had a wonderful time. Hotel breakfast was diverse and the hotel is close to sites such as the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. However, if you would like a room that’s more spacious and with a view I recommend not booking the budget/economy room. The service was amazing. Staff was very prompt with meeting our requests. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

We were just steps away from major attractions like the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace — the location truly couldn’t be better.The breakfast each morning was delicious, with a great variety of local and international options. It was a perfect start to our days of exploring the city.A special shoutout goes to Ehran, the manager, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. He was incredibly helpful, warm, and attentive — truly one of the best managers we’ve encountered during our travels.Highly recommend this hotel for families or anyone looking to enjoy Istanbul with comfort, convenience, and excellent hospitality!

Breakfast was good and room was clean

We paid extra for a room with the sea view and you could barely see it. We also paid for a taxi to take us to the airport that took us to the completely wrong airport

1. The location is walking distance to Blue mosque and Hagia Shopia2. Air Con with heater is good for winter season3. Smart TV with Youtube, Netflix, etc, it's good for family to enjoy the time staying in the room

1. The electricity power outlet is not considering for guests coming from all over the globe, however the front desk staff still can provide the adapter if we need it.2. No Tooth Brushing kit provided, need to buy from nearby store

I love this property. The staff was amazing friendly kitchen. Staff was so kind. The food was delicious. They always put out a delicious breakfast. First time in Istanbul and everybody treated us like family. This hotel is a beautiful place to stay. We will definitely be back.

There’s nothing I didn’t like about the property, but there’s one thing I could say I would like them to have a softer beds and softer pillows. Little bed was hard for me. I like soft beds and soft pillows but other than that, I love the place and I definitely will come back.

Great facilities in the room and location

The breakfast was poor in protein, and the few salami options did not have a great taste. Too much sweet options provided compared with healthy food

Facility is in a perfect location with a rooftop bar and restaurant that are simply gorgeous. If you stay at the hotel, you get a 10% discount at the restaurant which is very nice.We stayed at the executive suites on the fourth floor and they werewell appointed with beautiful views of the prosperous.The included breakfast changed every day and was simply outstanding. I’ve never seen a spread with more different types of cheese and olives plus wonderful pastries, fruit and hot dishes. The breakfast manager is friendly, helpful, and extremely well-versed. I highly recommend this beautiful, friendly and well located property with a wonderful staff hi kudos go to Erva Nur, the concierge, and Erhan, the restaurant manager. They made us feel the Byzantium is more than a hotel, but a place to call home.
