    Pros +

    • It was near everything , the staff was responding quickly. Place was clean
    • Great location and beautiful building. It’s very busy neighborhood so when that’s in mind the stay can become much fun! Sweet and hospitable staff.
    • We stayed at Adamantides Hotel in Istanbul and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is small and a bit outdated, but it’s clean and conveniently located near Taksim Square, which makes it easy to explore the city. We arrived at night and took the Havaist bus to Taksim — a much more economical option than a taxi, especially since the metro wasn’t running at that hour. Our room was clean and equipped with two double beds that provided good sleep quality. Despite the busy nightlife in the Taksim area, the hotel offered a surprisingly quiet and peaceful environment. Breakfast was good and satisfying, and the staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help.

    Cons -

    • Dear Booking.com Customer Service Team,I am writing to submit an urgent and formal complaint regarding my booking at Adamantides Hotel, located in Taksim – Istanbul. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and completely inconsistent with the description and photos displayed on your platform. From the moment I arrived, I was shocked by the very poor condition of the hotel entrance and reception area, which were totally unacceptable and did not reflect a hotel listed on Booking.com.I have attached real photos taken upon arrival, clearly showing the actual condition of the entrance and reception, which is completely different from what was advertised.Overall, the property:•Does not meet even the minimum acceptable standards•Does not provide a sense of safety or comfort•Is not suitable at all for accommodation, especially for couples or familiesBecause of this situation, it was absolutely impossible for me and my wife to stay at this hotel. As a result, I was forced to immediately search for another hotel to stay the same night and pay a significantly high and unexpected amount of money, due to the limited availability and the late hour. This situation caused me financial loss, stress, and major inconvenience, and negatively affected my trip. What I experienced can only be described as misleading advertising, as the reality of the hotel is completely different from what is shown on Booking.com.Therefore, I kindly request that you:•Open an urgent investigation regarding this property•Review its compliance with Booking.com quality standards•Provide compensation or a refund for the financial loss I incurred due to being unable to stay and having to book an alternative hotelI have always trusted Booking.com as a reliable global platform, and I sincerely hope this issue will be handled seriously and promptly.I look forward to your response.Kind regards,Ahmed Talaat
    • The only small downside was that the night reception staff didn’t speak English, which caused a bit of confusion at check-in. They used an electronic translator, which wasn’t always effective, but we managed.
    • Repaint needed. Often a club nearby played music until very late.

Clean , close to everything , nice personels

Mouse was around bilding , breakfast was so simple

    8farshadPosted on: 6-12-2025

The location is great, rooms are quite comfortable and spacious , they cleaned our room whenever we asked, they also let us for an early check-in. Staff is nice and friendly. Good value for money

Breakfast was the same everyday. We stayed there for 4 nights , we skipped the breakfast after day 2 because it got so boring and repetitive.

    7ZahirPosted on: 4-20-2025

The beds were clean and comfortable. The staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel was very good value for money. Nice hot shower available. Room had a TV although channels were in Turkish. Kettle provided in the room and there was a balcony. Plenty of food places very close to the hotel and 3 SOKS (mini supermarkets) almost on hotel doorstep. Istiklal Street (posh High Street) just 5 minute walk away and Taksim Square is also close by.

Room starting to get bit dated so some minor repairs needed. Toilet flush was temperamental, one of the wardrobe doors was hanging as a hinge was broken and bedside lamp was loose. Breakfast was okay but quite simple with not that much variety. Moonlight Club next to hotel so can be a bit noisy at night depending on which side of hotel you are.

    8AssalaPosted on: 4-1-2025

The hotel has,a great location, few meters away from Istiklel street, few meters away from the bus station, and also close to all commodities. The room I took is the deluxe one, it's spacy, simple nd nicely decorated. The staff are my favorite part, very helpful and kind, always offering help and sometimes beyond their work. One thing to note i that due to the location in the middle of everywhere ( bars, clubs, shops, streets), the weekend nights are noisy and the music can be loud until late hours.

    Location, staff, value.

The front door closed, sometimes its hassle to get in if no one at the front door desk.

    Good services Good staffGood rooms

    The breakfast could be better

    7SarahPosted on: 1-6-2025

Excellent location and great value for money. Very comfortable if you are single traveller's and not looking for luxury

The bathroom has no windows, only a tiny old extractor fan so there is often an old damp smell in the room. The breakfast is very basic but enough to sustain you for the morning.

Location good, staff and atmosphere was perfect!

    Bathroom water have problem

    5MorganePosted on: 11-23-2024

    Close to Taksim

Don’t book a balcony room as you might not get it and because i think it means street side. I had read the reviews commenting about the club noises and thought it would be ok as i sleep wit earplugs. Spoiler: wasn’t enough.

    8IbtissemPosted on: 11-3-2024

The kindness of the hotel staff left us speechless! The room was simple but big and clean. We chose the hotel because it's near to the airport bus station. It's also near all touristic spots so it's a plus.

    6LisaPosted on: 10-23-2024

The breakfast was decent and the location was good for the price.

The flooring in the room wasn’t so good — many soft spots. The lighting didn’t work well.

    1HosnaPosted on: 10-21-2024

The only good thing was the location. It was near the bus station and Istiklal Street.  But, it wasn't worth the money at all because of how bad the hotel was.

This was my worst hotel stay ever! The staff were nice, but the hotel was old, dirty, and small.  The lobby wasn't pretty, and the breakfast buffet was just a few sad items served in a small hallway near the elevators.  The room was big, but it felt like it wasn't cleaned properly, with marks on the walls and the bedding didn't feel good and clean. The worst part was the smell - the room and especially the bathroom had a really bad smell.

The staff was very friendly and helpful The hotel near the bus station ,near istiklal street, near taksim squire, the tram , galatatower and near the buses for the airport, we went on foot to the bus and then to the airport, only 204 turkish liraSo many restaurants around the hotel ,there was a bakery, supermarketsWe spent the 12 days walking and enjoying

The breakfast was limitedThe same items of the buffet everyday except the fruit...only one kind and they vary

    5World_IskraPosted on: 9-21-2024

    1. Great location - short walk to Istiklal Caddesi, next to Omer Hayyam bus stop in Beyoglu. We were able to use public transport for all of our excursions. There is a supermarket right next door with all necessities, as well as a variety of restaurants and shopping nearby. 2. The staff was nice and kind.3. There was a small refrigerator in the room, which was very convenient.4. The shower was clean with good water pressure. The AC and wi-fi worked well.5. There was an elevator in the building.6. Basic breakfast items were provided (eggs, juice, cheese, bread, some fruit).

    1. We had issues with plumbing. The bath sink was clogged at the time we checked in; the issue was addressed but resulted in a further plumbing leak from under the sink. We had to use the shower to wash our hands.2. The room was very dark inside due to limited natural light. Also, there are a lot of bars in the area so the noise at night could be bothersome. We had to keep the windows closed at night and slept with ear plugs.
