Breakfast was amazing, big spread of food.Location was close to the center. Awesome views of the water and Galata Tower.

Great location - around the corner from Topkapi Palace. Suggest you select a room with views of the Bosphorous - interesting waterway. Great breakfast. Plenty of dining options nearby. Accessible to the T1 tram, walkable area, quite safe. The staff were super helpful and friendly - a shout out to Goldalp and Mesut!

Very good location, close to everything, 3 min walk to Sirkeci tram station. Very clean room with daily cleaning. Very good and diverse breakfast. Coffee, tea, water and desert on the house available 24/7.Staff was very friendly, kind and helpful. Lots of restarants and shops in walking distance. Overall a great experience, would definitely recommend and stay again next time in Istanbul.

What’s not to like? I liked everything about the hotel. From the breakfast spread, unlimited coffee and tea, incredible service (I’m lactose intolerant and they gave me a whole tub of lactose free cheese + a box of lactose free milk). The front desk reception even helped me post my postcard. It is situated walking distance from Sirkeci station. Recommended for anyone visiting Istanbul for the 1st time.

This is a great place if you want to walk to all the Sultanahmet sites. It’s also close to the tram stop to take you to the new parts of Istanbul. The hotel itself is very nice. The staff are very grand helpful.I highly recommend this place

Location is close to monuments but in a very quite area.Communicating room is rare!Team is very helpful and friendly.

Room a bit small.

Very central and in walking distance from all the major sights. Beautiful park behind the hotel and short walk to seaside. The hotel was clean and I had everything I need. Very friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Lots of restaurants around and beautiful view from my room on the 4th floor onto Galata Tower

Nothing. They could have been some wine glasses in the room and they could be a bit more environmental friendly by using refill bottles instead of single use plastic bottles in the bathroom. If you are a light sleeper you should be have a room at the back of the hotel.

The breakfast was excellent and very complete, offering a variety of hot dishes such as different styles of eggs, sausages, and potatoes, along with a wide selection of breads and cereals. There were also three different coffee machines available (Turkish coffee, Americano, and a multi-option coffee machine). The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the Europe side, just one square away from the Marmaray metro station.

Elevator is small

The staff was outstanding. Everybody was kind. The location is perfect. Breakfast were amazing.

1) Bathroom need some maintenance (ceiling, paint etc);2) Some extra cleaning is welcome as well. Nothing serious, but not excellent;3) Issues on the window. It wasn't closing tightly, and the road noise, even people speaking outside, was heard inside the room

The location was excellent . Really close to the main sights but quiet . Lovely breakfast and lots of thoughtful touches in the rooms . The reception staff were really friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend

Small hotel close to all public transport. Good view from the top room. Staff bakes fresh cookies and cakes, which are a treat, and you can grab a coffee on the go.

We booked a family room on the 1st floor, both rooms had queen beds so worked well for our 2 kids. Hotel also provided with a crib for our baby. Kids room had a small TV with only local Turkish channels so kids didn’t really use it. The room doesn’t have a balcony, as it says in the description but everything is same as shown on the photos.The hot ki el had an elevator, although small, but served the purpose. Very quiet street despite being in the busy old town. Breakfast is good and served with fresh local produce. They have option for turkish tea, turkish coffee, coffee dispenser or water. You can order any type of eggs or go with what is on the menu for the day.You can also enjoy drinks all day round and evenings they also keep cookies that kids really enjoyed.Staff are very helpful. I liked hotel’s proximity to nearest tram station as well as railway express, that worked out very well for us. Also 12 mins walk to Aya Sofiya / Blue Mosque.Overall great stay if you want to be in the old town but also have a quick access to public transportation.

Everything! Comfortable bed and room with decent size (they have options for pillows!!) and nice bathroom, great location walkable to most tourist attraction, near 2 metro station n tram, lots of restaurants n cafes nearby, great breakfast with variety in daily menus (every morning you can ask for eggs menus personally cooked for you), tea, coffee, water and cookies or cakes available 24 hours in the lobby And most of all, ALL the staffs are very nice!! Everyone was full of smiles and ready to help you in every way, and all of them can communicate in english!! (after 19 days in Turkiye believe me, this was heaven!)We cannot thank you enough, for Turkiye standard, Meg hotel really excell in every aspectsWe will definitely stay here again whenever we are in Istanbul
