The breakfast was delicious! Very comfortable spacious room. Good bed. great room service. The restaurant food and service were exceptional!!! The view on the rooftop was exceptional!

The floor in my room was not clean. I could see stains from previous guests

The hotel’s design is absolutely stunning — elegant interiors, luxurious finishes, and a peaceful atmosphere that made the stay feel special. The staff were warm and professional, always ready to help with anything I needed. The location made it easy to explore both the modern and historical sides of Istanbul.

The rooms in the higher floors with sea view are very nice.The staff members are friendly and helpfull.

The hotel was fabulous and the staff could not be more helpful. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. My parents actually did change their hotel upon their return to Istanbul at the end of their cruise to make sure that they stayed at JW Marriott again.

Great location surrounded by beautiful attractions, restaurants, shops, and the river. The breakfasts buffet is incredible.

There is construction in the area causing a lot of traffic and noise.

Daily cleaning could have been more thorough. Strangely, while the room was initially cleaned well, the quality of cleaning declined toward the end of our stay

8 floor rooms are under the kitchen, which operates 24 hours. Paper thin walls. Attempt to downgrade the room with no compensation. Poor ventilation in WC. Uncomfortable pillows.

Money disappeared from my personal bag !!! They bring sweet instead upgrade the room or return the stolen money!!!

not a recommended experience. I booked on December 14, 2024, paying in full. The actual check-in date was April 12, 2025, and OHH surprise!!!! They assigned me room 311, which is designed to accommodate people with disabilities. The mirror is designed to reflect smaller sizes (I'm 1.75 meters tall and have to bend down). There's no towel rack or towel rack, and of course, the screen isn't there either. When I commented at the hotel reception, they told me... Sir, we're very sorry and understand your dissatisfaction, but the hotel is full and there are no rooms available. My question is, isn't a reservation confirmed and paid for 4 months in advance enough time to plan for this not to happen? Can a hotel of the magnitude in image, quality, and service like the Marriott have this lack of interest? Of course, my stay ended, admittedly short, and I left feeling cheated by the expectations I had had when I booked the services. It's a shame to have one less customer, one negative review that who knows who cares.

Very slick hotel. I didn’t get to try their breakfast but their dinner was spectacular. Rooms nice. Location excellent.

Great ? in general. Staff were friendly cooperative and hospital.In particular, I commend and praise Safak Erten, the executive chef for his welcoming nature and hospitable manner.Also, the wonderful Ruveyda Bakirhan food & beverage supervisor. Her energetic presence in the restaurant floor and the positive energy she radiates add a refreshing flavour and generous atmosphere.I also would like to extend my appreciation to Chef AslAnd the waiters Sedat and Cihan.Also in lobby Forat and Sami. I hope the spelling is correct.

I reserved for king room 38 meters and once I reach the receptionist told me that it’s occupied then she gave me one smaller than mine and the bed was not king size ,, it was two double bed joined together.. I was upset and not comfortable at sleeping

The rooms are luxurious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable.The staff truly stand out, providing attentive and personalized service that made my stay unforgettable.The rooftop restaurant is a highlight, offering breathtaking views and delicious Turkish and international cuisine. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, and the dining experience overall was top-notch.

The staff were excellent and considerate to my requests.

The location is nice but horrible during crowded rush hours, impossible to enter a taxi without waiting 1 hour to leave the area, walking is better then but difficult sometimes.
