Dilhayat Kalfa Hotel

The Staff are super nice, friendly and helpful. Did every thing possible to make our stay on the hotel comfortable and pleasant. The rooms and bathrooms are specious and clean. The location is great right at the heart of Istanbul's historic center.

They went and got me coke when they didn't carry any on stock. Breakfast was awesome.

Breakfast could be better

Location, staff and safety around the area. Hotel Owner/Manager Abdul helped us early check-in which was very helpful and the other lady prepared breakfast every morning.The hotel terrace has sea view which was amazing for sunrise view. The blue mosque, tram station and many restaurants are just near by - walking distance.There was always a police car at the front of the hotel area, ensuring safe environment.

There was nothing as such but for food, not much option for vegetarian people.

The stay was perfect. Central location, very nice and cozy hotel. Abdullah is very kind and makes it an even more special place. I will definitely return.

Everything was absolutely perfect

We loved this hotel. The manager was incredibly welcoming, friendly and kind. The house itself is incredibly beautiful, with beautiful furniture, and it’s situated in a fabulous location. The breakfast was a lovely surprise too. We loved it so much we’ve booked to stay again when we return to Istanbul.

Nothing at all

Delicious breakfast on a lovely terrace. Staff were very helpful with extras such as early check-in, booking taxis and doing laundry.

We were given two single beds pushed together instead of a double bed. The shower head was also broken.

This was the third time my family and I stayed at Dilhayat Kalfa when we've been to Istanbul. Excellent service from the staff, good quality breakfast with a variety each day. Rooms are spacious and clean, and the bathroom is well ventilated, a problem when we have travelled to other cities. Moreover, the WiFi connection is good in the rooms we have stayed in, essential in this time and age. The hotel is in a perfect location to all of the main sightseeing spots in Istanbul. It has local supermarkets and restaurants very close by as well as several shops where you can buy affordable souvenirs - better prices than the bazaars!One thing that stood out to us this time was the kidnness of the staff. The hotel went above and beyond in sending over some jackets that were left behind in the hotel, Abdur-Raheem was the epitome of kind, understanding, and hospitable in ensuring our jackets made it back to London.

Unfortunately the local area was experiencing electricity outages which caused some difficulties with the AC in the Summer heat.

A nice hotel absolutely in the heart of Sultanahmet.Cozy and comfortable.they have a nice roof terrace where breakfast is served.

I liked everything

Spacious room and bathroom. Clean and tidy, good breakfast. The view from the roof terrace was AMAZING. Friendly staff and good aircon.

Didn’t love the location, down a pretty scruffy back street. Felt they could have made more of the roof terrace which was only used to serve breakfast. Would have been nice to have a lift!

Very friendly reception staff, with good English and helping us solving some transportation problems. Very cozy and classic little to stay.

Nothing for the hotel itself

Location was wonderful. Manager Mr. Abdul Rahim is true professional and helping. He arranged whole trip of cruise and Topkapi palace for us and took care of us in a professional matter.

This was my second time staying at this lovely hotel. Hotel was very nice and in a really good location. It is about 3-5 min walk to the Blue Mosque. Brother Abdul Rahim is the manager, who is a lovely person and very helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was included however it was Ramadan so we didn’t have the breakfast. It would’ve been nice if they gave us the breakfast for sehri/sohoor time so we could have had it before sunrise to keep our fast. But it was not possible, they could not arrange this.

Location was perfect to easily reach main attractions and public transport.The staff was really helpful and kind.Hotel has wonderful roof terrace. Rooms are big enough.

proximity to city center and all major objectives

no parking lot, could not sleep properly as there was a generator/hotel sized AC related device that was very noisy and only stop making loud noises at around 3 AM, which is totaly unacceptable. The person at the reception said he cannot do anything about it.The room furniture look aged and the walls dirty, nothing like in the pictures. The bathroom was ok.Breakfast was ok, very good actually but, there was no wifi on the top of the building, where the breakfast area is located

Excellent location, close to blue mosque 10 mins walk. Tram station 10 mins walk and very easy to use. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We stayed in a room for 4, what I would say is the mattress was very thin and you could feel the springs, we had a child sleeping on it but he said he wasn’t comfortable.

The view on the terrace is excellent. Very good breakfast. Close to touristic points. Very good balance cost-quality.
