Hodegon Suite Hotel

The property was really wonderful especially its location . It was being remodeled in a very beautiful way. All of the tourists attractions were quite near like Sultanahmet Camii, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi palace etc.. you can literally walk to all these magnificent tourist attractions..!!

Amazing place to stay on a budget. Would definately stay here again. Location was 20/10. 5 minute walk to the blue mosque and Hagia Sofia Mosque. Great staff as well

I stayed in this hotel from August 18th to August 25th.. The best hotel in terms of location and safety.. The receptionist Soner was the best person ever!

The staff is very helpful, kind and caring. My room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is very convenient located in the quiet area near the most popular sights.

WiFi connection didn’t work well.

I was told them to close balcony door because there have problem and I want they solve it. And probably they forgot it, around 05.00 morning someone coming from balcony door, I and my girlfriend we was so afraid, hopefully didn’t happened bad thing and he step back. It was awful night!

The wifi connection wasn’t the best.

The room was very spacious with comfortable mattresses and pillows. Everything was clean. Lovely terrace with a nice view. The concierge was very attentive and helpful. Location is perfect, walking distance to many attractions and surrounded by restaurants.

The hot water was not working properly. They tried to fix if but was not enough to wash my hair in the winter. Bathroom was cold, windows need better isolation.

Very friendly staff, they clean the room everyday which is very surprising. The location is close to a lot of attractions.

Everything was amazing. The room was a good size and had amazing terrace where the view was beautiful you could see the sea and the mosque. Th staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. The location is amazing is literally 2 minutes away from the blue mosque. I would recommend this hotel!

Super nice, helpful and friendly staff gave us useful tips for visiting Istambul. Great location. Nearby main attractions and also nearby the sea. Clean and white towels with bed sheet. No noise from the street. Nice namaz from Sofia that doesn't wake you up. Just cozy and nice place to stay :)

Safe and family run hotel. We felt very comfortable and every single staff member was a pleasure to interact with. Definitely would recommend if you’re looking for a calm and family friendly hotel. Amazing location, close to tram and public transport. In the heart of all history as well. There’s also a beach 5 mins down the walkway, great place to calm down and relax.

the hotel is very dirty and old. there are unpleasant smells in the room. everything in the room is falling apart and nothing works. the staff is rude and impolite, they won't help you lift your bags or help you with anything. Scammers

I liked nothing about it. It was clinical and unwelcoming and the desk clerk while sweet was completely ineffective and unable to manage the power outage experienced on both nights of my stay.

- Location is good for Ayasofya; tram stop is about 10-min walk; Sirkeci and Eminonü are 20-25 mins walk- The front desk guys are very helpful and nice

The room listing stated fast wi-fi and soundproofing in the rooms, so I booked this hotel for 10 days as I needed to work on a project. What a mistake this was!- Soundproofing, although stated in the list of facilities, is non-existent: in any of the rooms you can hear the noise from the corridor. Some rooms are double-glazed and the sound from the street is not too bad, but from the room with the terrace I could hear the seagulls all night long leading to bad-quality sleep.- Wi-fi is basically awful - did not work most of the time, sometimes wi-fi from neighbouring small hotels had to be used. The hotel wi-fi completely cut off on a couple of important conference calls.I tried to resolve this amicably with the owner by paying for the nights I already stayed (3 or 4, out of 10) and getting a partial refund, but the owner cited the non-refundability of the booking and of course never gave any money back.I also called booking.com 3-4 times and spent several hours trying to resolve this issue, but they could not do anything either, despite the fact that the facilities are misrepresented.At the rate of 50-60 euros a night this was a rather poor experience. Avoid.
