It is a hidden gem. The staff excellent! Prime location (a little tricky to locate at first), near the taxi station in Pera. Restaurant next door is really, really good. Try the hammam downstairs very relaxing.

Amazing location! The staff that work here are super! Shout out to Sinem & everyone else who was so accommodating during our time here. Location is super, close to everything and walkable area. Spa & Hamam were good too!

The location is excellent, very close to Istiklal Street yet surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are comfortable, and we had a very relaxing stay.The staff were wonderful, especially Mustafa at the front desk — he was extremely kind, professional, and helpful. He assisted us with every detail and made us feel truly welcome.We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

I decided to take my parents on a short trip to Istanbul. They’re getting older so they cannot really walk for too long nor be surrounded by a lot of noise. For those reasons, the Westist hotel was the perfect place for our stay; located very close to a lot of the spots, the Metro, and the bus. It’s also very close to the famous Istiklal Cadesi, but it has the perfect shield from the loud nature of it.Mustafa was extremely polite and kind, always ready to answer any questions. He did everything from helping us check in, to showing us how to get around, and booking cabs to the airport. I highly recommend staying there if you want to be surrounded by kind and positive staff, be close to the tourist hub, and get some good rest at the end of your long day. The hotel will be my go-to, the next time I’m in Istanbul.

Great location literally 2 mins from the main high street which leads up to taksim square On a quiet side street so you miss a lot of the noise and hustle and bustle Rooms were really clean Staff was pleasant and helpful all needs were catered for

The rooms AC wasn’t functional unfortunately There were no hangers so for two people the rooms generally didn’t accommodate anywhere to hang things up. One hanger was in the bathroom only and you can make use of the wardrobes The mirrors were dark ( the wardrobe mirrors) and only one mirror was usable between two people in a room.

Property is clean and very close to Galata and İstiklal. Very accessible to all bus and train stations. Very friendly, approachable and helpful crews Mustafa, Sinem and Ayshe.

This was our second stay at the Westist Hotel and we had a great stay this time around too. The hotel is centrally located steps away from the action of Istiklal Street with Galata Tower and Taksim Square within a few minutes walk. As I was travelling with older family members, the flat terrain and taxi rink at the back of the hotel were added plus points. The rooms were well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay and were very clean. However, what made us come back here for our second stay was the warmth and kindness of the hotel staff. Especially Mustafa who was always there with a ready smile and kind welcome. His suggestions for things to do and restaurants to try were the highlight of our trip and we knew we could count on him if we needed anything. I highly recommend this hotel!

It is a beautiful property, very clean and accessible to everything. Plus, Mustafa and Dogukhan are very professional and helpful staff. They both were really helpful in everything and did a great job.

The rooms are clean. Staff at the entrance know English and are very friendly. Berk was an excellent employee, always smiling even throughout his night shift, and he was quite helpful and energetic. He made our stay comfortable. For example, when we requested towels, he delivered them to our room by hand within a few minutes. To be honest, staff hospitality and approach toward guests identifies a place in Istanbul.

The room is small and appropriate for one person. If you are two people with two or three bags, it will not fit comfortably.

Everything was perfect, staff very very helpful and friendly. They helped us every day for many times with a big smile and they were so friendly, Sinem, Safak and Mustafa were adorable and helpful and for that we will sure recommend the hotel and we will sure come back.

The rooms are comfy and clean, some of the staff were super nice and helpful, the receptionist with the dark curly hair was so nice and welcoming and she always had insightful advice for us tourists. The housekeeping lady with the blonde pixie cut was also super nice and respectful. Sorry for not getting their names! The location is also very central yet feels calm and secluded at the same time. I would recommend this hotel, it's a good choice, fair price great location and clean environment.

The staff asked us to give them a 10 point rating if we enjoyed our stay, which was totally okay at first. However, as we were leaving the hotel, a male receptionist we were seeing for the first time sort of harassed us into it. He followed us into the street, asked us to do it in front of him, telling us he personally needed the good review for a meeting he had later today. He tried to help with our uber and ended up getting our ride canceled, then sent us endless whatsapp messages to do the rating, telling us exactly what to do on the app, telling us he could get us cheap medication from istanbul to our country, which was unprofessional and very irrelevant.Also, a few days prior, 2 maintenance workers went into our room to hang a painting over an electric outlet. We were very bothered by this as it was not communicated to us that anyone was going to be let into our room. We happened to be waiting for the elevator when we saw them going in. This sort of work should either be done in between stays, or at least communicated with guests beforehand. It felt like an ambush and a breach of privacy.These are the reasons we gave this place a (generous) 8 instead of a 10 (these incidents really upset us, especially the man following us to the street and then spamming us with messages).

Great staff – especially the receptionist named Sinem, who was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. She never hesitated to give us useful tips about the city, recommend places to visit, and even helped us plan our daily itinerary. Her warm and welcoming attitude made us feel right at home. Truly appreciated her kindness and professionalism. Thanks to her, our trip was even more enjoyable!
