Grand Hotel Palmiye

Staff were very helpful! Location is super - right in the heart of Taksim! Good value for money!

fridge was not working unfortunately (not a huge deal but an FYI).Room is quite small but still very comfortable!

the reception guy was so friendly and helpful

its a very noisy place which you can never a good sleep at night or the day time the night clubs and bar just down the room so you can even hear the steps of people in the street the room is very small not as the picture show ones my key has been broken in the door and they charge me for it and also its over priced like other places and services in Istanbul wont stay here again

Nothing good in this hotel. Don't stay here.

Does not go forward in solving the problem. Smoking smell in the rooms. No refunds. We've just moved out and went to the other hotel. This hotel doesn't fit it's rating. it's 2 stars or even less. Stay away!

Only the location

The room is not clean(the bed sheets and the towels)Room is not cleaned everydaySmoking smell all day entering the room

its located in the center of istanbul

the place wasnt clean at all, the internet connection was poor, and rooms werent equipped.there was not hot water at the shower and you have to walk there is no elevator on the grand floor

The location is good. Surprisingly not noisy while the night life spots are within short distance.

The hotel owner was dishonest. Upon arrival, he told me there was actually no room available, but he had a sister hotel that I could stay. Without asking me my permission, he grabbed my luggage and lead me to a different hotel, which had worse review than the one I booked. He then said the new hotel was also fully booked so he could only give me a room behind the reception desk. That room is the worst I had ever seen. The full illumination level of the lights were about 20% of the regular lights. Furthermore, it does have a WINDOW, but its facing the hot water heaters and the drywall of an adjacent room. I was unhappy with the arrangement so I asked for cancellation since the hotel couldnt give me the room I saw on the website and reserved. Suddenly, the hotel staff took me back to the hotel I reserved and offered me a room on the top floor. I thought he had said all rooms were occupied, but apparently thats false.

very good for the price , few steps to istklal road , the staff very friendly

The location is excellent right next to Taksim square. If you are in instanbul for partying this is the perfect place to stay there are bars all around, unfortunately it is quite noisy however.

Bad

very small rooms not clean in a very noise location that u can't even sleep..

Comfy beds, friendly staff, great location,. Not as noisy as I thought it would be.Good wifiGreat pubs and food around the corner

all was good for the 1 nightTook payment by credit card without asking me.Was advertised as pay on arrival. I wanted to pay cash

located in a good place in Taksim square.

facilities were poor, radiator burst and started leaking water in the room. the shower tray leaked water on the floor. the toilet was positioned in a awful angle and there were ants crawling everywhere on the floor.

Location and staff

The air condition was leaking water.Room size is smaller than expected

Nothing went well

I have chose the best room with balcony ! When check in the room I was totally surprised that there is no balcony ! Its just a small place where they locate the Air-conditioner unit there ! I had the bad experience ever !!! Noisy place guarbage everywhere ! Bad staff ! Very Poor breakfast ! I dont recommend this hotel for anyone

location close to Taksim, the counter staff was amazing and did his best to help

next to discos, noisy, shower leaks, very old property, breakfast is a nightmare, around 20 step stair to reach elevator, a miserable toilet, very tiny, could work for barbie but not human being, room mirror made for 90 cm people because you cant see ur self unless you sit on bed and bend down. bed very small size

The location is perfect; near the taksim squarre, the istiklal street, the metro, the taxi station. The staff is really helpful; they helped us in taking the bags down the streets to take taxi. They were very helpful in suggesting us where to go. The hotel is not new but indeed you will find rooms with AC, nice bathroom and comfortable beds

Perfect location easily accessible to everywhere, kind and friendly staffs, nice and clean room. This is my fifth visit to Istanbul.

the staff was friendly and helpful, rooms always clean and location pretty central. comfortable bed

rooms smaller than pictured. balcony not usable as the ventilation device was occupying it which was also very loud. overall very noisy during the night since it was next to istiklal street and badly soundproofed (one night we thought someone is trying to break into our room while it was just our room neighbour opening his door). small extras that i missed was a trash bin and big mirror. mini bar was empty and tv not used (just for the sake of mentioning)

the Location, cleaning, staff

the elevator is on the 1st floor

The location is 20m from the main street. The public transportation (metro, bus station etc) is close to hotel. Staff was friendly and nice.

Location is excellent and in the heart of istiklal street.

Ended up having to wait 2 hours at the reception as the room was not ready on time.
