As is customary, Turkish hospitality is one of the best and Agora Life maintained the highest standards regarding cleanliness, comfort and superior customer service. The location, proximity to historical sites and access to to a variety of food options made my stay comfortable.

Property went beyond the basic requests to ensure my comfort.

Good location. Comfortable room. Breakfast. Great views from rooftop terrace (although it was too cool/rainy to eat breakfast there)

    Not close to the metro.

It is all about the Location. Cannot get a better location. Just 5 min walking from Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. I upgraded my room to get an excellent view of Hagia Sophia. The walk to the mosque is a straight path and no uphill climbing. The staff (Isa) took very good care of us and arranged the Airport shuttle and answered all our questions diligently. The breakfast spread was delicious.

    No complaints.

This was a good sized suite room, with double sinks in large bathroom, comfortable beds, ample closet space for a long stay, and quiet neighborhood. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly at all times, whether in sightseeing, food recommendations, parking, or medical needs. Breakfast was very good, with eggs cooked to order as well as a full buffet. The view from our suite room looked over the Bosphorus, Haya Sophia, and Topkapi - it was the same as the rooftop view, which is a special experience for staying at the hotel, wondrous during the day (one could bring breakfast up there) or night. Set slightly apart from the expensive area around Topkapi, etc, the location felt a bit more local, with a well stocked supermarket and produce market, plus good restaurants. It was an easy walk to the major sites in Istanbul, including the Grand Bazaar.

The suite furniture is a bit worn in look, with water stains, but that did not bother us or affect the usability of everything.

Location is excellent, walking distance to everything, superb staff beginning with Isa at the front desk who appears to manage everything. He was professional, exceptionally helpful, friendly. Omer, Gokhan and Yasin were also superb at what they do. Agora hires good people. We enjoyed interacting with them all.Breakfast was good, coffee very good, and run well by two women who I think also handle housekeeping. The bed was comfortable. Hotel is clean, quiet, comfortable. The rooftop terrace is wonderful - the views are outstanding and we relaxed up there each night. In June about 8:45 Call to Prayer from every direction echoed for a little while and was beautiful. The staff at this hotel do everything they can to make your stay great. We recommend Agora Life Hotel - Special Class.

The location was excellent for getting around. We found the staff very warm and welcoming.

Could consider more fresh fruit for the breakfasts.

Location is ideal- in between Hagia Sofia and Grand bazaar with lots of good food places on the same street. The food places on the street are reasonably priced compared to the tourist areas

Room was a little small with no power point for the kettle

    9DavidPosted on: 3-26-2025

The hotel is in a quiet location but is very near many of the important tourist sites. The view from our bedroom and from the roof terrace was outstanding. There was very high standards of cleanliness. The staff were exceptionally friendly helpful. We would particularly like to mention and thank Omer, ISA and Emre.

Staff were very helpful & welcoming, with maps and help with booking a couple of excursionsThere is a rooftop terrace from where you can see the Golden Horn and Hagia Sofia as well as bring your drinks/breakfast up and plenty of places to eat nearbyThe location of the hotel was, however, pretty much perfect for the major attractions - the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia & Basilica Cistern were about 5 minutes in one direction and the Grand Bazaar about 10 minutes in the other. Most of the tours will pick you up from the hotel so that's one less thing to be concerned about.Small but comfortable (standard) room with free Wi-FiAir conditioning was reasonable. The water was nice and warm for showering and the water pressure was ok.Fantastic view from roof top terrace

The room (201) a bit tired but adequate for our 5 night stay - this does make it all sound like it is a dump, IT. IS. NOT!!!!Our 2nd floor overlooked the street at the front of the hotel and did not have a great view, messy rooftops opposite and a noisy street.. You will be woken up by the very loud call to prayer - I understand that this is to be expected, but it did mean we had to keep the window closed at night but if you're a light sleeper wear some earplugs (in fairness I suspect that this is likely to be the same no-matter where you are in Istanbul). It must be said that there IS A/C so that is less of an issue than it might be.The Safe did not work - battery had run out, however, the staff changed the battery the following day and all was fine.Breakfast ok but not to our taste - a cold buffet - meats, cheeses, boiled eggs, olives, tomatoes, dried fruits and various dips, with some cereals but little fresh fruit (whole apples/oranges). The bread was all sliced up, but had been out since 7.00 am so by the time we came down for breakfast at around 9.00 am, the bread had gone a little hard, albeit fine for toast. The only other bread alternative was long-life croissants which didn't taste fresh. Why no rolls or bread you can slice yourself? You could ask for a plain omelet/scrambled eggs. Same choice presented each day, so some dried fruits were very hard. The road to the hotel is frequently blocked so if you have mobility issues getting heavy cases there might prove to be an obstacle as might the stairs to the hotel itself (there is a lift in the hotel)

Location is amazing. Staff is wonderful and friendly. Great hospitality

The bathrooms are old and they can put air fresheners to make it smell nice

The property was exceptionally well located for sight seeing. Easy to get around by walking. The staff were very friendly, and really helpful. I liked access to rooftop terrace, although it was too cold for us to use it during our stay.

Very good location, right in the centre of the old town, close to the Sophia Mosque and the Blue Mosque. However, if you are not religious, the chanting in the mosque everyday at 6am can be disturbing. Staffs are nice and welcoming.

The room has very bad sound proof, me and my partner sufferred from loud neighbours for the whole trip, the wall is actually paper thin, don't expect to have good sleep there to be honest. Also, the view is quite bad for the price that we paid, not a very good value for money. The breakfast is not the best either, not many food that are real meals, more like random dishes put together. Don't expect too much on the breakfast.

    1. Excellent staff! Extremely friendly and helpful.2. Very convenient location. Easy for visiting tourist sites and also close to trams.3. Comfortable and clean.4. Can see the Sophia from the balcony.

Facilities a little bit old, but totally acceptable.

The hotel is located exactly where you want to be in the city. It's central to everything and a few steps to all you need to visit. Perfect for first timers. The room is well heated, clean, and very comfortable. The rooftop has an amazing view beyond what you can imagine. All their staff are helpful and welcoming. So many good words for this place - definitely above expectations and highly recommended to anyone visiting the city.

    Nothing :)

    location and staff were fantastic.

room doors were not insulating sound from the hallways very well.
