Pros +
- The staff is very good and helpful. Mustafa is very nice guy. The breakfast is decent.
- I liked everything! Great location, helpful professional staff, delicious breakfast, good price. If I come to Istanbul again - definitely will stay here.
- Location great, Breakfast good.
Cons -
- The staircase. But the nice man at reception brought my bags down.
- Beds were too close too each other, TV was not working and lighting was dim, The room didn’t have any safe locker. The steps were too steep so be mindful of the luggage you carry. Even though the staff helped while checkin it was difficult to carry them down during check out. Another aspect of a shocker was that they demanded that I pay the rent via cash and no card at all. There were no mention of it on booking.com but it was a shocker as I had to withdraw cash and spend extra on charges
- Beds are so-so, but still good.

Staff was good, very neat and clean

The breakfast was great, the location is superb. The staff are realy nice.
Beds are so-so, but still good.
Breakfast was excellent, location was ideal. Mustafa helped us in all aspects.
One washroom was smelling. There was no elevator. Its hard to manage luggage. Owner helped us bring the luggage upstairs.
The hotel was beautiful and located in a very strategic area. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very varied, with a charming setting. I highly recommend this hotel.
Very close to HagiaSofia. Decent breakfast was provided in the adjacent restaurant .
The room and bathroom were quite small, but it was expected from the description, so it was ok
The location was excellent. The staff too, specially Muzafar that made our stay comfortable and happy. The breakfast was very good and the staff working there, specially Ceneth who was very nice with us.
Only the stairs
The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The location was super convenient for sightseeing. The included breakfast was really tasty. It was really good value overall. You can book a shuttle bus through them also, which was much cheaper than a taxi.
Excellent location and great price. Near the top attractions.
Room was a little small but it's all you need if you are there just to see the sights. The shower could have been cleaned better. The included breakfast was very disappointing. Powder juice and coffee. Not many options.
Nice location, close to metro and historic landmarks. Mustafa at the reception is welcoming and accommodating.
The location was very close to several tourist sites. It's between the Hagia Sophia/Blue mosque and Topkapi palace. The staff were extremely knowledgeable about the area, and helped us with basic tourist questions (how to put money on a train card, etc. ). The morning breakfast was amazing, and based out of a restaurant that we later had a fantastic dinner at. We did a tour that the hotel helped us book. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the nearest tram stop. All in all, I cannot praise them enough.
If you are a light sleeper you might want to bring ear plugs. It was fine for us, but the tram runs near by.
Breakfast was great, good choice of different meals and also fruits, tea, coffee and whatever you want. Location is perfect, very close to Aya Sophia and other tourist destinations
Well, nothing really to say here.
The staff were helpful, knowledgeable and curious. The room was cool, clean and comfortable. The location was excellent and close to everything. Hotel was quiet and not noisy.
I wish there was an elevator.
Close to main attractions
The so-called “Family Room” is just a regular triple room with an extra bed squeezed in. As a result, there is literally no space to move around. The furniture looks at least 50 years old, and much of it is broken. The air conditioning smells bad, clearly has no filter, and the unit itself flashes bright LEDs at night, making it hard to sleep. The ceiling is very low, and part of the room is an attic-style slope, so at night the air feels suffocating. The window faces another building crammed with more than 10 buzzing A/C units, so keeping it open is impossible. The bathroom is tiny — there’s barely room to step inside. The door is rotting, and overall everything feels neglected.Sound insulation is non-existent. You hear every word and movement from neighboring rooms. One “funny” detail: the hotel dilutes shower gel in bottles. One might be fine, the next one half-filled with water. That says a lot about the standards here.Breakfast is another disappointment: served on dirty dishes, with most things charged extra. Want baklava? Extra. Coffee? Extra.TL;DR: Avoid this place.
Everything was excellent. Hotel located in the center. The staff was really helpful and nice. The room was tidied up every day, breakfast was tasty! Highly recommended ?
Fantastic staff really friendly and welcoming! Good variety in breakfast. Despite being an old building the cleanliness was very good.
The bathroom can sometimes have a sewer smell. Bathroom was also very tight for us as we were a family of 4.
the location is super nice and close to most of the attractions by walk , a lot of cafe and restaurants around, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming, transfers from and to airport were well organized, clean and good value for the money.
it's not about the hotel, but i guess all the area has same thing- cause it's just near the the mosque you can hear the prayers very loud early in the morning (5am), when maybe you want sleep longer.. also the tram is just under the window and was well heard both when it starts in the morning, and late evening .. not tragic for an early bird, but if you want a really really quiet stay, choose something more far away of this area..it's my first stay in this one and the last ☺️and about the property : the hairdryer was old and in a very bad and weak condition.. it worked for like 30sec then needed time (to become cold probably?) and then restarted again 30sec and then died again and so on ... so either you have yours, either forget about drying or styling your hair properly.. i went sleep with wet hair feeling uncomfortable cause I forgot to bring my own ?
Breakfast was great. The location is convenient for public transport.
The light sensors on the staircase turn off too quickly. It darkens suddenly and posed a safety issue.
