Cihangir Hotel Bosphorus

The breakfast staff were lovely. The room attendants were super friendly. The view was amazing.

The reception area and rooms were excellent, clean and spacious. Staff were decent and everything inside the hotel was excellent and similar to the pictures.

I didn’t like the location at all, it felt unsafe, the walls surrounding the area had graffitis all over, homeless people were sleeping nearby and we were worried about drunk or dangerous people along the way to the hotel so we only went there in a taxi. I personally don’t think it’s suitable for families or other vulnerable people even though we didn’t encounter any problems but the vibes of the location were off. I wouldn’t go back again only for its terrible location.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were very kind and helpful, especially when we needed assistance since we don’t speak Turkish , One of the staff members quickly helped us by making some calls on our behalf. He even stayed outside at 6 a.m. in the cold to make sure our problem was fully resolved. The hotel was clean, and the housekeeping staff were friendly and and always smiling to us. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff was very helpful. The gentleman who served us breakfast was very kind and made us feel at home.

I had an issue in the ac in the room - the ac is coming only into one place and not reaching the bed - I spoke with the staffs and it was so hot and they came and fix it -overall it was fine stay

Hotel is good. Rooms are pretty big and balcony has a nice view. Food is nice and has a good variety. Stuff is nice. Cleaning is good.

Location is good but it’s on the top of the hill, to get there it’s a real challenge.

The property, staff, room and breakfast was amazing! Everything was clean, staff was professional and the breakfast was unbelievably delicious! And, such a presentation! Wow!

Awesome location! Nice neighborhood, within walking distance to Taksim square and Istiklal St, but also reached Karaköy and Beyoğlu easily. We had an amazing view of the Bosphorus. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and with lots of variety, including traditional turkish food and tea ;)The staff was really friendly and helpful. If we’re ever back in Istanbul (hopefully we will) we’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you everyone for making our stay enjoyable!

Nothing to dislike

The stuff was really friendly and helpful . Nothing to complain for . In my case at least , everything was clean and as it should be . Nice views from my room on the 5th floor .

Excellent location, very safe, great neighbourhood in the heart of Cihangir area, great coffee shops and restaurants nearby, quiet location. I went on a solo trip and I'm a female in my 40's and I felt very safe. I recommend it also because it's quiet at night so you can actually rest well! The staff was super friendly and let me do an early check in. I would stay here again.

The wifi connection constantly requests your password. The breakfast had some traditional Turkish options but it wasn't great. I stayed in the economy double room and for me it was ok but it was a bit small if I was with another person.

Quit, spacious, and clean rooms, good breakfast, and very friendly staff. Great location. No dislikes.

some odor but very faint. Just bring a travel candle, the odor should disappear.

Great location and very quiet

Room a little small (bed took up entire space), but was only there to sleep so not an issue. No in-house restaurant (other than morning breakfast), so have to go out for all meals. But I knew this ahead of visit so not hotel’s « fault », just something to consider when reserving.

The hotel is really close to Taxim square, 5’ on foot, it is very clean (they change even the towels every day) and the staff is really polite and friendly, ready to help to every question! Furthermore the breakfast has a variety of options!

Excellent Stay with Outstanding Service!I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The property was clean, well-maintained, and in a great location, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, ensuring a relaxing experience. The best part was the exceptional service, especially from Mustafa, who was always helpful and attentive. Highly recommended for a great stay in Istanbul!
