Continental Hotel Pera

The place was super dirty. The bathroom was disgusting rusted metal. Floors were so dirty it had not been mopped for months. Staff very unfriendly. We asked where we can eat , how we can go to Galata tower. Their answers were they don¿t know.

I didn¿t like anything about this hotel.

Friendly staff, wellness center and gym. The location is also a plus.

At times the room cleaning service is not that meticulous however they are ready to fix any issue quickly.

Great location, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms. I’d stay here again next time I’m in Istanbul.

My room was on the ground level by reception and it was quite loud at times. I heard people coming and going at all hours, it wasn’t awful but inconvenient at times. I would also like a chair and some hangars in the room, that was annoying as well.

Very clean excellent location friendly staff

Central location with great public transport options, clean rooms, good breakfast (not very fancy but absolutely serves the purpose), relatively nice staff (depends on who is on duty), good value: recommended and we would return.

The rooms on the ground floor are very close to the entrance / reception with minimal insulation - the place was not very noisy when we were there, but an earplug comes very handy to enjoy a peaceful night (nevertheless, next time we would ask for a room on the upper floors). The room has no closet (though space would allow), nowhere to put belongings: this is quite inconvenient. Water pressure is great but the shower head insanely reduces it.

Had a great stay at Concept Pera. It's not a pricey hotel so I didn't have massive expectations and they got exceeded. The room was spacious and clean, breakfast was tasty and the staff were really lovely. It's on a quiet street so I didn't find it particularly noisy at night (yes you can hear other people walking to their rooms at night but that's not a big deal) and the location is really handy.

The fridge was kinda loud

This hotel exceeded my expectations! Spotlessly clean, modern, and incredibly affordable. The staff were so helpful and kind. Love the quiet alley location – perfectly situated between the highway and Soho House, with the taxi station around the corner and metro just a block away. Peaceful yet convenient for exploring. Highly recommend!

Comfortable bed and clean bathrooms.

There's a hotel across the street that has a rooftop patio playing extremely loud music until 3 am. It was so loud that I would sing along to the lyrics while inside with the doors shut. I complained about the noise, the hotel staff is aware but say there's nothing they can do (and I don't doubt them). It's a shame because it negatively impacted my stay in Istanbul, since I couldn't sleep well any of the nights I stayed there.

Upgraded room views and beds were never a solo traveler’s best choice. Bunk bed for families in 4 star hotels is not too fancy. Spa was charging extra fees using the pool, That was not on display via booking provider.

Good breakfast variety, different offers on different days! Witnessed other guest celebrating birthday occasions and hotel front desk manager operated literally a 5 star luxury treatment with a high end cake at the terrasse ! Very impressed !

It was a great value, considering the hotel is new and located in the Pera neighborhood, one of the most vibrant areas of Istanbul. It's on a quiet street, so it wasn't too noisy. Zafer at the front desk provided exceptional service, he was always attentive and kind. Also, I didn't know that the breakfast was included, so I ended up saving quite a bit. They offer a basic breakfast, that was perfect fine for me and my husbandd, specially since they have a small but charming terrace area where you can enjoy your meal. Thank you for everything!

The room didn’t have a closet, and we had several suitcases, so if you're traveling with a lot of belongings, I recommend requesting a room upgrade. The hotel is located on a street parallel to Meşrutiyet Caddesi, where the famous Pera Palace Hotel is, and it can be a bit tricky to find. I suggest checking the map carefully and booking a taxi in advance, as yellow taxis may have trouble with the meter. I made the mistake of not accepting Zafer’s offer to reserve a taxi ahead of time.

Bed was very comfortable and location was good

Obviously no soundproofing as could hear conversations through the rooms and also the toilet flushing

This hotel has excellent service and a very convenient location, especially the attentive front desk staff. You can basically reach any tourist attraction right from the door, and public transportation is also very convenient. And nearby restaurants are all excellent. 100% recommended.

Breakfast was decent (limited options), location was Perfect- 5 minute walk to Galata tower, 2 min walk to istakal street for shopping, bus and train access is local!! Rooms were a bit on the smaller side but it worked for us!

The hotel had very good facilities, everything was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and always ready to help with anything.

Everything was fine, nothing negative to mention.

The location is really convenient. You can easily walk around all the new city areas, and if you don't mind walking up and down hills, you can reach the Galata Bridge within half an hour. Istiklal Street is less than 10 minutes away. After 5 minutes of walk, you can take a bus to the old city area easily. The hotel is located on a small side street, which is better for being away from traffic noise. The room was simple, but clean, not too small, and comfortable. The cleaning service was good, too. The staff members were very kind.

The breakfast is a bit simple, but that's not a deal-breaker. Cay is always good to have.

The guy at the reception was very welcoming and pleasant.He offered us the breakfast while we waited for the room.

You can hear the noises from outside and within the corridors.
