Gulhane Corner Hotel

Location.

Hotel did not have rooms. I was moved to Sirkeci Quietness, 20 minutes in the room, I got a call and they moved me again. I ended up at Senabil OldCity. Next day I went out, when I returned all my belongings were not in the room! Yes, they moved me again!

The staff were willing to help and very respectful.

Staff behavior and carelessness to fulfill basic requirement (extra bellow) and breakfast poor quality and no varieties and once any item is finished you should ask to refill it and all you get is very bad and slow response to avoid refilling.

Needs updating, and need better cleaning

Good location, but…

Weak breakfast. Very weak!!!Management should care about people they hire. It is unacceptable that one of the staff members says GO AWAY to the guest.There was a misunderstanding about picking up stuff. Eventually I paid, even I didn’t use their service. But I wanted to pay, otherwise they would have charged a young receptionist. I didn’t want that. Ain’t gonna die for 55e but it should be better organization.Overall, the only good thing is an Afgani receptionist who really showed some respect and dedication. And the youngest guy who works at night.As a someone who works in hospitality, I would say that this was my first and last time here. Definitely not recommended!!!!

When we arrived the 2 rooms were not ready. Had to wait more than 3-4 hours to check in. Wasted half a day waiting. Didn’t offer to give us an extra hour as checkout @12.00 and our flight @8.00pm. We had a long 4 hours wait for taxi. Breakfast was ok but everyday the same

Very nearby major attractions.

Seems rooms are still under construction(remodeling), rooms not ready to be occupied. Ex. There is no noise barrier between each room. You could hear and smell neighbors smoke. The toilette, water continue running long after you had flushed. The door was hard to lock from inside. There is no floor transition strap between under the door.

Location is perfect. It's a small but nice hotel. Wi-Fi really good, decent breakfast.

It's not clean that much.

It was too much loud noises of train and people down the street.

The hotel has an excellent location and offers great value for money. It is close to a tram stop, but you can easily reach the main tourist attractions on foot in less than 10 minutes.The rooms are small but clean. The bathroom could use some improvements, but considering the price, it was a great stay. Housekeeping services the rooms daily, which is a nice touch. The WiFi was surprisingly very good and fast, which was a pleasant surprise.Breakfast is served with a lovely view. Although the selection is rather limited, the food is fresh and tasty. If you're staying for more than two nights, the variety might not be sufficient.Overall, it's a good choice for a short stay in the city!

The walls are quite thin, so if you end up with noisy neighbors (as we did), it can make your stay less comfortable. Also, they didn't have tea at breakfast, so that was a bit disappointing.

room size was very small, was very hot due to heating and very uncomfortable with fixed temperatures was unable to sleepnot value for money. Noisy from streets can hear noise

The only good thing about the hotel was the location. The rest was really bad. The rooms are dirty and extremely noisy.

The first night was Ok, the room was tiny small but the mattress wasn’t good at all. Early morning on my way out the door knob broke, I informed the front desk, they sad they will take care of it. To my surprise when I git back to the hotel late afternoon I was told that the door wasn’t fixed and by time I couldn’t get in the room. They forced it open and I was told I have to sleep with the door closed unlocked throughout the night. At that time I stayed the night at a different hotel in the area. By next morning I was told they give me a different room after 2 pm which they did. But somehow I couldn’t stay in that hotel anymore, so I checked out around 10 pm. I didn’t feel safe.

The staff were nice and helpful, they said the owner had to change the lock and wouldn’t happen for a few days.
