Zeyn Otel Istanbul

The staff was outstanding and did everything possible to help us out during our stay.

We booked their largest "triple room" that turned out to be the smallest hotel room we've ever stayed. There was no place to sit down besides the bed, the toilet had to be accessed by walking thru the shower, no real lobby and the list goes on from there.

Excellent location, only few minutes walk to all main tourist attractions of Istanbul, but located on quiet street. Spotless clean rooms, comfortable bed. All stuff members are wonderful people, very polite and helpful. Absolutely positive experience.

The staff at the reception desk were incredibly helpful and generous: Ilias, Seljuk, Aslan. Our room was clean, elegant, quiet. Beds were comfortable, had a great sleep. Hotel breakfast had many diverse dishes, mostly vegetables with dressing, freshly prepared, very healthy. Great yogurt, superb honey. Location was close to cheaper restaurants (if you go down the hill and turn right, walk about 300 metres, you will see them on the right across from the park), but also close to main attractions if you go up the hill and come to Hippodrome, where you will find the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofyia, Cisterns, Topkapi Palace. I look forward to staying at Zeyn Otel when I return to Istanbul, hopefully next year.

This is a disgusting hotel.There's mold on the ceiling in the bathroom.I was particularly surprised by the glass entrance to the toilet through the shower stall.The towels are all ragged from years of use.The soundproofing in the rooms is terrible (especially if your neighbors use the toilet frequently).By the way, be prepared for midnight prayers – the minaret is 50 meters from the hotel windows.The doors in all the rooms have holes.The breakfast is disgusting.I booked this hotel based on positive reviews. DO NOT TRUST THE GOOD REVIEWS OF THIS HOTEL!

Nothing to be honest

What an awesome place to call home in Istanbul! Located in the heart of the old town, Zeyn is centrally situated so you can explore this vibrant city. Very close to the Grand Bazaar and major attractions. Many, many restaurants within walking distance. Delicious and diverse breakfast (the manager even cooked one of the dishes!). Our room had a great sea view. Housekeeping staff is exceptional. Staff is what makes Zeyn so special. Their mission is to make you feel cared for and the team will go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. We will always remember the kindness of Selçuk, Nurbek, Ilyas, and Doslet.

I had a wonderful stay here—the staff were warm and attentive, and the room was spotless and comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the breakfast and amenities made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

The hotel staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure my experience was exceptional. The beds were comfortable and I had all do the amenities I needed. The breakfast was great!! I would totally recommend the hotel to anyone- with a great location and wonderful staff, it is the perfect spot.

Everything was great!

his hotel is in the old town of Istanbul and is very close to the attractions that we like to go to - less than 10 minutes away from the Blue Masque and the Column of Constantine (also the T1 Tram stop). One young staff member (first name containing Alex I think) gave us a PowerPoint presentation of what to see in Istanbul and it was so helpful. He also helped us in getting a ride to the airport during the rush hours.

The old town is on a hill so you need a good pair of walking shoes to walk around.

Two mosques nearby & prayer chanting were loud, but earplugs helped

Perfect location, friendly and helpful staff, incredible original Turkish breakfast!!! —olives, cheeses, and variety of vegetables. On an alley along an ancient Byzantine wall. Great overview of Istanbul highlights on our arrival. Google maps took us everywhere (T-Mobile). Everyone spoke English ??
