Facilities are a bit old. Need more maintenance.

Late at night. I thought I paid on booking. So did the receptionist. Went upstairs, falling asleep, manager decides to knock on my door and wake me up after midnight to tell me I had to pay

Very central location, close to main tram and main railway station, close to waterfront for ferries and boat trips, countless eateries close by and on same street. Location couldn't be better.Very very good valueIs very good for budget traveller needing central location, clean bed, lock on door

Bathroom really needs refurbishment, it would probably make females run away. There was no water for 2 days out of a 4 night stay,, but in fairness this may be a city wide problem, uncertain.

There was no breakfast offered. The location was great.

The front desk had attitude, the room/bath was dirty with mold, and there was no good wifi or AC.

Worse stay ever

The room was not clean, was smelly and had no lights. So had it changed. The second room had no light in bathroom and I had to use my phone for light, AC was not working so couldn’t sleep due to heat and the plug socket wouldn’t work and was falling out of the wall, so couldn’t charge our phones. We want a refund. It was the worse stay ever. My brother in law only had piping hot water for the shower. The place is falling apart. It felt like I was paying to stay in a run down back alley hotel. But the pictures on booking.com show all good rooms and when I asked the staff why it is not like that, they told me the pictures were old pictures. Don’t stay here. It’s not worth the money.

Honestly it’s just time spending.

I would like to share my accomodation experience in Turvan hotel in Istambul. Good location and price per night. Normal bed with clean linen.

Room was dirty, only one towel per person, furniture is old and damaged, dirty window, in bathroom no hot water, dirty floor. Breakfast is free, but not enough food for all guests. Hotel indeed needed renovation.

Hotel needs renovation

Excellent value for money. They provided a free breakfast even though it wasn't mentioned on Booking. It is an affordable hotel, not fancy one, and probably not the best choice for a romantic trip or family with kids. But if you are solo traveller on a budget and need a decent room with comfy bad and free breakfast in superb location for a ridiculous price - look no more.

Mr ismail is the greatest man that i ever seen he helped us a lot also was so kind . There is no trick or lie in this hotel you can feel your home comfort not luxury but reasonable

What I liked the most about this property or hotel was the staff of two friendly people or the staff who were During my check inn entrance or reception at the hotel.

The entire hotel is much, much old damaged. and in the corridor of the hotel. both in the rooms of the hotel and in the bathrooms the doors are damaged, the walls are damaged, many things are damaged in the hotel. Very old hotel and not to recommend to anyone The one who wants to be comfortable? And to relax.0

The central location and how most attractions were within range.

Unfortunately a horrible experience as a whole. Booked a double bedroom on bookings app and was given a single bedroom upon arrival on floor 5. The ceiling was leaking, doorknobs was missing, radiator not working & poor ventilation. Had to move to another room on floor 1 and low and behold.. this one started leaking too and the ceiling was coming off! Dampness and moisture on the walls throughout. Knew straightaway the hotel had very very poor maintenance. Also the staff and hotel manager are dishonest. It is unacceptable to operate such a business with the hotel in such a condition but somehow they still do and I do not know how this property is even allowed to be listed to bookings.com. They offered me a taxis pickup service and i paid €80 for a pickup and drop off. They picked me up in a black vip taxi and of course the drop off was done in a yellow cab which tends to be cheaper. Stayed only 3 nights and had already paid taxi fares so could not checkout since i read other reviews that they don’t refund. My advice? Avoid at all costs.
