Ansen Hotel and Suites

The location for the hotel was fair and the room was spacious.

After we checked in, the power for the hotel went out. This resulted in a complete lack of AC during our stay over the summer. They said they would give us a refund but they have refused to respond to our emails.

Great location, close to restaurants, bars, Istiklal. Still within walking distance to Sultahnamet area for sightseeing. Very spacious room, reasonably priced. Helpful staff.

The wndows are not soundproof and the street was very noisy, earplugs were not enough. We had to change to a room not facing the street so we could sleep after the first night. Fortunately there was one room still available.Breakfast time is late, starting at 8 am. As I would have to leave the hotel before that time on the first day of our stay, I wrote beforehand asking if a packed breakfast could be arranged for that first morning. The answer was yes. The reality was no - they forgot about it.

- Really noisy , there is a bar right in front and it really gets noisy until late at night - room needs more upgrade, specially bathroom: the shower holder was broken , and the hot water wasn’t really hot - the staff were helpful but they weren’t that friendly ( sometimes it gets awkward as if you are bothering them) - breakfast is ok but nothing more than the standard one , and it’s the same every day !

The room was very spacious and we appreciated they had a lift. It was centrally located and the staff was very friendly.

Our room (5th floor) had no curtains or blinds to cover the 3 large round windows. We had to use extra pillows and blankets to try to have privacy. Additionally, that meant that we were up when the sun was up. The room needs to have room-darkening shades so that guests can sleep in if they want to. (This also applies to the sky lights.) Also, the grout in the shower was black at the bottom and should be replaced. The bathroom could use an upgrade. It was rather odd that the front entrance of this “boutique hotel” was an Irish bar that had 0 customers during our stay.

Starting with great staff. Great location. Felt really safe there. Really comfy beds. Metro station is really close.Have to end with great staff too.

Hotel needs to add at least one more type of breakfast. It is fine breakfast, but eating literally the same breakfast for 4 mornings is tricky.First two nights we could barely sleep due to noise from the bar across the street, it was really loud and windows were not insulating noise almost at all. As soon as we told the manager, he instantly provided us appartment on the other side of hotel - it was smaller but quiet and cleaner and in better shape. Some furniture needs renovation in both appartments.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Was also in a good location!

We had an issue with the smell of our bathroom. The staff sent cleaners to try and clean the drains but issue persisted. Wasnt an issue if we kept the bathroom door closed. There is a bar downstairs and lots along the street. Wasnt too loud for us but something to note for others if that could be an issue.

The apartment was huge, well-appointed and perfectly situated for our needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was very substantial and delicious. The pillows were the best of all the places we stayed at during our Turkey trip.

The staff were so friendly, the room was massive and the Turkish breakfast was absolutely delicious!! We would highly recommend Ansen Suites to anyone looking to stay in Istanbul!

Specially the guys working at the hotel were super polite and communicative. Loved the bar and cafe of the hotel.

Well it definitely exceeded my expectations. The room was huge! Very well decorated and everything within the room was freshly built. The location is very convenient, there's a bus stop just 100m from the hotel.

The breakfast was very delicious, but I felt like the portion could be a little bigger. :)

I like the bar and the breakfast is really good and delicious. The room is clean and nice, but it may need a bit renovation. The staffs are really friendly and helpful. Location is perfect and excellent.

Location was the best thing about this hotel! Being so lose to metro, tram and İstiklal was great!Room was spacious even though it was not the exact one as the photos in the booking platform. It was very very similar though. Bed was extremely big! Always hot water! Cleaning and making bed every day! Breakfast at room! Staff was really helpful and kind!Food at the pub on the ground floor was really really tasty!

We had booked the executive suite, the elevator goes up to the 4th floor, while the room was at the 5th. We would like to know that beforehand as we had a stroller that we had to carry every single time.Kitchen was there but no equipment at all! No plates, no forks, spoons, knives, no pans, etc. It would be nice to have that since I needed to cook little meals for our baby. I mean, it's already there! Why not being able to use it?Fridays and Saturdays are noisy. You can hear the pub and the street (since more people go out) all the way up to the 5th floor.We could also use some more lighting in the room and we would like the main room to be more hot. Heating was working great but heat was mainly directed to the kitchen and the bathroom.Breakfast and WiFi was okeish.

The apartment is very clean and lots of space. Our apartment was nice and quiet. The street is very noisy and busy. The location was good. Close to all the shops and an half an hours walk to the bridge. Close to nice restaurants.

The apartment doesn't have a view and is dark. you have to walk through a restaurant to get to the apartments.

The staff is exceptionally nice and helpful, the location is excellent, the price is reasonable, and the breakfast was enjoyable.

The rooms could benefit from a renovation.

Super place, 2nd stop here, great location, right in the heart of old Istanbul, surrounded by bars and restaurants, all within walking distance. Huge rooms, great staff, fab breakfast and amazing value! What’s not to like!
