Danis Hotel Istanbul

The way they were cleaning the rooms was very good, but on my last trip the size of the room was very diff in comparison with this time.

Breakfast is not that much of a thing very few options, a 4 star hotel like that cant offer any soups for breakfast.

Cigarette smoke smell seeped horribly to the room from outside or rooms next to ours. As a pregnant woman, this really worried me, especially because there were no fans or anything else that we could turn on to get it out. Breakfast was really mediocre.

Located centrally with good metro/tram/bus connections. Rooms nice and clean. Staff very nice. Breakfast ok.

Although centrally located, restaurants and shops outside seem to prey on tourists so be wary. Some of the rooms only have a view of the wall of the building next to it. There is no luggage room so be warned they can only keep your luggage by reception

The location of the hotel is very good. The interior they have is very nice. Prices are reasonable as compared to other hotels like this. Spa , steam bath and sauna is also good. Breakfast is nice not too good and not even too bad.

Area for breakfast must be big it¿s very condense and time for breakfast must be till 10:30 am. Pool water was cold as i stayed 6 nights it was cold throughout my stay.

The breakfast buffet was amazing, so many different options and good quality food.

There was noise outside that affected the rooms.

ot Worth the Money!

I had high hopes for my stay at this hotel, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a massive letdown. I paid a significant amount of money, expecting a luxurious experience, but what I received was far from 4-star quality.First off, I booked a package that included spa access, but to my shock, I was told I had to pay extra just to use the facilities. This is misleading and feels like a scam. If I’m paying a premium, I expect full access, not hidden fees.Then there was the air conditioning—or lack thereof. The room was uncomfortably hot, and despite multiple complaints, nothing was done. To make matters worse, the TV didn't work either. I tried to relax in my room but ended up frustrated instead.Breakfast was another disappointment. The options were limited and the food was bland. I could barely find anything appealing to eat, and what I did try was subpar at best.What really irked me was the staff's insistence on receiving a 5-star rating. Instead of focusing on improving their service and addressing valid complaints, they seemed more concerned about boosting their ratings. This left a sour taste in my mouth.Lastly, the hotel door kept getting stuck, making it a hassle to enter the room.. this one certainly didn’t live up to the standards of a 4-star establishment.Overall, I left feeling disappointed and underappreciated. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel based on my experience. Save your money and look elsewhere!

The staff was very friendly and humble. In general, the hotel is good and has a convenient location. The breakfast is very tasty

The cleaning and toiletries could be more professionally handled. Also, the room was quite small.

The location is exceptional, and everything else is very good. Good breakfast, caring staff, and overall a great experience.

My kids were a bit jet lagged and struggled to make it for breakfast in time. My daughter loves fruit in the morning, and I was taking 2 slices of watermelon to her room. The front desk was rather firm and surprisingly a bit rude in stating that I couldn't take it to her room. Wish it was handled more appropriately

It was an excellent stay, staff was very polite and helpfull, especially mr. Bayram and Emre. It was most pleasant stay. It was clean, food was great, spa and hamam was very nice and comfortable.

Extremely disappointing stay - dirty , poorly maintained and rude staff

I do not recommend this hotel. It was very dirty and poorly maintained. We left the next day and checked into another hotel, even though we weren’t sure if we would get our money back — it was impossible to stay even five more minutes. The reception staff was extremely rude and unhelpful.

Located close enough to historical sites; the room looked exactly like at the website; very very friendly staff; and funny enough literally was my best rain shower experience

It’s pretty loud on the street where the hotel is located, so I definitely had to use earplugs at night, and in the morning too; spa/pool facilities cost 20€/hour, that’s a bit extra in my opinion; not clean enough I would say, currants in the room really looked disgusting to be touched; breakfast is not too good for a 4star hotel. I wouldn’t recommend for the price to be honest

Friendly, clean and good connected rooms for family stay.

The front desk was trying to be friendly and helpful but at some point it felt that they were pushing attractions where they have more interest in the attraction then we were.

Just got back from a few days stay at Danis Hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel. The room was clean, breakfast was good, excellent location and private spa facilities.I just want to say a thank you to the staff who were happy to help with any queries and were able to assist us during our stay. A special thank you to Bahadir who works at the reception! A lovely, friendly, cheery member of staff who made our stay more comfortable and made us feel very welcome! Bahadir was always happy to help us and spoke good english which made the communication easier. Danis Hotel are lucky to have you as their member of staff! ?Also a thank you to the members of staff who assisted us with our luggage!The location is also excellent as the tram station is only around a five minute walk away. The hotel has plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.The room was clean and comfortable.Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to make use of the private pool and spa due to time restrictions during our stay however I would highly recommend this option as it is looked lovely and was very reasonably priced.

Single bed wasn’t very comfortable.
