    Cons -

    • the train is a bit loud from the room

Great location and value for money. Breakfast was good and a lot of food. Overall enjoyed our stay. Elena was very helpful during our stay. Bed was very comfortable.

It is a little noisy as not much sound proofing but to be expected with older building.

The room was close to the railroad tracks and you could often hear trains going by, and blood was found on my comforter but the store refused to replace it

Most of all I have to thank to the recepcionist that was holding car parking for us at the very narrow street with no parking places and later found a better parking space and reparked our car. He was very kind and helpfull with siteseeing advices and reccomendations. Breakfast was good. They organised a trip with a boat for us and adviced us best offer. Location is perfect for siteseeing on foot, no transport needed. All reccomendations from us!

Nice location and small place. Easy communication as we had a midnight check in and they went above and beyond to make it easy like leaving the heater on (it was freezing outside!) and super clear instructions to access the place and our room

A little noisy, I’m a light sleeper and our room was right next to the train, hear boats, even seagulls ?

Easy check in\out, comfy bed, clean room, complementary coffee and tea, great location and lovely breakfast.

Our windows faced to the railways which was a bit noisy. The online communication was not that smooth.

Wonderfully located close to The Blue Mosque, and walkable to most historical attractions in Sultanahmet as well as the tramlime. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with a great host and staff who will go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay.

    Good location, bed.

There was an error in the Check-in time. Because of this we had to pay more upon check-in. The hotel needs renovation and there was a bad smell of sewage coming from the toilet. Bad view from the window to the backyard. Breakfast is the same every day. The coffee is the cheapest and tasteless. The lamps above the bed did not work. There is no air conditioning or telephone in the room. The walls are very thin and there was a lot of noise from the other room at night. I could not sleep. There is no parking. We asked to be woken up for the airport, but the receptionist did not do it.

Good location, very close to blue mosque and old town. Not on the main street so may be a little bit quiet to walk at night, but didn’t feel dangerous. Room is quite small, but considering the price and the location it is still good value of money. Staff is very helpful. Good breakfast.

Soundproofing of the room is a bit poor so can easily hear people walking and talking upstairs at night. But other than this, no big issue.

Everyone was very friendly. We had an early flight and they arranged for our breakfast to be delivered as early as possible for us to take it before the flight.

    10ValentinaPosted on: 11-11-2024

The position is exceptional because you can walk easily to the main attractions, the room was clean and everyone in the staff was very helpful and attentive to their guests.

Lovely small hotel only a short walk from the bars and restaurants. Very helpful staff who sorted out a taxi back to the airport. Breakfast was included, defo would stay again when back in Istanbul.

The rooms to the rear of the hotel do back onto a railway line, just one to be aware of.

    - 5 minutes away on foot from the Blue Mosque and several streets full of restaurants and shops, 7 minutes away from the Hagia Sophia Mosque, 10-12 minutes away from the Topkapi.- Safe street, even at night.- Decent breakfast.- Attentive reception staff: gave us a better room in another building (the "Little Palace Blue") across the street from the Lebon Hotel as some of its rooms seemed to have been renovated recently and with newer furniture.- They let us keep our luggage in the hotel after checkout time.Price is right for what you get compared to prices in neighboring hotels, which is why I gave it a score of 7/10.

    - No elevator (as advertised): if you have heavy luggage, you will have to carry them for two flights of stairs.- Construction is going on on the right side of the "Little Palace Blue" building every day: I would avoid staying there if you plan on sleeping until late in the morning or work during the day in your room as the noise would make it hard to sleep in and work. The construction at the site seems to only have started and it could probably last at least 10-12 months (until July 2025).- There is no dining room to take your breakfast: there are only two small tables with two chairs each and they are located next to the reception desk, at the bottom of the staircase leading to the first floor bedrooms and next to the staff kitchen: it does feel cramped.- There was a power outage for several hours (between 3pm and 2am the next day) in the "Little Palace Blue" building and the Lebon Hotel: staff told us it was due to a generalized power outage at the street block level; yet, from what I noticed, all buildings around the Hotel seemed to have electricity, or maybe they had a generator that powered their electrical devices. The heat in the bedroom (29-31 C) made it hard to sleep until the power came back at 2am.

It’s a small clean hotel and they served breakfast to the guests.

The stairs because we have big bags to carry up the stairs.

The owner of the property was very polite. You can buy local trips from him. Reliable person.

Very noisy room. You can hear footsteps from room above and train sounds when it runs. Bathroom was very smelly. Not really a 3 star hotel. It was a little building with 5 rooms no reception desk.

    6ElenaPosted on: 8-26-2024

The location was good. About 10 min walk to the main mosques in sultanahmet. The staff was friendly, clean and tidy room. The hotel itself is on a small street just off the big noise from the main tourist area, there is a bus 6-7 min walk that goes to the Egyptian market too.

The breakfast was a very simple plate of an egg, a little bit of cheese, a bit of cucumber and a quarter of a tomato, 3 sizes of spam, 5 olives and some grapes, or half banana, or a quarter of an apple. The bread was nice tho! The breakfast was pretty much the same each day. Very different compared to what my previous experiences in Istanbul have been. The downside of our room was the train that was a few metres away from our windows. Also the bathroom had a smell of drain, and the toilet seat wasn't working too well. Overall the hotel was good for the money, and the location.

A wardrobe with a safe for storing valuables, fresh towels daily, soap, shower gel and shampoo provided, extra storage as well as extra bedding/pillows located under the bed, a kettle, a mini fridge and great A/C. -Perfect location. All relevant attractions are nearby Serkan very nice staff thank you!-The staff is really nice and helpful-The Wi-Fi is fast-The room was very clean and they change the towels dailPerfect location - A 5 minute walk from the Sea. 10 minute walk from all major attractions as well as many shops/restaurants. Amazing staff - Host was immensely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Housekeeping did a great job of maintaining the room and were respectful of my belongings.

Nothing to dislike and no complaints.
