Parkview on Hagley overlooks Hagley Park in the center of Christchurch. This 4-star hotel offers spacious suite-style accommodations, free internet and free parking within walking distance of the CBD. The spacious guest rooms all offer an open-plan sleeping and living area, plus kitchenette facilities. Many of the rooms have private balconies with views over the park. The hotel is located opposite Hagley Park where all guests can enjoy a stroll at any time of the day. Parkview on Hagley is within walking distance of the city center, Westfield Riccarton Shopping Mall and Events Center.

Pros +
- Big rooms, Parking is good cause free but all the way at top of structure. Close to botanical gardens
- Great location. Near the park, botanic gardens, and many restaurants. Room was commodious.
- Very nice rooms , Clean and up to date
Cons -
- The rooms and hotel are all very outdated. You enter a chicken shop through the lobby lol would recommend staying closer to town. Kind of a weird place.
- The bathroom strongly smelled like urine when I arrived. Parking is only available on the top floor of the ramp (3rd or 4th floor?) and there is no elevator to take luggage up/down - therein, street parking is more convenient.
- Only concern with this hotel was entrance and limited parking Most of the parking is on the rooftop level of the garage, Actual walk in entrance to the lobby is in rear and is a dirty parking garage/ rear entrance for restaurants. graffiti!
