Pros +
- Close to everything SkyTower is just 10 min walk. Lot of restaurants near by
- Location
- I booked the penthouse and the views were amazing
Cons -
- The "bedroom" was not a bedroom, it was part of the main room with a weird roll down blind separating, more like a king suite
- There was nothing to dislike.
- It did mention private parking, but I had to pay separately after making my booking, which as disappointing. The room was smelly and not properly cleaned. The room windows were not shutting properly, making it very noisy during nighttime and early morning.

Pleasantly surprised by the facilities available; wash machine, dishwasher, couch and table. Will stay again in future.
There was nothing to dislike.
Great location and service. Easy to communicate with the team and safe.

Def wouldn't recommend the room - but the staff were lovely and friendly!
Unfort the room we got, was average at best. Bathroom had moldy walls and roof - exhaust fan wasn't working either, lights flickering in kitchen and bathroom. Kitchen cooking essentials not family friendly and were extremely small in size - exhaust fan in kitchen didn't work either! Also the washing machine dryer never worked either - so ended up leaving with wet clothes.
The stay at the hotel was fine , we used and enjoy the hot tub in the evening, somehow no other guest using it so we were lucky. Compliment goes to the staff , we left a mobile phone in the bed under the cover after we check out , and only realize two hours later when we drive south, we call the receptionist to hold it for us as we come back to Auckland in two days time. They kept the mobile phone for us and two days later they handed it back to us .
Extra Parking at $40 per night and it has to be vallet by the staff . Not a big deal but i guess that's how they manage the propery to make it easy for everyone
central point affordable stay for three days... that valet parking was a massive plus. trying to find parking otherwise would've been futile! Staff had made a massive effort to display Christmas trees and decorations during our stay... felt friendly and fun.
Location and car parking facility
They charged on my wrong debit card even after I had updated my payment card and I had to pay extra surcharge on it.Also the Ensuite is very small.
Comfy, roomy, clean, great location. Friendly staff.
The gym was not good at all.
Location was good. View to the harbor was a bonus.
Could not get Wi-Fi to connect and when I tried to get help there was no answer at reception, so I gave up trying to work in the room. AC unit was very noisy so left it off.
Location is good, central city and close to things.
The front desk reception staff member that served us wasn't helpful. Room wasn't ready upon our arrival well after check-in time. Issue was out of their control, however her customer service was poor and rude. She was happy to make me sign for the room immediately and happy to take my credit card and ID and hold on to it till the room was ready rather than returning it back to me while we had to wait for the room to be ready. Felt a bit dodgy as both were taken outback not given back (I'm talking about over 15+min) for whatever reason till she gave us the key (singular, only one key available for the room). The overall feel of the hotel was very cheap. Have stayed several times in the past and been really satisfied, however this time it felt like service and standards have DROPPED a lot! Honestly, I won't stay ever again. Cleaning staff were lovely and friendly, however appears the hotel is understaffed for cleaners as rooms weren't serviced till very later afternoon - near 4pm. Room was poor. Balcony door handle was broken - swinging in place, missing screws, and no lock handle just bent metal. It all was a bit run down. Charging stations by bed didn't work and made a spark when attempting to plug into them. Had the customer service been better some things could have been overlooked.
Location
Old smelly small rooms, inside of the hotel facility were walking people under influence of alcohol or probably drugs(we were not feeling safe ). Nobody came to clean the room we have to buy our our soap because hotels were empty. Not recommending place!!
Room had a great view to the wharf. I thought it was a little closer but uber's were a reasonable price.
Good location close to Spark Arena. We got a partial view out over the harbour. Compact room, but comfortable.
No bench space in the bathroom.
I used to go to this hotel as it is handy and close from my workplace.
I arrived and I realised I did not make my booking - Only the penthouse was available. As it was late, I decided to stay despite the price. Once in the room, I fell asleep and been awaken being ichy - I quickly found out that there waswere bed bugs in the bed as I spotted one scrawling on the bed. I went to the reception and could not get another room but I have been promised that I would have 50% discount - the staff was useless on that evening. I did not sleep all night and avoided to get back to bed. The day after, I have been downgraded to a smaller room but still paid for the price of the penthouse room. I raised it to the staff before leaving and they did not want me to pay the rate of the room I slept in - I finally left being really angry with no sleep and a discount I have not seen yet !I will never go back there - It is already the third time I have been attacked by bud bed in this hotel.
Housekeeping didn't do a good job cleaning the room. We saw a used band-aid on the floor and it was still there when we came back.
Cleanliness was not as expected.
Bed comfy, shower good. Room mostly quiet except when upstairs had a shower.
The breakfast was really average - they didn't put out more bread when it ran out; the food items were all cheap so the breakfast was expensive for what it was - the problem with that part of Auckland is there isn't much close by in the way of cafes - the Pullman next door would be a better breakfast option. I don't like the tiny UHT milk cartons that are so wasteful of plastic and a whole fridge freezer on all the time to keep them cold. Overall, it felt like it was run on the tightest budget possible but the cost of the hotel stay isn't budget. I would recommend buying provisions from the supermarket and using the room facilities to feed yourself.
Friendly waitress staff , good location in town centre good price but breakfast was not really fresh and some cold meat was off
Adequate pricing for a good location.
The heater in the room didn’t work, but it was replaced after we informed reception. The phone also didn’t work (and still did not work, even after inspection), so we had to go to reception in person to request our car from the valet (which took extra time since we couldn’t call). On-site parking is only valet parking and costs $40 per night.
