New Haven Motel

cute and old school and the staff were kind and helpful

Very pleasant staff on duty. My room was quite old but had been nicely refurbished and the standard of maintenance/cleaning was exceptional. It was also within 5 minutes walk of cafes and restaurants.

The room information pack said continental breakfast was available - no breakfast was available and I had breakfast at McDonald's in Kelston Mall.Television reception was poor quality. I'm not sure of the reason for this but it didn't really matter as I mainly used the Internet which was fine.

Excellent location for our needs. Super helpful staff. Comfortable roomy unit able to accommodate a mixed age & sexes family group.

Absolutely fabulous bed - so comfortable and beautifully made up. It was the best night's sleep I've had in ages! Clean room and lovely hot, powerful shower.Brilliant location ten mins walk to Lynmall.

Spa pool was tepid so we didn't bother using it.

Very friendly staff and helpful. Great location near buses and trains as well as near mall.

Clean, easy access and close to main roads to get to city

Very close to the airport. Excellent shuttle service to and from the airport. Rooms were small but good. The open kitchen cum living room was good, comfortable beds and linens. Showers and toilets were good.

The check in experience was very dfficult. The check in time was 2 pm. We arrived 1.15 pm but did not get the rooms before 4.30 pm. The staff was not cooperative and behaviour of one of them was bad bordering abusive. Whereas the young lady during our check out was kind and helpful.

Our second time staying here, great for a family, staff are lovely and while dated it always feels really clean and nice.

We checked in early and the manager was very accommodating and friendlyWe were upgraded (no extra charge) as i had booked the wrong room (thank you so much)Very homely place

a little dated but very cosy

The staff were super helpful and friendly - A+ making our stay very enjoyable and straight forward. This place is excellent value for money and had all the things we needed for a family stay - pool, spa & gym a bonus. We loved the setup of the rooms with loft for the single beds.

The beds weren't super comfy, the shower pressure is weak, and with the room right by the road some of the Sat night road traffic was waking us up.

clean and tidy

was very hot But fans supplied helped

I have stayed here before and I wasn't a huge fan, although it was good value. This visit I really enjoyed and it was very cleaning. Facilities were good and the water pressure was great.

The upstairs beds were very hard and uncomfortable but luckily didn't need to sleep on them

Rooms were so clean. Good location and facilities

As always, Ian and the Team at New Haven are always cheerful, helpful and provide an outstanding service. One of the rare places that offer daily servicing and fresh towels. The Unit was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed.

The room was was well furnished and as we were there for nearly three weeks the staff were more than happy to wash and dry our used clothes whilst we were out and about for the day. Ian and his team could not have been more helpful.

Nice motel on the western edge of Auckland. Well equipped room. We had a very good stay - used the pool, barbecue and laundry. Staff were very helpful. We were travelling northwest, so good starting point to escape traffic in the morning when we left. If you have some extra time, the Waitakere Ranges park and a visit to Piha beach are well worth it! Very easy drive from the motel.

The room was very spacious and tidy. Everything worked well. Hospitality was exceptional. Ian was amazing the whole time. And allowed us to park our car there for a couple days.

Older style but very clean and tidy. Friendly helpful staff. Good location for New Lynn.

The apartment was cozy and tidy. The flowers on the outside of the room was very pretty. The apartment has a king bed on the ground floor in a closed room and 3 single beds (1 is in the living room area behind the couch and the other 2 are upstairs in an open attic space), there is 1 toilet, 1 shower room and a vanity. The water pressure was good and hot water came pretty fast. Only 4 people (my parents and their 2 friends) stayed there so there was plenty of space. The kitchen has multiple utensils to cook with, there is a small stove a portable electric pan/pot, jug, toaster and enough plates and cups for even 6 people to use at the same time. There are also things to clean up after we used the kitchen so it's very convenient. Staffs are friendly.Good location. The hotel is close to the train station (10~15 min walk) and there is enough parking space if needed. Despite being on the main road, the noise of traffic isn't a problem, seems to be pretty quite at night. There are plenty of restaurants around New Lynn centre.

Knives in the apartment could be sharpened a bit more. Currently a bit dull to cut fruits. Other than that everything else was nice.

Location good for train station, and right on main road, so easy to find.

Outside metal stair case.
