Power outages ( not city power but the HOTEL'S own outage). They lock you in at night while running the airporter - don't go outside because you can't get back in. Our room opened to the parking lot with a door that would not lock. terrible stay
location is only ~3 miles from the Auckland airport which is good for returning a rental car and catching an early flight. But we stayed at a much better hotel less than a mile away with much better quality hotel and service for about the same price.
attitude of the hotel staff was extremely unpleasant & unprofessional. no hot water, room not clean, door did not appear to be secured, felt unsafe, booked 1st and last night during my 2 weeks in Australia. hotel was shut down when we arrived last night!!
